Letting his hand glide to her neck, Corvin leaned in and pressed his lips on hers. It was soft, a gentle kiss.
" I won't accompany you today. You will be with Dakran and Maya the entire time. But I'll be there," He whispered against her lips as he pulled away from the kiss.
Do not meddle.
" Alright," Dakran had him hogtied, and he wasn't struggling for some reason. It wasn't in his nature to not bristle. Something didn't feel right. All of a sudden he'd turned into a puppy. Tame. Corvin wasn't tame. He was brash, crude, arrogant, imposing, aggressive, direct.
" Corvin," She wasn't sure whether she should voice out her thoughts on the matter. She was merely a guest," Why are you like this? All of a sudden, all nice and," She felt the need to gesture with her hands, unable to find the right word for whatever he was doing.
" Why?" He throws back the question, with furrowed brows.
" Uhm...I know you, remember. We have spent three moons together. I feel like there is something more to it than you being in love," She said it, and now it was time to see what he had to say for himself.
Nervously tittering, he raked a hand through his hair, " I don't know how to explain this, but," He took a deep breath, " I want to treat you nice...and, and...be good to you," His shoulders sagged, " I spent some time with Maya and that woman got into my head. Somehow, " He deflated and blew out a breath. Perhaps, even himself not entirely at ease with the new version.
" I don't know this man," Iris clasped his hands and gave him a gentle squeeze. She found herself liking the other one better.
" I'm trying. The other one scares you," He sheepishly said, half shrugging, almost pouting.
She burst into a fit of laughter, " You don't scare me. I already told you, I'm not afraid of you," He perked up, with a widening grin and the arrogance resurfaced just as she let out a breath.
He asked if she was sure. She wasn't afraid of him. Never had been.
"Amazing," He exclaimed, and the next she knew she was trapped between him, the door and the bulge at her thigh.
" We will have some fun tonight," He crooned as he leaned in and captured her lips, in an aggressively passionate kiss that made her heart stumble in her chest.
" Don't be shy," He wickedly crooned, nudging her with his hard cock, " It will be yours. I can't wait to taste your pretty cunt," She knew shouldn't feel aroused by his words, nonetheless the searing heat surged, and pooled in her loins.
" Corvin," That was all she was able to muster, as he leaned in on her, grinding his erection on her thigh.
"It's just a little taste of what I have in store for you," He hummed seductively, a beast. She unleashed the beast within him.
" We should go," She stammered, as he pulled away, grinning at her with hungry eyes.
" What's wrong? I thought you weren't afraid?" He smugly said as she felt for the door handle.
" I'm not," She swallowed, to catch her erratic breath, and pressed on the door handle, ready to run for her life.
Pinning her hand against the door, he leaned in, his eyes raked across her face and settled on her lips, and licked his, like a greedy beast in front of his meal.
" I will make sure you won't be able to walk straight for a few days," His voice was just above a whisper, and she felt her knees buckle at sensuality in his tone.
Fear coated in excitement unfurled within her and spread faster than any fire she had ever seen. The sisters went wild. Holly Mother have mercy on me.
" We really should go now, Corvin," She stammered badly, like a mumbling fool.
He regretfully sighed, " Such a pity to spend an entire day looking at houses, and barracks. When I have a much more enjoyable day planned for us," He teased, as he pulled away and released her hand.
" I guess, it will be that much sweeter," He hummed mostly to himself as she was already out the door. Pick one.
His steps behind her echoed in the stoney corridor, very much like water trickling off a stalactite in the deep caves of Perth.
Voices trickled through the corridors, as everyone was ready to depart to set off the celebration.
Edýia's eyes widened when she appeared at the top of the steps and Corvin halted a few paces behind, out of sight, their sight. She could feel his eyes on her and she already knew that it would be so the entire day.
They said their greeting as soon as she reached the bottom of the steps. Pleasantries were exchanged, in a polite manner. While they waited for Corvin who made an appearance at the top of the stairs at the mention of his name.
All gathered they mounted their horses and made headway towards Gaerwen while Dakran spoke about how the rebuilding was going, now that the village had been completed. It was a joint effort from all sides. Karrise had done nothing to lend a hand in spite of his request for aid. Every man for himself.
Even though he had agreed to join the celebrations. He will be arriving in the evening along with his court. A good opportunity to reinforce the alliance with the North.
Corvin had kept his distance, but his eyes stayed on her the entire time. So piercing that sometimes she had to remind herself to breathe. I will make sure you won't be able to walk straight for a few days.
His words echoed from the dark corners of her mind while the sisters giggled, excited at the promise in his tone. She wasn't sure what to feel.
Gaerwen wasn't far from Ironstone, but livelier. Colourful ribbons hung across the streets, while the minstrels played their cheerful tune, everyone danced and enjoyed themselves. Laughing, chatting, whistling. A cacophony of sounds and life. So beautiful that her heart squeezed so tight, and the air refused to leave her lungs.
" It's beautiful," She heard herself saying with bated breath.
" Not as beautiful as you," His deep dusky voice made her jump. She didn't hear him pull his horse next to hers.
" I didn't mean to scare you," He sounded apologetic.
" You didn't scare me," She bit back, " I just," She stopped herself from speaking. Something had changed within her.
" If you say so, " He nudged the horse to move when Dakran barked at him, a reminder of a discussion they had prior to her arrival, perhaps. Most likely related to the fact that he wasn't allowed near her.
