The ultimate adventure

Zuwena's P.O.V

It's been four days since I started my new job, and I've been having a blast. To prove that this man had money, on the second day of my job as his stylist, I asked Mrs. Lydia, his housekeeper, to get me some fabrics so I could start sewing a shirt, and to my astonishment, Mrs. Lydia returned with a bank card from Mr. Casper himself. I was escorted by five bodyguards to one of the city's largest shopping malls. The entire setting was stunning.

I had the opportunity to visit shops with fantastic fabrics, but the issue was the cost; all prices were high, and I had a difficult time deciding because the materials were all so beautiful, and I wanted to spend the least amount of money possible, which was impossible.

I was with one of the bodyguards the entire time. Two were at the entrance of the shop; for the other three, I have no idea where they were. The one who was with me was extremely helpful, as he assisted with carrying and helped me when one of the cashiers in the shop attempted to persecute me during payment. I was done with shopping, and I went to pay, handing her the black metal debit card. Instead of swiping the card, she initially looked at the card and checked me out from head to toe.

This isn't yours. "So who did you steal from?" she asked. "A person like you can't buy anything in this shop," she added. We'll have to contact the owner; we can't just let you off the hook like this. She spoke firmly, her gaze fixed on me. People can be cruel and judgmental, and I've grown to accept that because I can't do anything about it. People can be cruel and judgmental, and I grew up in that environment, so it's nothing new to me.

She pressed one of the counter's buttons, and a tall man, whom she addressed as "boss," appeared a few moments later. He was the store manager. The man inquired as to why he had been singled out, and the mean lady explained the situation, not forgetting to exaggerate the entire situation, which I did not object to in any way. I didn't have the energy or desire to get involved in a tumultuous situation. When checking me out, the man did the same thing and asked the cashier to contact the owner of the debit card something my bodyguard advised them not to do, but they did anyway.

The cashier checked the card as the man returned to get his glasses, but there was no name or information on it.

I stopped the guard from invading because I didn't want to cause or create any commotion. After all, there were people nearby. I didn't have a phone, and the cashier was unable to contact the store's owner (Mr. Casper) because the cashier and store manager refused to bill my purchases. One of the people waiting at the store door was summoned by the bodyguard who was accompanying me. The bodyguard who had been with me the entire time told him to call Mr. Casper, which he did after speaking with him for a few seconds.

The phone was handed to the cashier, who turned pale almost immediately. She apologizes and hands the phone to the manager, who is also becoming pale. He begins to apologize and make excuses for himself. The manager was forced to hand the phone back to the bodyguard and return it to me to apologize and curse the cashier out after the call was disconnected.

"I warned you," The manager said, "That you'd get us in trouble one day." As I stood there, perplexed, the girl began to cry. I was curious as to what it was that Mr. Casper said to them that bothered them so much. The cashier attempted to swipe the card to begin the transaction, but one of the bodyguards quickly snatched the card from her grip. "Wait for him," the bodyguard said.

I restrained myself from asking any questions because I had no idea what was going on. The girl pleaded with the bodyguard to give her the card, but he ignored her. Apart from the staff and two bodyguards, the other bodyguards escorted people out of the store, and I was the only one left. I was escorted to sit on one of the couches in the store.

The shop doors were opened after ten to fifteen minutes, revealing more bodyguards and a flaming Mr. Casper. Everyone in the shop bowed, and he walked straight toward me. I stood up as soon as he arrived because I was tired of sitting, and since other people were bowing to him, I made it less awkward by standing up.

Are you all right? He asked as he gently touched my arm, which surprised me because it was the first time he had done so since the first night we met. He was both concerned and looking longingly at me. This made my heart spike a bit, but I got myself back to earth. Yes, yes, I am okay. I answered quickly to avoid any other awkwardness. He said, "Give me a minute, beautiful," which surprised me because he never said things like that, and my mind went okay. Mr. Casper, go ahead and make me fall for you already.

Mr. Casper finally approached me and took my hand in his after giving the cashier and shop manager a hard time. I rode back to the estate with him. He was still enraged, and I didn't want to provoke him any further, so I kept my mouth shut as if I did have anything to say after the eventful shopping session. I didn't want to make things difficult for myself. It's not that he could harm me or anything, but when people are angry, they frequently do and say things they later regret or even hurt other people's self-esteem. With this incredibly attractive man, I didn't want that to be the case.

King CasperIII's P.O.V

My blood was boiling by the time Mathew entered my study and handed me the phone after explaining the situation. My monster was eager to get out there and confront everyone who was disrespecting our mate, the audacity. I'm buying the shop and the brand of clothes in it, and you and your manager are fired. I told the stupid cashier, who started saying "sorry," one of the words I despise. I quickly ordered her to pass the phone to the shop manager, who tried to explain something I wasn't looking for.

I only wanted to deal with them and make them understand the crime they had committed. This can't go on. I don't care if the entire kingdom has to pay, but this will never happen again.

I decided to take matters into my own hands after picking up Zuwena from the mall. Before the lunatic bride arrives, I need to get Grandpa to meet my mate as soon as possible. I can't allow her to meet the crazy wanna-be bride because the council keeps pushing her crazy on me. When I arrived at my study, I dialed Memphis' number. She answered the phone and said, "Talk to me." I said, "I'm ready," and he hung up the phone.

As Miss Lydia entered my study, informing me of the arrival of all my trusted armies, I thought to myself, "Now it's time to get to work." Memphis came later. The war was on the horizon, and everything seemed fine, but before discussing any confidential information, traitors had to be punished. Memphis began calling their names, which they didn't recognize because they thought they hadn't been discovered. Matthew entered the room and began injecting liquid aluminum into each of them, rendering them completely paralyzed. I didn't want anything to indicate violence or make a noise while Zuwena was in the house. I cannot afford to be feared by my mate. After getting them in the basement, where all the tools were ready, my monster fought to take control.

I haven't reprimanded those who have crossed my path in a long time. I had almost forgotten about this side of myself. It has been kept at bay, but it is now time to showcase this side once more. I can not prove my weakness. I need to protect my mate and my kind. Let's get this party started. Memphis has joined me as we prepare to take action and quench our thirst. We are about to have a festival thanks to these traitors. So I gave my monster complete control as I turned around to see Memphis doing the same, and in one swift movement, we attracted our prey, charging into action as brothers for all eternity.
