If it was really just a ghost, then Duan wouldn't have run away. He was not so weak to run away because of a ghost. Also, if he had a fever, then with the help of the infirmary's doctors, he would have recovered in three days. There was no need to run away from the doctor.
'I shouldn't have left him alone in the first place…', Leo closed his eyes tightly as he regretted his decision of prioritizing the academics over his friend.
"Hey, did any of your teachers tell you about what happened to Duan?", Leo asked Fen and Shen, thinking that they might have asked some teachers and received any answers.
The both of them shrugged. "Not at all. We've asked them so many times that they have decided to pretend we weren't there."
Leo scratched his head. This mystery was getting more and more complicated.
"It's as if they are hiding something from us…", Leo brought this in front of his roommates.
Fen, who was doing his homework, paused for a moment. "Why do you say so?"
