The two boys who were on their knees stood up when Fred left.

"Did he really not bully you?" the senior asked.

Actually, he knew that Fred had been bullying them. However, he wanted to test these boys' bravery. He wanted to see if they could bring this matter in front of others – teachers.

"No, Senior Brother.", one of the boys said. They couldn't muster the courage to tell him the truth. After all, they didn't want Fred to come looking for them again.

"Are you sure?", the older boy asked again, wanting to confirm their words – basically giving them another Chence to be courageous.

"Yes."

The older boy sighed. It seemed like these boys weren't brave enough to ask for help.

"Okay. Then whatever happened doesn't concern me. Leave the room for a few minutes and get some fresh air…", he said in defeat. Hopefully, these boys would come around and be brave enough to tell him the truth.
