"All of their Beast Souls are just Low-Grade Farm type and none of Pet Type either…", one of the men who was analyzing said.
For the process of analysis, one had to put a drop of their blood on the small crystal sphere that was placed in a holder on a table.
The moment one would put a drop of their blood, the crystal would start to shine. Right after that, the person who put the blood needs to touch the crystal and close their eyes to concentrate.
When they do this, their consciousness would be transferred to their Soul Realm.
Soul Realm is a place where the Beast Soul resides.
After their consciousness enters the soul realm, one can see what kind of beast soul they have. Also, the moment they get to know their beast souls, it would then get integrated into the crystal ball.
Yes, a 3D projection of the Beast Soul would then be shown by the crystal ball and with the knowledge of the people that analyze it, one can know what type of beast soul the person has.
There are additional grades given to the branches of the beast souls.
Yes, the grades are – Low Level, Mid Level, High Level, and Supreme Level.
For example, if a person has a Bull Beast soul from the Farm type category, then it would be placed around the High-Level category. However, if a person were to have an Earthworm from the Farm Type category, then without a doubt, it would be low-level.
All the children that had come for the analysis were disappointed since all of their souls were either low-level or mid-level in the Farm Category. Not even one of them had from the pet category.
Of course, Leo's turn was yet to come.
Leo walked forward to get his analysis done when suddenly, the people standing there said, "It's time for our break."
"Go back kid, come back after some time."
The reason they told this was that Analyzing a beast's soul took a lot of time. A minimum of ten minutes to a maximum of an hour could be taken for an analysis to be done. Even they were humans, they were already tired after checking more than twenty kids at the same time.
How twenty kids? Of course, some kids from the nearby homes rushed to get their analysis done as well.
"But he is the last one…", Leko tried to convince the people.
"Sigh, we haven't had anything since the morning, let us have a small break at least.", one of them said.
"A-alright.", Leko replied.
He was anxious. He looked at Leo and then whispered, "You wait here, I will take the kids back to the orphanage and be back."
Leo nodded his head and just stood there under the sun. It was scorching hot but despite that, he didn't budge from the place.
The kids were making a fuss about eating because of which Leko took them back to the orphanage and now Leo was alone.
He just kept staring at the crystal ball which was somewhat shiny. Although it was completely white, it did look somewhat interesting to him.
His hands were trembling too as he thought, 'Until now, the beast souls that my friends got were some insects or hens or some cattle…'
*gulp*
'I wonder what I will be getting…', he clenched his fist in order to calm down and wait for Leko to arrive.
However, just after Leko left, one of the men got an idea. After looking at Leo, he asked his comrade, "Since he is the last one, can't we just go home after finishing his analysis?"
The remaining two were tired because they were the ones who did a lot of work in analyzing and recording the beast souls that the children got.
"Yeah? Why don't you do it then? I'm pretty tired…", one of the two who worked the longest said.
Actually, just adding blood on the crystal ball won't activate it. One had to pour some Beast Soul Power as well.
Since the kids hadn't even awakened, it was their job to do that. Although it shouldn't be much draining, they were literally tired.
"Alright.", the man who suggested got out of the small tent that was set and walked towards Leo.
He said, "Come, let's start your analysis."
"But, he hasn't come yet…", Leo tried to stay until Leko was back.
"No, if we wait, it will just be a waste of time."
"Let's just start with it quickly!", he said.
Leo, without arguing anymore, walked forward. As soon as the crystal lit up, he pricked his thumb with the needle provided and then poured a drop of his blood on the crystal which vanished as soon as it touched the surface.
Then Leo placed his right hand on top of the crystal and the moment he did that, suddenly his surroundings changed.
Yes, he just blinked once and his surroundings had changed. Everything around him was completely white and it seemed like it was empty. Yes, it was as if he had entered void!
But no, he could feel something weird – something calling out to him.
He turned back almost immediately based on his gut feeling only to find two orbs filled with energy floating.
One of them, which was red in color, slowly moved towards his right. Another, which was black in color, slowly moved towards his left.
'What are these things…?'
'Beast Souls…?', this was the first thing that came to his mind.
He wanted to approach them, but the two orbs were in the opposite directions.
He just took one step ahead when suddenly, red-colored and black colored chains appeared. The red-colored ones wrapped around his legs and the black colored wrapped around his waist!
"What the heck?"
'Where did these appear from?', he was confused and after some time, frustrated at the chains.
"Is this your doing…?"
"You are the only ones here so who else can do this?", Leo asked the orbs.
However, there was no reaction from them.
He then said, "I see, so you want me to come and get you? "
"Forget it."
"It's up to you to approach me, and not the other way round.", he said.
"I'm pretty much sure that a person is destined to be with a beast soul since he is born."
"You have no choice but to be with me, and here you're playing a prank…"
"If you do not approach me of your own will, I will just leave this realm, ultimately leaving you behind."
And the moment he did, the orbs started to vibrate. It was as if they were scared or something similar.
Yes, his speech did the work and the orbs approached him almost immediately.
