Who?

Grim went to turn around and was punched hard in the face by a black Ki layered fist that sent him flying…

He started to twist himself in the air before striking the wall he was on a collision course with but his movements felt slower than before.

With barely enough time left, he completed his twist and landed sloppily with his feet planted horizontally upon the wall using Ki to hold himself upright.

Looking up, he squinted at the large black claw that was speeding toward him.

With a swift jump to his left, he avoided it completely but was conflicted at what he saw.

The canyon wall he was standing on was completely devastated. The claw had dug deep into the rock, leaving behind a savage looking mark that looked as if it were caused by a giant monster.

'That claw was made entirely out of Ki. Not only that but if i had got hit by that just now, there is no telling how much damage that would have done.'

Turning his attention back on Reyes, he noticed that he hadn't moved a single step either.

Looking at Reyes with newfound respect, Grim was surprised to see that the black Ki now covered him completely from head to toe. There was no trace of visible skin from within the swirl of violence that wrapped him like a fire.

A burst of Energy and Ki erupted from Grim as he launched himself from the wall and landed behind Reyes.

'This guy's speed is crazy.'

Leezy, who hadn't moved from his spot just watched on.

Even though he had fought Grim earlier, this was the first time he actually witnessed his base speed.

To him, he couldn't even track his movements and only saw a blur for a split second.

…

Throwing his chain low, Grim spun his Kasurigama in his hand and swung it's blade at Reyes's neck.

Klang!

'What the…'

Surprise clouded his thoughts as he watched his blade forcibly slow down and careen off Reyes's armor-like Ki. The chain followed suit while Reyes slowly turned around to face him with black Ki resonating in his hands.

It was then he noticed that the whole time he was standing there, he was forming Ki orbs within his hands.

…

'Well thats new…'

Over at his vantage point, Leezy couldn't help but notice that the orbs within his brother's hands had changed. It was made up of two layers now.

The inside was dark orange with the outside comprised of the same black Ki that covered Reyes.

Before he could react, two black claws stretched out from Reyes's Ki and grabbed Grim's arms. With Grim held in place, Reyes pressed both of the orbs together and started fusing them.

While Reyes was busy, Grim struggled hard to get free from the claws that bound him. Even though he was using almost every bit of strength he had available, it felt he was barely making any headway.

"Raaaaaaaugh!"

Grim yelled aloud as he pushed the limits of his Ki, causing his aura to flare up around him and push the claws open to free himself.

Jumping high into the air to avoid being grabbed again, Grim looked down at Reyes. What he saw sent chills down his spine.

Reyes had managed to completely fuse the two orbs into one. It was now a basketball sized orb that pulsed violently, sending out visible waves of black and orange Ki from its center.

The Ki that resonated from it was so dense, the rocks and bone below his feet had been ground to dust. The ground itself began to crack, unable to withstand the pressure it was now under.

Raising his hands above his head Reyes took one look up at his target, cocked back and threw it.

Grim didn't expect the orb to reach him very quickly, but to his surprise it moved just as fast as he did earlier.

With little to no time to react, he twisted in the air to the side while using a bit of Ki to push him. A slight grin worked its way onto his face as Grim watched the Orb sail by, missing him by a hair.

His triumph was short lived though as the sound of a high pitched whining noise could be heard coming from the orb as bright orange and black sparkles suddenly appeared around it.

Without warning, the orb exploded right behind him in a vacuum storm of black and orange flame-like Ki.

Unable to fully transform again, Grim tried his best to surround his body with Ki to protect himself but it barely did anything.

Leezy didn't have any words for what he was witnessing. He couldn't see what was happening to Grim within the swirling vacuum above, but the sheer force the orb exploded with pretty much summed up everything he needed to know.

Being further away, he watched as the shockwave alone had cleared out the entire valley. Not only that, he could feel the raw energy and the heat from where he was standing too.

'I know that has got to hurt…'

His thoughts were confirmed when he finally heard Grim yell out in pain.

Looking over at his brother, he was shocked to see that there was a drastic change happening to him.

Reyes was upon his knees with his head tilted back toward the sky above as the Ki that covered him head to toe was in the process of changing.

A tail had started to form and two medium sized lumps appeared along his back. Small golden black orbs hovered all around him throughout the air, seemingly stemming from the cracks in the ground below.

"Reyes!"

Seeing what was happening, Leezy called out to him. When his brother turned his head toward him though, he was completely taken aback.

Two orange demonic eyes stared back at him from within the black Ki that completely covered his brothers face.

After a few seconds of silence, a voice spoke out and said something that left him utterly speechless.

"MY NAME IS NOT REYES!!!"
