Further away from the city, three men were surrounding a man fully clad head to toe in a full suit of armor…

The armor he wore shone bright silver and looked thick. Every single part of his body was covered and no trace of skin was visible. His helmet was shaped similar to that of a demon with a single horn rising from each side. Both of them would have curved horizontally toward the sky had one of the horns not been broken off.

His weapon was a greatsword that was longer than his torso and riddled with serrated edges. It had a golden cross-guard with a pommel shaped like the head of a wolf. Stuck in its jaws was a beautiful dark blue sapphire.

The sword sat horizontally across his shoulders, his big arms casually wrapped around the blade as he stood there staring at the three men surrounding him through the small slits in his helmet.

His brown eyes squinted within the heat and bright sunlight beaming down on him from overhead.

The three men before him all had scimitars and arabian garb that covered them from head to toe.

Looking at each other, they nodded and all disappeared from sight simultaneously.

"So you think this little bitch ass trick is going to work on an OG like me?"

The man in armor scoffed, shrugging off the weight of his sword and casually shoving the blade its blade into the sand. Standing there with his arms crossed, he continued staring at the location the three men were standing in before they vanished.

Suddenly, he unfolded his arms and opened his hand. At that moment, sparks flew as his gauntlet wrapped around something invisible. A wave of energy came from the man, kicking up sand around all around him.

The three men that were invisible before were now completely vulnerable as sand outlined their bodies. With a twitch of his hand, he snapped the now visible scimitar like a twig. He then promptly punched the man who was wielding it directly in the gut.

"Blergh!"

The man was sent flying through the sand dunes, heaving up more and more blood as he burst through them, a deep imprint of the punch that was delivered visible on his stomach.

The remaining two men synchronized their attack in reaction to their comrade being sent flying. One swooped low to attack the man's legs while the other swung at the mans head.

Thinking their scimitars were about to connect with their targets, they were shocked when the blades stopped a few inches away from the man's armor.

Sparks flew as the swords scraped against a thin blue outline that flowed naturally around the man.

"Thats a damn shame, both of you can't even pierce through my aura. Yall are softer than a roll of Charmin Ultra."

Boom! Boom!

Both of them were sent flying in the same manner as the first, heaving up liters of blood as they soared through the air.

They even ended up landing right beside their comrade after descending into the sand. Their organs were all completely ruptured with broken ribs showing through their garments. They looked pitiful laying there coughing up the blood, the light slowly leaving their eyes as they died.

Gathering energy into his legs, the man in armor crouched low. His armor glowed as blue lightning coursed up and down his body. Grunting slightly, he propelled himself into the air.

With a shockwave, he landed infront of the three men he killed, causing a small crater in the sand. Holding his hand above the bodies, they all were turned into Grey Soul Gems and absorbed.

"They didn't know who they decided to fuck with. Someone should've told em Leezy the OG don't play that weak shit. I at least hoped they would entertain me some more."

Shaking his head, Leezy gathered energy into his legs again and launched himself through the air, headed toward the city a few miles to his left.

.....

Back in the bar, Reyes woke with a sweat…

Ever since he was a kid, he had been having the same exact nightmare from time to time. It was of a shadowy being restraining his body with some strange power that was completely foreign to him.

Whoever it was beckoned to him with clawed hands saying that godlike power could be his if he forked over his soul. Shuddering, he reached over and finished off his water.

Sitting up, he looked around the bar and noticed it was mostly empty. The bartender, noticing he was now awake, made her way over to him.

"Hey sleepy head, sleep well?"

"….."

"Okaay…well i was thinking maybe i could ask you to do a favor for me, I'll definitely make it worth your while."

"Depends on what it is and what i'll be getting out of it."

"Let's just say there are ruins a few miles east of here that my little sister wandered into. The men occupying it are currently holding her hostage. I know about some treasure that resides there and if you agree to rescue her for me, i will tell you where to look."

After a moment of quiet thought, Reyes suddenly leaned forward pushing his face so close to her's that she could feel his breath.

"I will go to these ruins and bring your precious sister back for you. I expect you to compensate me with creds when i return on top of that information."

A look of disappointment briefly flashed over the bartender's face, albeit just for a moment. With a nod, she reached out a hand to Reyes.

"Deal, oh and by the way…my name is Rachel."

Taking her hand, Reyes shook it while standing up from his seat. Leaning close to him, she whispered the details of the treasure's location.

Without needing to hear anything more, he quickly walked through the door of the bar and left without looking back.

'Hmph, that guy is pretty cute, it's a shame he is a bit of a dick. Still though, i feel like i could get him to open up to me eventually. Hopefully he doesn't die going up against those assholes who have my little sister.'

Thinking to herself, Rachel sighed and walked back to the bar to serve more drinks.
