Chapter one Kiara

As I opened my eyes, I saw my bedside window is fully open. The cold wind coming so harshly, I started to shiver. I'm feeling the urge to close the window and sleep a bit longer, but I am so tired to even move or maybe I am so scared to move and close the window. I grabbed my mom's phone silently from under the pillow and took it with me inside the blanket.

'' Damn it's only 6 in the morning ''.

As I said it too loudly, I grabbed my mouth with my both hands and because of that the phone fell on my nose so badly, I thought I broke it.

''It's not a good start''.

So I set the alarm for 8 am and then slowly put the phone back, right in the place, where it was before. Then I carefully came outside of the blanket to see if my mom is sleeping or not. She is sleeping pretty soundly.

''Huh, what a relief ''

There's no shadow on the ceiling. A little bit of morning light coming inside through the window but why there's no shadow?

Trying so hard to find the answer but I can't. My mind is so numb to think.

Suddenly so many people, are mainly male. they came to the window and stared at me. I am staring back. I am looking at all of them but they are only looking at me. So unfair! Now they are done with watching me. Now they want to grab me. They are struggling. They are trying so hard to touch me.

''Don't touch me, don't touch me, don't touch me, d-d-don…''

''Bitch, wake up. It's 10 in the morning. Don't you have school today? Wake up.'' Shawn said it with a grin on his face.

Shawn is my elder brother. Shawn Carter. He lives in Texas alone for the last 4 years. He is a senior high schooler and the most annoying breed in the whole world. He looks like a jerk but is a pretty decent man. Only loves his family, is A class student, is socially awkward, has a small group of friends and his only job is to annoy me when he came home on the vacation in California.

''You know what, you look like a Ummm something in the morning''. He is grinning so much, it feels like his teeth gonna fall any moment.

''Look like what?''

''A dead, ugly clown. You just need the red ball on your nose''

I looked at him, but I can't tell if I should feel entertained or annoyed. He is standing next to my feet and looking around like it's his first time coming to my room. I started to search for my glasses to see the wall clock. I usually keep my glasses beside my head cause that's the first thing I need when I wake up. Practically am blind without these round-shaped glasses. My school starts at 8 if it's 10 am now then am dead.

I am searching for my glasses all around but it nowhere to be found, it is making me so angry. Shawn laughed a real laugh at this moment which added more fuel to my anger.

''Where is my fucking glasses, Shawn''

''You blind or what? ''

''That's none of your business, give it back ''

''Fineeeee… take it but stop shouting ''

He gave it back with a devilish grin and walk away. I desperately wore my glasses to see the time, it was 7.55, 5 min earlier than the alarm but it is fucking holiday.

''Ughhhh, I want to sleep more but this guyyyyyy.''

Holiday, I love holidays. It's the only day I feel like I can pass a day without thinking about how to die. Dying is a really funny word and it's the most fun word for me, I think I am the only one who uses this word the most, and also the one who thinks about dying the most in this whole world. but it's an irony that people who don't want to die, die at a very unexpected moment but people like me who want to die every day, don't even have single harm in a day.

I got down from the bed pretty normally . As soon as I stood up...

''You okay, Kiara? YOU HEAR ME ?''

'' OUCH , where am I?''

''In your room bitch, you made me worried as fuck .''

Shawn is looking really worried and sweating badly. He is all wet .

''Is your head okay?''

''No, it's hurting so bad.''

''Wait, I am putting some ice on there.''

He goes to the dining room running.

''Huh, this guy loves me So much.''

I am smiling in this weird situation, I can't even say abnormal or normal situation cause I don't even know what is the actual situation.While smiling I noticed a cut on my lips.

''Wooo, hurts real bad huh? ''
