Forsaken Beast

In the darkness of the night, the peaceful tranquility enveloped the green forest, creating a serene and beautiful view.

Beneath the woods, something was silently moving through, disturbing the serenity. It pushed away the trees, trembling the earth in the most subtle way.

The other beasts that encountered it immediately tried to escape as far as possible out of fear and terror.

The creature that was causing all this — an animal that was at least 4 meters long, with a scaly body, and walked on its four legs — did not pay any heed to the creature that ran away. Its attention was focused on something else.

It flicked its forked tongue for a moment and then crawled in a certain direction without hesitation. Its pupils which could barely see its surrounding reflected a resolute look.

Whatever the monster was searching for, it was determined to find it, at all costs.
