Chapter 14: surprise waifu attack

Thanks to a specially made carriage prepared by the dean, the travel took three weeks instead of a month. Seeing the familiar round village in the distance made the two siblings very emotional. The year they spent at spirit academy, while not nightmarish was quite rich in disillusions. Jumping off the carriage at the entrance of the village, they ran to their home, hoping to see their nanny waiting for them.

All the villagers they passed by tried to call out to them since they were literally the rising stars of the village but they didn't pay attention. Once in front of their home, they noticed that the door was open and that noise was coming from it. Seeing this, they rushed in but as Feng, who was in front, was about to pass by the door, he bumped into someone.

That someone fell rather heavily on the floor, contrarily to Feng who just staggered. His ever-growing weight was no joke as he was already more than a hundred kilograms, though, he still had a small, inconspicuous stature.

The person who fell was someone Feng didn't know personally but still remembered seeing somewhere. As the memories were coming back up, the person stood up while glaring at Feng. It was a girl, blond and golden-eyed, with a pronounced scar at her neck. It was the supposedly new lab rat of Ti Cang city's spirit hall members.

Finally remembering her, Feng was too stunned to say anything but Beibei just behind spoke (screamed) first " Who are you?! And what are you doing in our house?! "

" Tsk, I return the question to you, who are you and what are you barging in MY house for? "

" What?! Your house?! This is obviously ours! You thief, you robbed our house and are so shameless that you even claim it to be yours! " Beibei would, of course, react like that as he was quite attached to it for obvious reasons.

As anger was building up in both youths, the nanny, who was in the house preparing dinner burst out of the house and scooped Beibei and Feng, pulling them in a tight hug. Surprised at first then greatly relieved and emotional, the twins embraced their nanny for a long while.
