The gentle evening breeze caressed the surroundings as the sun made its final struggle, casting a red glow across the sky. Xiao Wu's eyes were captivated by the magnificent scene of the setting sun accompanied by a sky filled with red clouds. However, amidst this breathtaking beauty, Xiao Wu couldn't hide her shock and disbelief.
"No... Just leave like this?" she blurted out in surprise, her voice breaking the silence. Xiao Wu never expected their escape to go so smoothly.
According to her naive thinking, even if they didn't fight, it would surely be an unpleasant ordeal. How could it be this easy to get away now?
"What else? Do you want to leave something behind before we go?" Lu Yuan retorted with a hint of mockery in his eyes. He reached out and playfully tapped Xiao Wu's head, criticizing her with disdain.
"As I said before, you belong to me. You have to ask for my permission. Understand?"
"I don't know!" Xiao Wu pouted angrily and responded with defiance.
"You don't know?" Lu Yuan's words carried a slight smile as he lowered his head seriously, inching closer to Xiao Wu's face and staring into her beautiful eyes.
"You truly don't understand?" he asked.
"I got it! I got it! I understand, okay?" Xiao Wu hurriedly replied, a sense of urgency and panic in her voice. She almost bit her tongue from answering too quickly.
To be honest, the moment the villain lowered his head, Xiao Wu had already guessed what he intended to do. In an instant, she figured out how she should respond. Therefore, this answer blurted out without hesitation. In order to avoid immediate harm, Xiao Wu decided to be more submissive.
But this time, it exceeded her expectations. The villain in front of her didn't raise his head due to her compliance, but continued to gaze into her eyes with utmost seriousness. It felt as if he could peer into her soul through her eyes.
Startled by her own thoughts, Xiao Wu instinctively averted her gaze, trying to avoid the villain's eyes. However, Lu Yuan firmly held her, preventing her from evading his gaze.
Forced to meet the villain's eyes, Xiao Wu's face flushed slightly. Her heart started beating faster, causing panic to well up within her. She felt a warmth spreading throughout her body, accompanied by dizziness and a sense of powerlessness rushing to her head.
"Well..." a delicate sound slipped out unconsciously. Her remaining rationality warned her that this couldn't continue.
Summoning her last bit of strength, Xiao Wu struggled to raise her hand and block the mesmerizing pair of black pupils, interrupting the intense eye contact.
"Don't look at me. I was wrong, You're right" Xiao Wu pleaded, her voice carrying a hint of desperation.
Weak and breathless, her heart still racing, Xiao Wu experienced a peculiar sensation she had never felt before. She was genuinely frightened.
After a moment, Xiao Wu heard the villain opposite her inquire, "Do you truly realize you were wrong?"
"I know I was wrong! I really know!" Xiao Wu quickly responded. Though her racing heart hadn't completely calmed down, she could finally catch her breath.
Unfortunately, in her flustered state, Xiao Wu failed to detect the abnormality in Lu Yuan's tone. Had she noticed, she would never have further incited him with such a coquettish tone.
Suddenly, a scream echoed through the air, startling the birds in the nearby forest. Xiao Wu struggled vigorously, but against Lu Yuan's overwhelming strength, her resistance was more akin to acting cute and had no effect whatsoever.
Seemingly stimulated by her struggle, Lu Yuan's breathing grew heavier, and his grip tightened as he enveloped Xiao Wu in his arms.
Like a soft and boneless rabbit, Xiao Wu's body was incredibly elastic, no matter how much force he exerted. The innate desire within his dragon blood was instantly aroused.
The dragon blood possessed various instinctive desires. In addition to a desire for destruction and greed for wealth, there was another instinctive desire that couldn't be ignored: the desire to conquer.
Though this desire may sound serious, it is indeed quite unrestrained in nature. Lu Yuan took a deep breath, trying to suppress it.
Opening the eye on his forehead, he employed his powerful spatial force to forcefully suppress his instincts. However, this was only a temporary solution.
Loosening his grip slightly, allowing Xiao Wu, who was nearly suffocated, to catch her breath, Lu Yuan observed the automatic activation of his body's instinctive characteristics. He scolded himself by slapping his own face.
Why was his body behaving this way at such an inappropriate time? Couldn't he see that Xiao Wu had found a place to sit?
His instincts were retreating on the battlefield, but with the aid of spatial power, he managed to maintain a precarious advantage. If he lost this advantage, the outcome would be almost inevitable.
Exercising his last ounce of reason, Lu Yuan made a helpless decision: he entered the small world.
Using the Cold Spring of the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Eye to suppress his bodily instincts, Lu Yuan attempted to turn the tide. Though he didn't know if this gambit would be successful, he had to try. After all, could a lone warrior really turn the tide?
"Hold your breath! Concentrate!" His voice trembled involuntarily, sounding hoarse and distorted.
"What?" Before Xiao Wu could finish her question, she was engulfed by the sudden appearance of a spatial vortex. And so was Lu Yuan.
The evening breeze remained gentle, but no one noticed that a pair of teenager had disappeared from Shrek Academy.
Even the four titled Douluo present, whether visible or hidden, remained oblivious to their departure.
