Even mentioning key phrases or names like "Road of Destiny" or the name she'd cried out in desperation was out of the question. She believed that if she did, Lu Yuan would understand instantly. Why could she connect with that person with the assistance of Lu Yuan's destiny.

After all, she hadn't even embarked on the main path yet. And why did she receive a response from that person when she'd called out their name in despair?

Of course, Gu Yuena knew that the person she'd sensed couldn't possibly be the boy before her. The gap in strength was immense. However, in the future, nothing was certain.

Though the conditions might seem stringent, they were easier than they appeared.

Hence, the only thing to consider was whether these offerings could aid her. Her original goal had been to harness human luck, and now this new method, while disruptive, might work. She needed to reevaluate her plans.

"However, before I think and research further, there's something more important."

The thoughts of the young girl with a soul as pure as crystal turned subtly.

Though she didn't say much, the moment her purple eyes shifted, the elemental forces within the independent space surged. A deluge of elemental power, controlled by Gu Yuena, rushed into Lu Yuan's body.

"Stay still."

At some point, the girl materialized in front of Lu Yuan, her slender fingers resting on his chest, directly over his heart. As she admonished him, a silver radiance emanated from her fingertips, piercing his heart with lightning speed, leaving him no time to react.

Hot blood dripped to the ground, generating white vapors.

Before the sensation of powerlessness could set in, a torrent of elemental energy poured in through the newly created opening. Lu Yuan was subjected to various sensations—cold, heat, pressure, sharpness, even swelling—a range of pain that made him feel dizzy.

It wasn't related to spiritual will, but rather his body's instinctive response.

As she manipulated the elemental forces to assess the strength of his heart, the girl's clear purple eyes briefly glanced over the steaming blood on the ground. With a slight raise of her jade wrist, the blood was swept away. Blood was often the finest material for creating dependents, especially when it came from the source.

Nonetheless, as precious as that blood was, it was still inferior to hers. Her own blood was unmatched, especially the blood that had condensed from the essence of flesh and the Ice Fire Dragon King.

Seeing that the human boy before her hadn't lost consciousness yet, Gu Yuena couldn't help but admire his mental tenacity. However, she knew he would eventually succumb.

After all, humans had an inherent upper limit at the same level, incomparable to giants like dragons. Unless one harnessed the power of faith to transform...

And even if he didn't faint, the coming steps would be challenging for him.

Her purple eyes dimmed slightly, indicating some sort of internal struggle. Gu Yuena struck Lu Yuan, successfully rendering him unconscious. She then gently lifted her jade finger, ruthlessly stabbing her own heart.

Her movements were fluid, utterly devoid of hesitation. Blood, resembling quicksilver and magma, flowed out and was promptly caught by the expressionless Gu Yuena. Swiftly, it poured into Lu Yuan's heart.

The power of the elements, sensing the authority at play, ceased their somewhat chaotic behavior and joined forces to mend Lu Yuan's shattered heart.

Coughing up a mouthful of blood, Gu Yuena casually wiped away the crimson from the corner of her mouth. The elements representing life—the wood and water elements—rushed in, healing the wound on her heart at a visibly rapid pace.

Yet, Gu Yuena's complexion suddenly paled out of thin air. Attempting to expel her own vitality when it was severely depleted—there was one suitable phrase to describe such an act: "hastening one's own demise." Could she be the first pure-blood dragon to display such craziness throughout history?

She couldn't help but chuckle at her own recklessness. Still, in this instance, her laughter was atypical. She gazed quietly at the unconscious human teenager sprawled on the ground.

After a while, her voice grew so soft that it was nearly inaudible. This time, the tone of the Silver Dragon King Gu Yuena bore a hint of playfulness, a facet unseen before.

"You owe both Dragon Kings of our clan. However, it seems you've once again saved me and paid off your debt. But to think you could avoid owing me anything further by staying with us—how naive."

"That's just perfect."

"Going in circles, you're still indebted to me."

"But..."

"A bond, isn't that something you owe each other to attain?"

Speaking these words, she couldn't help but smile, though no one was there to admire the picturesque scene. Stopping herself, she sighed inwardly, then stood up, her body trembling slightly. Yet, she soon steadied herself.

"Di Tian."

Ancient, resonant dragon words escaped her lips.

Di Tian, who had been silent not far away, suddenly opened his eyes. Simultaneously, another beautiful woman with black hair raised her head in surprise. Although it was but a brief moment, several beasts of varying kinds noted the difference between them.

"The Lord is calling."

In an instant, Di Tian vanished, leaving behind a lingering statement. Hearing this, the drowsy Xiao Wu immediately perked up. Likewise, the three-eyed golden lion, previously idling nearby, became excited.

Observing these two small creatures, Bi Ji couldn't help but shake her head wryly.

It's all over. The Emperor Auspicious Beast is genuinely excited this time.

Women are always more prudent than men. Consequently, Brigitte paid careful attention to the three-eyed golden lion for a prolonged period. Eventually, she discerned some clues. Unfortunately, within the inner circle, she and Ziji were the only women. Ziji, however, had a fiery temperament.

Quietly grumbling about Ziji's unreliability, Bi Ji pondered quietly. When should she bring this matter up with Di Tian? The three-eyed golden lion is still young and doesn't comprehend. Regardless, they need to consider this step ahead of time, just in case.
