Chapter 10: Heavenly Heptad Saints
Tang San leaned on Xiao Wu. Xiao Wu seeing Tang San's face getting closer, closed her eyes. Their are about to touch each other, when suddenly they heard a music. Not the kind of music that is romantic, but the kind that feels like the string is about to snap.
Tang San is startled awake and looked at the source of the music. It's his brother.
His brother, Yaoyao is still playing his spirit but now in an awkward tone. His brother can't even look at him in the eye.
"Ahumm." Tang San coughs, face red, realising what he's about to do.
Xiao Wu, also red face, glared at Yaoyao while thinking.
'Hmmmpp. You'll regret this.'
"Ahmm, we're in public." Tang Jiyao instantly explained, seeing Xiao Wu's expression.
"Hmmpp, be thankful you're San Ge's brother, or else. Hmmp!" Xiao Wu said while still glaring at Tang Jiyao.
Tang San seeing Xiao Wu's anger, and hearing Tang Jiyao's explaination turned even redder.
Ma Hongjun, Oscar just laughed at Tang Jiyao's predicament.
While the girls just smiled teasingly at the two.
"Why you interrupt them? Now you've got Fifth Sister's ire." Ma Hongjun laughed then put his arms over Tang Jiyao's shoulder, clearly comfortable with his third brother's twin brother.
"Right, right... You shouldn't do that, let your brother have his kiss." Hao Min said teasingly, sporting a shit-eating grin.
"Ahh..." Tang Jiyao just mumbled, not knowing how to answer.
Suddenly the Supreme Pontiff, Bibi Dong snorted loudly breaking the Shrek Seven Monster and the Trios banter.
"Hmmmpp!" Bibi Dong snorted.
"Those who try to stop me from attacking that beast shall encure the wrath of the whole Spirit Hall." Bibi Dong said, angry at being questioned said.
The Shrek Seven Monsters instantly surrounded Xiao Wu protecting her from harm.
"You guys..." Xiao Wu said doubtly.
"The Shrek Seven Monsters are one!" Dai Mubai said loudly.
"Boss..." Xiao Wu mumbled.
"You'll have to step at my corpse first before you can hurt Fifth Sister." Ma Hongjun declared, transforming into his handsome form.
"The Shrek are one!" The remaining monsters shouted.
"Hmmpp! Then die!" The Supreme Pontiff said then signal the two Titled Douluo to attack.
The two Titled Douluo rash towards the seven monsters, but before they manage to reach them, they got thrown back.
"I'd like to see you try!" Tang Hao said, with his spirit out, then summon his spirit rings.
The crowd is shock to see Tang Hao's sprit rings as it contain a red one.
100,000 years old spirit ring!
"Tang Hao!!!" Bibi Dong shouted.
"We all know that if we battled here, that spirit hall that you all are so proud will crumble right?" Tang Hao said.
Bibi Dong realising this, calm down her breathing and analyse things.
"Leave." Bibi Dong said with gritted teeth. "In due time, we'll meet again, and that time, I will not let you go."
"Sorry, I have a wife." Tang Hao said proudly, clearly provoking the Supreme Pontiff
"Hmmmpp!" Bibi Dong snorted, then summon her spirit rings.
The crowd is shock again to see a red spirit ring.
Tang Hao just left with the trio and two of the seven monsters, Tang San and Xiao Wu.
"What about my comrades, father?" Tang San questioned, obviously worried.
"Hmmmpp, do you really think that they will kill innocent kids in front of many people? They're not ready yet." Tang Hao said.
"You better sleep." Tang Hao said while knocking Tang San's neck, making him faint.
"Why you knock brother out, dad?" Tang Jiyao questioned.
"I had to." Tang Hao just said.
At this time they've manage to arrive at a forest. Tang Hao then turned around to face Xiao Wu.
"You need to go, I'm sure you have some friends who can protect you at your home." Tang Hao said while pertaining to the Great Star Dou Forest.
"Why? Are you against our relationship?" Xiao Wu asked weakly. "Is it because I'm a transformed beast?" Xiao Wu continued.
"No and Yes. I'm not against your relationship, Yes, as your a transformed beast there will be individuals who will try to kill you, but with my son's current power, he can't protect you from others who are coveting you." Tang Hao said gently, remebering his own weakness.
"I understand." Xiao Wu said weakly, seeing the point in Tang Hao's words. "I'll go."
Xiao Wu's about to run but Tang Jiyao stop her.
"Here." Tang Jiyao said, while giving Xiao Wu a necklace.
This necklace seems to contains a crystal pendant. This pendant seems to be surrounded by various elements, as sometimes its give the aura of light, the aura of fire, the aura of water, the aura of storm.
"This is my current comprehension towards the elements, it's on you if you want to use it, and here." Tang Jiyao explained then give her a book.
"This is a book about a cultivation technique, it will boost your attack, and learn more about yourself." Tang Jiyao explained the book that have a titled ' Guide to Intent, by: Tang Jiyao. One of the Heptad Saints.
Xiao Wu read the title then exclaimed.
'Heptad Saints? That seven? But... wait... Unique spirit rings? Can block an attack from two Titled Douluo?'
"No way! You three are part of the Heptad Saints?" Xiao Wu exclaimed, remembering the uniqueness of these trio's spirit rings.
Xiao Wu is pretty shock to learn that his future brother in-law is part of the Heptad Saints.
The Heavenly Heptad Saints is a legend throughtout the Douluo Continent. They were believe to be sent by God to help the ordinary people.
They were a group of seven masked individual who despite being of low-rank, helped common folks and spirit master alike.
At first only the common folks called them saints as wherever path they would take, the people in that area would have there lives more prosperous.
There land became more furtile, the children manage to awaken spirit power, they even protect the common people from disasters, whether it be natural or man-made. For example flood, storm, diseases, murder, pillaging.
The spirit master just ignore this, as they know that with a certain power even they could do it. But the spirit master that have seen them said that those seven have a unique spirit rings.
The seven are shrouded in mystery as they have different but the same uniqueness in their spirit rings.
Spirit Hall, learning of the their uniqueness tried to recruit them, wanting to learn the mystery about them, and want to use the seven's influence to gain more members.
The Heavenly Heptad Saints refuses the Spirit Hall offer, saying that they prefer to not be tied down by any organization.
They prefer to travel, learn, and help more people.
Spirit Master, while powerful, is very rare. Being a Spirit Master means having the most noble job in the whole world.
Only 1 in 10,000 have a spirit power. So spirit master is pretty rare in comparison to the common folk.
So when the other villagers heard that there's a group of spirit master who not only help and protect them but also increase their children's chances in becoming a spirit master, they started to call them saints.
To the villages the saints have visited, all the children will awaken a spirit power albeit some only have a level 1, but for the common folk it is enough, as they have a chance to be a spirit master.
The common folk spread this all, making other villagers to wait for the saints to bless thier villages.
This did alert the spirit masters as even the most powerful, Titled Douluo, didn't have the power to make all children awaken spirit power.
Spirit Hall, hearing of this became more intrigued, sending a messenger of three Spirit Douluo and one level-91th Titled Douluo.
The messengers heard that the saints location is in a small city.
The witnesses only saw as the messenger from the Spirit Hall attack the saints, but the saints manage to deflect and force the messenger outside the city.
The witnesses only saw flashes of attack as they are to far from the battle.
Not long, the saints came back without any obvious injuries, just some bruises.
After that the whole Douluo Continent acknowlegde the mysterious but powerful saints.
They not only defeated 3 Spirit Douluo but also a Titled Douluo at the same time, at that of the rank of Spirit Ancestor.
The common folks and the spirit master named them, Heavenly Heptad Saints.
With the saints name, having there characteristics:
-Deterrent Saint: Saint of Preventative
-Crush Saintess: Saintess of Ruination
-Annihilation Saint: Saint of Extermination
-Harmony Saint: Saint of Serenity
-Warp Saint: Saint of Alacritous
-Hover Saintess: Saintess of Freedom
-Nutriment Saint: Saint of Supplementation
These seven have earn the recognition of the whole Douluo Continent.
The Spirit Hall was enraged to not only lose 3 Spirit Douluo but also a Titled Douluo.
The Spirit Hall wanted revenge but can't afford to lose another powerhouse so they decided to make the saints their second target, after there plan to exterminate the Three Great Upper Sects of the Heaven Dou Empire.
