8 Chapter 8:Foundation Ginseng

Upon opening the box, the inside of the box look ordinary. The inside of the box was also made of wood except a small blanket was placed at the bottom of the box. The blanket won't fall out no matter how hard Wang Li shake the wooden box. Some people might just think it's perfect fit to the bottom of the box so it won't fall out. The same can't be said to Wang Li.
The blanket was red in colour and feel soft when touched. However, Wang Li can vaguely see a formation or array that are carve on the blanket. He try to focus on the array and was shocked to see the same formation with the box he obtained this morning. He summon out the wooden box from this morning to compare the similarity of the array.
After comparing, Wang Li discover the array on the wooden box that he bought from the old man was simpler. It did not have the function to autonomously absorb Spirit Power from surrounding. It can only absorb Spirit Power when someone directly infuse the formation with Spirit Power.
After confirming this truth, Wang Li infuse the Spirit Power to the wooden box. It only take a few second for the bottom of the box to pulled up. Wang Li pull up the bottom of the box and discover the inside was covered with thin layer of jade. Inside the blanket cover was a ginseng. More precisely, it's Foundation Ginseng. The inside was covered with jade so that the ginseng won't wither away.
'Haisss, unfortunately I can't use it, this thing is suitable for Rank 29 and below. If Rank 30 and above consume the ginseng, the effect is negligible. By the time Tang San can refine this ginseng, I will be above Rank 30 already.' thought Wang Li.
Foundation Ginseng is a ginseng that are commonly sought by commoner Soul Master or other Soul Master that have low talent. Usually, Soul Master will encounter a few major bottleneck in their lifetime of cultivation that will directly change their combat prowess.
The first bottleneck is the break through of Rank 30. Most Soul Master that was awaken with Innate Spirit Power Rank 2 and below was almost destined to not break through Rank 29 and reach Rank 30. The younger you are when you reach Rank 30, the more talented you will be. While the second bottleneck is Rank 70 which allow a person to use Martial Soul True Body.
That is why, most low talent Soul Master will sought this ginseng as it can help Soul Master break through Rank 30. It was still considered a high grade herb though barely reaching at the last place in the ranking of high grade herb. This ginseng can not only help Soul Master break through their first bottleneck, it can also help to increase their physique and natural body regeneration. The effect was not much, though still exist. Wang Li get this information from God as most low level Soul Master with low talent knew this.
'Hmmmmm, it can be used to refine a few pellet if refined with other type of herbs. With it, a few people can consume it instead of 1 people. I should keep it for now and give to Tang San to refine when he have enough Spirit Power. This ginseng is pretty good as it does not have any side effect. It even slightly strengthen the foundation.' thought Wang Li when he tried to remember the benefit of the ginseng.
'It was just quite rare as it was constantly sought out by low level Soul Master as well as other low ranking noble family. The higher ranking noble don't really bother to find this ginseng as they have enough talent to make up for it.' thought Wang Li as he feel amused with the noble decision to not use herb to advance cultivation.
'In Soul Land, most Soul Master don't use herbs to advance cultivation as they think it's not good to Soul Master later cultivation stages. The benefit of herbs was just too much too ignore in my opinion. Whether it's healing, cultivating, and bottleneck can be advance faster with the help of herbs.' thought Wang Li.

After thinking for awhile, Wang Li cover the ginseng with the blanket cover and close the wooden box. He stored it in his ring and lay down on his bed. He decided to take a quick nap for 1 hour. He sleep peacefully for the 1 hour of nap as this is the best day he have encountered since he arrived here 2 years ago.
Wang Li usually take a nap for 1 hour to recover from the exhaustion of training in the morning.

Wang Li wakes up and went out of the room. He walk to the kitchen and start to cook dinner. It was a lavish dinner. He ate it with great appetite as the ingredient he use to cook was different compare to the past meal. After dinner, he clean up and get ready for night cultivation.
Now it's 8 pm and Wang Li is getting ready to cultivate his Infinity Manual. He usually cultivate it at night as he feel more peaceful during night time which is the reason his advances on Infinity Manual was superior than Heavenly Attribute Manual and Yin Yang Manual.
His mental power was now comparable to Spirit Elder peak. Part of the reason was because of his mental state when cultivating Infinity and another reason is he spend more time in cultivating Infinity Manual compare to other manual. His only weakness is mental ability so he specifically train more in it.
He only train Heavenly Attribute Manual for around 5 hours, Yin Yang Manual 2 hours and Infinity Manual around 6 hours a day. Today was consider a less training day as he have a lot of things to do. That is why the cultivation time today was less compare to other days.
The demand in mental power was not as strict as Heavenly Attribute Manual so he can advance at a faster speed compare to Heavenly Attribute Manual.
He sat cross legged at the floor and empty his mind to start his mind cultivation. The Infinity Manual was not hard. In fact, it is the easiest among the 3 heaven defying manual he has. Only need to empty mind and complete calmness to cultivate. It is easy to him as the Heavenly Physique made it easy for him to enter deep meditation. If changed to others, they need years before succeeding.
After 4 hour of mind cultivation, Wang Li open his eyes and get ready to cultivate Yin Qi. He went out of his house and jump to his roof to cultivate. Unlike Yang Qi from sunlight, Yin Qi from moonlight does not have more Yin Qi the nearer he is toward the moon. So he only cultivate at his roof.
He start by sitting cross legged again and absorb Yin Qi from moonlight. It was the same as the usual body cultivation. After he balanced out the Yang Qi he absorbed in the afternoon using Yin Qi, he went back inside the house and straight to his bedroom to sleep. Ending his luckiest day in this 2 years.
