Chapter 3:2Years Later

Holy Soul Village

On a rainy day at the village, all villagers have taken refuge inside the house. Suddenly, a lightning strike at the front door of a wooden house. The wind start to rise and the heaven and earth vitality in the atmosphere start to gather at the place the lightning has struck. The place that have been struck by lightning, appeared a kid that look like 3 years old lying at the front of the door. Appeared to be unconscious.

Not long after, the rain stop and the cloud dissipate to reveal the bright sunlight. An old man walk out from the house that have been strike by lightning. He saw a kid lying down in his front door. He immediately summon his neighbour to pick the kid up and put the child inside his house.

Grandpa Jack:Why is this kid here? Is he abandoned by his parent? Sighh, this kid appear to be 2 or 3 years old. Hopefully this kid can remember something.

At the same time, a man wearing a black cloak with a child in the hand walk into a wooden house. The man fold his hood back to reveal a face that are rigorous and tired as if haven't been cleaned for months. The wooden house has 2 floor and filled with things related to blacksmith. The man walk to the room and put the child at the wooden bed and said

Tang Hao:Xiao San, father is a waste. Can't even protect his loved one. I hope you don't blame me.

Tang Hao lightly peck Tang San forehead after finishing his monologue while having an expression full of sadness and anger.

In the eye of the baby named Tang San appear to be an eye full of intelligent that should not be posses by a baby. 'So, where am I? I remember I have jump down from the hill at 'Hell's Peak'. Who is this guy? Is he my father? Why can't I move my body as I wish? Am I reborn as a baby? Is this the second chance the heaven have granted me?' Thought Tang San.

After a day, the kid that was born from that strike of lightning was awake in the room and he murmur.

Li Wang:So, this place is Soul Land world and this is the Heavenly Physique. My body feels full of power and vigor. Even my thinking seems extremely clear. Just that, my body is a bit too small. It seems I can only have sex after a decade or so.

Li Wang rise from the bed he is leaning on and watch his surrounding.

Li Wang:Hmmm, I seem to be inside a house. A bit broken but still look pretty clean.

The door suddenly open and a old man walk in. The old man was walking while using a cane as a support for walking. After the old man saw Li Wang awake, he walk to Li Wang with a kind expression.

Grandpa Jack:Child, have you awaken? Where is your parent? Do you remember anything?

'Hmmm, this should be the village elder, for now I should pretend that I loss memory so I won't get question a lot since it is annoying.' Thought Li Wang.

Li Wang:Hmmm, I can't seem to remember anything other than my name.

It is a vague answer. However, Grandpa Jack still believe him because the villagers lack of education. Causing them to believe most of the thing people says.

Grandpa Jack:Sigh, what a pitiful child. Child what is your name?

Li Wang thought for a moment and answer.

Li Wang:My name is Wang Li.

At that moment Li Wang or now Wang Li decided to put down the thing from his previous life and start a new life by walking the first step which is by having a new name that represent his new life and past life.

2 Years Later

The 2 years that he lived at Holy Soul Village was relatively simple. Morning awake to cultivate at the top of the hill, after that went back home to eat and tends to his daily need. After that, cultivate physique at afternoon and midnight as Yin Yang Manual require Yin Yang energy. Afternoon there is sunlight for Yang energy and moonlight at midnight for Yin energy.

After that, has lunch and continue cultivate. He also plant vegetables to make sure he have enough food to eat as he consume much more food than other kid to cultivate his body. He did not bother to be friend with other children because it was a waste of time for someone like him that have adult soul inside a child body. Secondly, all the children in village don't have any talent for cultivation other than Tang San.

At night he will cultivate Infinite Manual and sleep early to ensure he does not damage his body that are growing. He mostly cultivate and do things that are useful to make sure he can become strong as it was his dream in his past life. Now that he can cultivate, of course he will give his best.

Beside that, he have also made several plan as he remember all the plot from Soul Land 1. Wang Li is not satisfied with the ending of Soul Land 1. So he plan to change the personality and characteristic of a few people. He just hope that the butterfly effect won't be too severe.

At this moment, Wang Li open his eyes. His eyes posses the wisdom and intelligent that should not be posses by a child. Black hair that reach shoulder, face that are far above average, skin that are white and smooth as jade, body that are fit and appear to be strong and flexible. He stand up and stretch his body after a cultivation session.

Wang Li:This 2 years have been pretty smooth, all within my plan and my strength increased at a constant speed. In fact, a lot of benefit I gain should be from Heavenly Physique. Not only does my cultivation rise without bottle neck, I also rise at a speed that exceed my expectation.

In fact, Wang Li thought he would have the power of Spirit Grandmaster at age 5 and Spirit Elder at age 6 from his current cultivation condition. He did not expect, he would have power of Spirit Grandmaster at age 4. His Spirit Power have reach Rank 20 on the first day he arrive. However, because of the purity increases, the requirement for Spirit Power rise and a lot of Spirit Power that lay in dormant have been consumed and purified. In his calculation, once he obtain second soul ring, he will rise to Rank 28 or 29.

His mental power have similarly reach Spirit Grandmaster and his physical body has also reach Spirit Grandmaster. Now he only need to wait for his Martial Soul to awaken. After that, he can cultivate more frantically as his current Spirit Power can't rise anymore. All cultivation from Spirit Power will be absorb inside his body and remain dormant till he obtain second Spirit Ring.

After he finished stretching, he plan to visit his farm inside the forest and harvest some vegetables to make breakfast and lunch. On the road to the farm inside forest, he felt Spirit Power fluctuation near his farm. His curiosity win over his feeling of the need of cautioness as he now have ability to retreat safely in this place considering this place don't even have Soul Master. All the villagers was more or less farmer without Spirit Power other than Tang Hao as he is a Super Douluo at Rank 95.

He speed up through the forest from tree to tree using the branches as a landing for each jump. Soon, he arrive at a ordinary tree that appear to be the same as the other tree. The tree root seems to be absorbing Spirit Power at a slow pace.

This type of Spirit Power fluctuation are hard to detect as it absorb small amount of Spirit Power at a constant speed. Only those above Rank 50 can detect it's fluctuation. He was able to detect it because of his cultivation manual 'Heavenly Attribute'. It have allow him to detect even the smallest changes of Spirit Power in the atmosphere.

He start to dig a hole at the root of the tree using his hand as he have nothing to use to dig a hole. After digging for a few minute, he stumble upon a wooden box that have been buried beside the tree root. Wang Li take out the wooden box from the buried place to observe it.

The wooden box was 7 cm height and 10 cm wide. It appear to be a box that use to keep ring or something that are small. Even though it's covered with soil, it appear to be something that are high in quality. He start to inspect the wooden box and discover it's a Soul Guidance Tool.

Soul Guidance Tool was an object created from a type of formation or array. When Wang Li obtain the information regarding it from the memory God given him, it does not provide much information other than subtle explanation. So it was considered antique and rare as Soul Guidance Tool have a lot of usage and convenience.

The cover of the wooden box appear to be a formation that absorb Spirit Power. Wang Li guess that it can be open upon receiving enough Spirit Power. So he started to inject his own Spirit Power to the box. It did not take long, only half a minute because the cultivation technique he learn have allow him to control the smallest amount of Spirit Power while also allow him to release all his Spirit Power in seconds. After finish transferring Spirit Power, the wooden box produce a 'click' sound and the cover was slightly ajar.

(Xiao San is a nickname for Tang San)
