1 Chapter 1:The Oldest God

Li Wang, an ordinary man working as a full time office worker and currently at age 26 with no girlfriend and completely ordinary background. However, he does not complain about having a normal background as he did not suffer at young age compare to other kids that suffer a lot at young age. So, he is grateful for the family he has.

He was also an 'Otaku' which is usually use to address Japanese people that are addicted to anime, manga and novel. This is the reason why he does not have girlfriend as he was too busy with his 'Otaku' related fun. However, he does not regret becoming an 'Otaku' as it was a pleasure that are endless. To him, it is something that does not bring pain or regret as anime and novel only bring joy and fun. He started to watch anime since 13 years old and after 13 years goes by, he still can't get bored of it.

Today was another normal day to Li Wang. He just finish work at 6 pm which is the end of work time. He plan to watch 'Soul Land' animation as today was a release of another episode. He was addicted to 'Soul Land' that he literally finished the novel of 'Soul Land 1', 'Soul Land 2', 'Soul Land 3' and 'Soul Land 4'.

On the way home, he was walking at the road side while casually watching his surrounding. Suddenly, a car that drive at a high speed did not stop even though the traffic light was red and a kid was crossing the zebra cross. Li Wang saw the kid and he started to run to the kid.

At that moment, Li Wang does not think too much as his body move without thinking to save the child. He successfully push away the child from the zebra cross. However, he does not make it to the other side of the road on time.

As a result, he was crashed and flew over 5 meter. His ribcage on the right side was broken and the fragment of rib cage bone pierce his inner organ. For example, heart, lung and etc. He gradually loss all his 5 senses and fainted. On that day, a man named Li Wang have died in a planet named Earth.

When Li Wang was awake, he was in a white room. The room was fill with light that god know how it came from. The spaces inside the room seems endless when Li Wang watch it from the place he was standing. He was shocked, however that does not last long. After a few minute, he recalled what has happen and all his memory.

Li Wang:So I have died. Luckily I have prepared in advance in case I died. All my wealth will be transferred to my parent. With it, I at least won't have regret as I have at least repaid them for bringing me up since I was a baby.

'Well, I don't really have much drive to continue living in the first place. Only my parents and Otaku shit makes me continue living for all this years.' thought Li Wang.

God:That is quite a preparation, young man.

An old man suddenly appear in front of Li Wang with a low table and 2 seat cushion. 1 of the cushion was sitted by the old man.

The old man appears to be in his 50's while wearing a white robe and having a gentle smile like a kind grandpa. His face was neither handsome nor ugly. Just ordinary grandpa face with some wrinkle on it.

Li Wang:You are...

Even though Li Wang already had guesses in his heart about the old man identity, he still ask regardless of it. It was just too unbelievable to him.

God:As you have guessed, young man. I am the so called God which is the name you mortal used to address me. Before we start our conversation, how about you take a sit? I have more than enough time so you should relax and calm down first.

Li Wang follow the advice of the God and subconsciously take a sit. The God lightly wave his right hand and a plate of snack with 2 cup of warm green tea appeared out of nowhere. The God take a sip of green tea and continue talking.

God:As you have guessed, you are dead when the car bang you. So, I will reincarnate you to the world of your choosing and also allow you to retain your memory while granting you 3 wish.

Li Wang was enjoying the green tea when he suddenly heard the word that he have wished to heard for years from God. Li Wang was extremely excited after hearing the last word as it was a situation he usually day dream about it. It was also a usual plot at the starting of a fan fiction novel. However, the excitement does not last long as Li Wang started to think of the reason he was granted this opportunity.

Usually, those fan fiction main character have accumulated a lot of good karma which in return was granted wishes from God. He on the other hand does not accumulated a lot of good karma as he can clearly remember that the good thing he does was all small things that are unworthy of mentioning. The best thing he have done was probably saving that child from car accident. However, he believe saving a life won't help him accumulate a lot of karma. So, he can't help feeling slightly suspicious as the good karma he accumulated was at most a little bit more that ordinary human. Li Wang pick up his courage and ask the God.

Li Wang:God, can I ask you a question?

Li Wang ask the God while hiding his nervousness by maintaining a calm expression.

God:Did you want to say that you have not accumulate enough good karma to be granted this opportunity?

The God question him as if he knew what Li Wang is thinking. Li Wang was shocked when the God question him the thing he is thinking about. However, Li Wang did not felt abnormal that God knew his thinking as he is God after all. Li Wang nod his head and eagerly waiting for the answer.

God:I was bored. In the past, I have a lot of things to do. However, now a lot of God have arises and I, as the oldest God does not need to do anything now as all work have been passed to other new God/Goddess. I pick you up to grant you the same opportunity that other mortal have gotten from other God as it appear to be interesting. For your information, I pick up your soul from your body on the moment you die because I don't like to waste time picking someone that have a lot of good karma and wait for him to die. Even though I can live forever, that does not mean I like to waste time. Expecially when I am bored. You just happen to died at the same time I pick up a soul randomly. So, I guess you are fortunate.

Li Wang:I see. That clear me up a lot. Thank you very much.

Li Wang felt bitter in his heart as he was given this opportunity because he was fortunate enough and not because of other thing. However, that bitter feeling does not last long as Li Wang started to think of the world to be reincarnated to and wish to be granted.

Li Wang:God, can I think for a moment for the wish that I want?

God:Sure, take your time and remember that the wish cannot be omnipotent. Even though I can grant that, it will destroy the meaning of reincarnation if I make you so powerful from the start. Do note it.

Li Wang:Alright.

After half an hour, Li Wang have finished considering the world to be reincarnated to and the wish to be granted.
