Chapter 2: The situation

Nox was left alone in the room and started thinking about the situation. " I must anylyze my situation and make rational judgement" he thought.

He started to review the what he went through "to sum it up I'm in an unfimiliar place and met a magician then got the opportunity to become Ryan's apprentice."

He looked at his smart phone seeing that there is no signal, he got up and left the house to gather information and get familiar with his environment. Once out of the house he noticed carriages being pulled by horses on the rode made of stone. People were wearing western style clothes. Men wearing long black and brown coats and women in long dresses. Women in the carriagebwere wearing fine clothing and women walking by we're wearing smok like cloth that was an indicator of social status or hierarchy of this place.

after half an hour of wandring around Nox found out that he couldn't connect this olace to anywhere on Earth. Goods being sold were very common like shoes and clthes were very ordaniry and out dated while food was hardly platable. It was some bread and podigree.

Then Nox came back at the place he started from. After taking a deep breath he looked at his phone on which there was no signal then he made uo his mind and started to think about the information Ryan transfered to his brain.

he started to meditate to calm his mind and enter a state that can help him sense mana. After 2 hours of practice he had no luck feeling mana. He got frustrated as his back was aching and his legs were feeling numb so he stoped mediting and took a short break.

Nox said out loud,"what if i have no talent? but if that was the case then Ryan wouldn't have trnsfered the knowledge to become mage apprentice to me" 

after 10 min. break Nox started to mediatte again and after 2 days of this he finally felt mana. It was nethier hot nor cold. It was just there but when he started to capture mana and move it through his body according to the method he recieved from Ryan, it felt warm and comforting.

Black substance started to come out of his body after 1 day of circulating mana in his body. Nox said, "I've used up 3 days now I must use the rest of the time to create first circle. It acnt be that gard" 

Next day in the evening there was a small dosturbance in the mana in Nox's room then there was calmness.

Nox laughed out loud as he said, " I've done it". it was a wonderful feeling for him just sensing the mana inside his heart. He felt extremely active and rejuvenated. 

A young girl's voice was herd, "I don't understand why you are going out of your way to teach a mortal people would keel before you to get your teachings what's so good about him? the great guardian who refused to accept disciples even at request at mage council took in a disciple by giving oout a simple test?"

Ryan at the side said nothing but smiled. Noone knew what he was thinking then he disappeard from the room and appeard infront of Nox. "I see that you've made your first circle, you are now my second apprentice", Ryan declared. 

second? Nox asked who is the first. To which Ryan replied you will meet her soon. Now, lets get going towards my tower. Then Ryan casted his spell and Arron teleported directly into Ryan's mage tower. 

welcome back master said a little fairy made of mana. What is this Nox asked with surprie on his face.

Ryan introduced the little fairy as Rina the tower spirit. She had blonde hair, green eyes and petite figure with transparent wings on her back. She was of the size that could fit in an adult's palm.

Ryan was intrigued then Ryan told Rina to add Arun as his apprentice and alot him a room in his tower. Soon Nox was transferred to his room and Rina gave him some methods to increase his control over mana.

Nox was aksed to Increase his mana control for one month before learning any spells. 

Ryan was seen in his mage tower when he said, " Earth what an interesting place, flying without magic,they look a lot like alchemy but its differnet in the way it is implemented. Ha ha it sure is interesting"
