Distracted lately

This time, Opal was the first to exit, followed by Lightbeetle and Selendis. The remaining two trailed behind me, leaving Thorne in the rear. We veered left and made our way to Maple Square. I greeted a few patrons I recognized, as well as some of my employees. I sensed that business had improved since yesterday, which eased my mind. The atmosphere still held a tinge of tension, but it was less palpable.

We arrived at the Waterfall Tavern, then took the first door on the left. "Branches," I began.

"Yes?"

"This is where the issue originated. Goren started a venture upstairs without even the courtesy of informing me."

"Ah."

"As far as I'm aware, it might still be active. Lightbeetle and Kyoen will stay here with me."

"Understood."
