5.The Enemy Is My Ally? [Part 2]

You could hear the crackle of lightning spark through the very air..it all felt electrifying, the smallest tingles brushing against your skin..it was like a shock you didn't want to end..

It felt euphoric..it felt amazing, like you could anything in an instant..in a FLASH, well that wasn't the case for our heroes right now

The fight ensues as Red Death ducks under a hit from Kid Flash and spins around punching him across the face as he blasts him with lightning sending him flying back, his body hitting a nearby tree

He brought his attention back to the Elongated Man as he formed a large fist and swung it towards Red Death he easily dodged the hit as he grabbed the stretched out arm and quickly yanked him forward as Elongated Man was met by a jumping uppercut followed up by a spin kick across his face

A blast was fired from behind him as Vibe held both of his hands out and fired a beam of energy to the speedster, he acted quickly and counters with his lightning coming out from his fingertips. Their energy colliding with one another trying to force the other back as Red Death held his other hand up into the air, the clouds suddenly darkened as a bolt of lightning shot out of the sky striking Red Death's hand

Practically boosting him as he pushed against Vibe's energy, pushing him back enough as he fell backwards unfortunately Red Death was struck in the back by orange lightning as he groaned in pain, his body spun around meeting the face of the Flash; soon enough joined by XS and Kid Flash as he shared a moment of anger towards XS, but he had to focus on the people in front of him. Flash clearly had the most experience, so Red Death would have to be precise and make his hits worth it, Kid Flash had experience but lacked precision to make it far enough..and then there was XS; a rookie superhero

Taking her out would be the top priority then turn his attention to the other two speedster, this was his plan..was it guaranteed to succeed? Pfft fuck no but if he was going to be taken out by these heroes then he would go down swinging..

He faced XS and taunted her..she grit her teeth and was the first one to attack, that was her first mistake..

Red Death phased himself at the last second of her hit and grabbed her by her hair as she was put into a chokehold, she tried to get free but Red Death was done playing around.

He lifted her up into the air with both of his hands and flung her body with pure force before she could hit the ground, Flash quickly ran up the tree catching her as he looked back seeing Kid Flash and Red Death duking it out. Red Death was struck by a knee to the stomach then with a punch to the face as Kid Flash went into keep attacking; Red Death had caught his fist and slowly began to bent it back forcing Kid Flash to his knees as Red Death grabbed the wings on the side of Kid Flash's cowl as he brought his knee to his face

And continously began to keep hitting Kid Flash with his knee again and again, as some of blood fell to the ground. Red Death lifted him off the ground as he uses his other hand to electrocute Kid Flash to a point where he could barely even move; just as Red Death was about to knock him out he was caught by surprise by the Flash tackling him as the two speedster tumbled and rolled onto the ground

Red Death could feel the Flash's hands wrap around his throat but Red Death pushes him back, he groaned a bit from the small momentary lack of air, seeing their opening Elongated Man threw his arm wrapping it around Red Death as the Flash called out to Vibe

Flash:Cisco now!

Vibe pulled out a small device from his pouch and threw towards Red Death as the Elongated Man yanked his wrapped arm away as a energetic cage suddenly formed around Red Death, he furiously punched the cage but his hit didn't have any effect on the energetic cage

Flash:It's over Red Death..

Red Death simply stared at the fastest man alive

Vibe:Good luck with that pal, this cage was meant to trap speedsters like your old man. You aren't going anywhere so you might as well give up!

And yet through all of that, Red Death didn't even say anything as he suddenly forms a red and black lightning blade from his hands as everyone takes a step back

The blade pierces right through the cage as Red Death slowly begins to tear through it

Elongated Man:Uhh Cisco I thought you said it was supposed to hold him!

Vibe:It is!..this is impossible..

Just as he finishes that sentence; Red Death steps out of the cage with the blade still in his hand, he turns into a spear as he hurls it towards Vibe as he is sent flying back into a tree with the spear lodged into his shoulder as he yells out in excruciating pain, Flash gets ready to run to help his friend but a chain suddenly wraps around his torso as Red Death yanks it him as he quickly runs up a tree while the Flash is still mid-air

Red Death jumps off the tree as he brings down both of his feet and slams them into the Flash's chest as they plummet back onto the ground below them, there's a loud *kathoom* as Elongated Man tries to see through the dust only for Red Death to be brought into his vision as he practically drags an injured Barry Allen across the ground

That's when we see Kid Flash helplessly laying on ground with his face all bloody, Vibe attached to the spear that is connected to the tree behind him, XS laying on the ground unconscious and last but not least a defeated Flash with the grip of Red Death himself..

Elongated Man:Oh god..

The fear can be seen in his eyes as he slowly begins to back away from the speedster in front of him, when suddenly a breach opens behind Ralph as he is grabbed by Iris who comes back out with a gun in her hand as she aims at Red Death

Iris:Let my husband go!!

Her hand brushes against the trigger of the gun

Iris:I said let him g--

She's cut off by Red Death suddenly appearing in front of her and snatches the gun away from her and breaking it

Iris tries to slap Red Death he catches her hand and headbutts her hard as she stumbles back

Iris:I know I don't..but she does..

Before he could question what she means, Red Death is suddenly struck by heat vision as he let's go of Iris and is punched away by a red and blue blur, as Iris quickly helps all of her injured teammates and helps them one by one into the breach

Red Death forces himself up as he hears someone land in front of him as all he can is..

Supergirl stands a few feet away from him as she stands tall and ready against Red Death

Supergirl:I don't take kindly to people hurting my friends!

[Le gasp could it be?..a potential love interest? Maybe..maybe not guess you'll have to find out later..]

"

For a moment she actually considered it..maybe she could hear what he had to say?..but from Iris told her this man was seriously bad news..

Supergirl lowers her guard as she continues to hear what he has to say

He could see that she was swayed by his words as he decided to do something risky..he retracted his helmet revealing his face to her as she listened to his heartbeat..it was beating steadily..

"What can I do for you to trust me?..even for a second, to prove to you that im not the bad guy! You heard one side of a story..just let me tell you mine.."

Her once mistrusting gaze was slowly turned to one of compassion

Supergirl:I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt..your right maybe it's time I hear your side of the story..

She could've sworn she saw him smile a bit, something about him made her wonder what could have happened to him to make him turn out this way?..

"Thank you..well I guess I should introduce myself, my name is Erick..Erick Thawne and I think it's time you finally know the truth.."
