31.Thunder & Lightning

The air itself had become electrified as we see a mixture of red and black lightning clashing against purple lightning, this wasn't any ordinary lightning that radiated the air around them..it was pure power; power unlike anything the world has ever seen

Power that could rival even the strongest of eternal beings in the known universe, power that could be used to crumble empires..power that was being used to fight against two extraordinary people gifted in ways neither of them truly understood..until now

An unmasked and enraged Erick Thawne that was gassed by a fear toxin..this strain of unpeepertual gas was meant to make you see your greatest fear; but Erick didn't feel fear..no he felt pure and unrelenting

An overwhelming indisputable everlasting rage that boiled his blood deep down right to his core, for you see in his eyes..the Black Flash had made his miraculous return and slaughtered everyone he ever cared about; but what he didn't know is that he was fighting against two of the most important people in his life..and one of them was now fighting against him

Katherine 'Kate' Foster, daughter of Jane Foster and Thor Odin also known as the God of Thunder was holding her own against a man who had endured unimaginable terror in his life; she knew Erick understood pain..and with every punch she threw he would hit just as hard if not more harder than she could possibly take but she refused to back down

Erick and Kate both locked arms as the two powerful beings pushed against each other trying to force the other to their knees, Kate brought her knee up as she struck Erick in the stomach as he groaned in pain; he retaliated by head butting Kate as her hold on Erick loosened as he used this chance to push her back

And hurl her through multiple buildings as she pushed through the pain and got back up to her feet as she charged up her hands and quickly threw a bolt of lightning at Erick but he single-handedly grabbed the lightning bolt mid-air and stared at it as Kate's eyes widened as the purple lightning bolt turned into a mixture of red and black as Erick threw right back at her

The force of such a strike hit Kate right in the chest as she fell to her knees, she was met by multiple hard punches across her face at super speed, Kate barely managed to catch one of Erick's punches as she lunged forward and head butted him right in between his nose

Erick felt the impact of Kate's head butt as he felt his blood run down his nose as he wiped it off and popped his nose back onto place, the anger in his eyes only grew even more as he sped over to her and flung her high into the air as Erick chased after her as the hybrid ran up a building and leapt into the air

Kate clapped her hands together sending a shockwave that send her plummeting back down as she reeled back her fist as Erick did the same; a loud thunderous explosion of immense power shattered all the windows down below as the two Asgardians fell back down

Kate put Erick into a headlock as the hybrid squirms and elbowed her in the stomach as her grip loosened enough for Erick to turn the tables and kick her in the face as he forcefully held her head as they finally came crashing down

A large crater formed in the middle of the streets of Central City and yet they got back up and continued to send punch after punch as waves of destruction followed them, Erick slams both of his fists on the side of Kate's face temporarily stunning her as he forcefully drags her face through the ground while running down the streets at super speeds

Kate screams out in pain as she brings down her fist to the ground causing it to crack as Erick trips and falls as he rolls over the concrete ground as Kate coughs up some of her own blood from the pain just blistering inside of her

The two could feel their power lingering inside of them as Kate held out both her hands as the clouds around them darkened with the rumbles of lightning and thunder as a massive bolt of lightning struck down from the clouds and onto Kate

She could feel the raw energy coursing through her veins as she jumped up in the air and brought down her fist as she cracked Erick so hard across his face, he flew back so hard through almost every single building in the city as he came crashing down to the outskirts of Central City

Where you could see nothing but endless fields of grass and emptiness with no one in sight; Erick spit out a mouthful of his own blood on the grass below him as he wiped his mouth as Kate came out of nowhere and landed in front of Erick

Kate:Erick if some part of you can hear me..then im sorry about this..

She boosts herself over to him but he sidesteps her and claps his hands together as he electrocutes her with red and black lightning as she screams out in pain; she puts her hand up and blasts Erick in the chest as he stumbles back

Kate rushes in and tries to kick Erick in the face but he dodges it and flips himself back as he ducks underneath her kick and flips himself back up

Kate musters her remaining strength and ducks under Erick's left jab as she slams her elbow into him

Her body felt sore..her bones ached with so much pain, she had pushed herself far too much..she didn't know how long she could keep with Erick; speaking of the hybrid she saw him running around her in circles as he used his built up energy and threw a lightning bolt as the Goddess of Thunder countered with her own lightning

If she had any chance to stop Erick this was her one and only chance..her hands sparked purple as she willed every ounce of power as she screamed out in such determination as a huge wave of purple lightning came out of her hands
