Son of Artemis

Johnathon Moores finds himself in a sticky situation. He's reincarnated in the Percy Jackson world as a son of Artemis, goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, the Moon, and chastity. ------------------------------------------------------------------- MC will go to different worlds in what I think is a unique way so it isn't a purely Percy Jackson FanFic. Keep in mind that although English is my first language, I am new at writing. I would appreciate some criticism here and there As I am still in school updates will be very random. I'll try to do at least 3 chapters a month. If I haven't posted in a long time it usually means I'm swamped with school or I have writer's block. If I don't post new chapters, I'll make sure to at least post updates. I do not own anything except my own characters

Gods

After being punted out into the void, I started to think back on what Robert said. What did he mean? Was there an actual reason why I was chosen? Damn what is happening?

While thinking about it I started to feel hot for some reason. Looking around I realized where I was. I WAS CRASHING TOWARDS THE EARTH! WHY WOULD HE PUT ME INTO ORBIT! I was fast approaching the Earth and there wasn't anything I could do about it.

Is this how I die?

Closing my eyes, I waited for my inevitable fate. I could hear the wind whistling around me and suddenly there was a loud boom. Opening my eyes, I realized I didn't feel any pain, looking around I saw a large crater with dust floating around in the air. Breathing a sigh of relief that I was still alive, I looked down. Seeing a rock I started to wonder what it was. It was grey with some small holes in it. Looks like a rock from the moon.

Wait a second, looking back down at the rock I found I had no physical body. Instead, it was transparent. I tried putting my hand into my body and my hand went straight through. I started freaking out with some manly screams. Yep, they were definitely manly. Anyway, was I a ghost? How am I the son of Artemis as a ghost? Was I hallucinating? Maybe this is a dream I'm making up while being high off my mind. I can't believe this is happening.

Looking back up at the sky I could see a hole in one of the clouds. Probably from when I was falling. I realized that it was about noon. While staring at the sky, I heard footsteps approaching the crater. Strange, why can I hear so clearly? Is this a perk of being a ghost?

I started to try walking towards the sound when I realized I wasn't moving. Forgot I was a ghost. Maybe I can fly? I tried flapping my arms which didn't work. I tried thinking about where I want to go. After a bit, it worked and I started flying around. When I tried to get closer to the sound, I felt a tug and was forced back to the rock. So I can't move from the rock. Closing my eyes and trying to listen again, I heard the footsteps were getting closer and closer by the second when they stopped. Opening my eyes I saw a short man with deformed legs that seemed to be in splints and a belt that held various tools that would be used for smithing and sculpture.

As he started to wobble towards me, I felt that he radiated a power that came out of him like a raging fire. I started to shake uncontrollably out of fear. This man is powerful. I stood still hoping he wouldn't notice me. It doesn't seem like he does. Is it because I'm a ghost? Ghost shenanigans aside, who is this guy? Hmm short with weird legs, a fiery aura, and a bunch of tools. Looking over I started sweating.

It was Hephaestus, the god of fire, metalworking, stone masonry, forges, and the art of sculpture.

He bent down and picked up the rock and started mumbling things I couldn't understand. He put it in his pocket and started to walk away. 'Hey, wait up!' I thought as I followed him not wanting to be dragged along.

A couple of minutes of walking (floating?) later we reached a large volcano that had thick, billowing smoke flowing from the top. At the foot of the mountain, we reached a wall. Wonder why we stopped? Hephaestus walked up to the wall and put his hand on the wall. The wall flashed in a fiery red and orange and was replaced with a door with ancient symbols. We walked into a huge room that was filled with weapons and armor and a large forge in the back of the room. Hephaestus walked over to a desk that had a large number of papers on it. Some had elaborate drawings while other papers were covered in words and numbers. A trashcan was next to the desk with balled up papers filling it to the brim

Hephaestus pushed the papers to one side of the desk and put the moon rock onto the table. He left and came back with some tools and started sculpting.

A couple of hours later, he had finished sculpting and wiped a bit of sweat off his forehead. Looking over at what he had made, I saw that he had made a wolf that seemed so lifelike that it felt like it would start moving if I looked away for even a second. Hephaestus then picked it up and disappeared. Feeling a tug, I realized what had happened and started moving at an insanely fast speed until I finally stopped. 'God, I never want that to happen again,' I thought before swallowing some of the puke that was creeping out my throat, 'Didn't think a ghost could puke.' Looking around at my surroundings, I saw Hephaestus standing in front of 11 other people, all of which radiated power. I stood still in fear. Looking around I saw all the Olympians.

Zeus wore a white toga that was embroidered with gold and silver that lightning arced around. He had glowing gold eyes that seemed to have golden electricity flowing through them, white hair that connected to an equally white beard, and large defined muscles. His aura was chaotic that felt like it would shock me if I got too close.

Hera wore an elaborate white dress with purple decorating it. She had brown hair that reached her shoulders and a beautiful, kind face with equally beautiful brown eyes. Although she looked kind and harmless, her aura said otherwise. Her aura wasn't as chaotic as Zeus's, but it seemed soothing and loving but murderous and angry all at the same time. I guess being the goddess of marriage and marrying an unfaithful god has some consequences.

Poseidon wore a dark blue toga that was decorated with seashells and small bits of coral. He had brown hair with a short beard, deep blue eyes that looked like the ocean, tanned skin, and a lean but muscular body. His aura felt calming and cool as if I was swimming at the beach on a hot summer day. It was the complete opposite of Zeus's aura.

Athena wore a bronze-colored armor with owls decorating it. A cloak with a ram's head covered her back and shoulders. A sheathed sword dangled on her hip held by a leather strap. A helmet with the iconic plume, that was colored blue, sticking out the top hid most of her facial features and hair but there were still small strands of blonde hair peeking out. The only other thing visible was her piercing grey eyes which stared at the statue as if to see through it. Her aura was cold, domineering, and calculative making it seem like she was planning something.

Ares was bare-chested showing off all of his bulging muscles. He had a helmet similar to Athena's except the plume was colored red. He had a large greatsword on his back. He had glossy black hair with small strands of red. His face was similar in structure to Zeus's but still different. His eyes looked like he was hungering for battle and his aura even worse. It was murderous and felt like it was thirsting for blood and gore.

Demeter looked very similar to Hera except her hair was shorter and a crown that was woven from stalks of wheat that were atop of her head. She wore a golden dress that had different grains decorating it. Her aura felt calm and warm, but there was a small amount of coldness and anger hidden in it. Guess this is after Persephone marries Hades.

Aphrodite looked beautiful. The most beautiful person I've ever seen. She wore a white dress that had pink embroidery. Her aura didn't feel like anything to me. I thought I'd be attracted to her. Is it because I'm a ghost? I wonder.

Dionysus had short brown hair and a grapevine crown that wrapped around his head. He wore a fancy purple robe with pictures of grapes and wines. He had purple eyes that shone brightly and defined muscles. His aura made me feel dizzy and woozy like I was drunk after drinking a lot.

Hermes had a simple white toga with no decorations. On his head was a helmet with wings that fluttered around and on his feet were sandals with similar wings on the helmet. He had a lean build that had some muscle and a red cloak that draped across his back. His eyes had a mischievous glint and his aura equally mischievous.

Apollo had golden hair and eyes that glowed and a laurel wreath decorated on his head. He had a golden toga that also glowed similar to his eyes. He had a similar build to Hermes with a bit more muscle. A golden bow was strapped across his back and a quiver with golden arrows at his hip. Although his aura was less fiery than Hephaestus's, it was more soothing and bright.

And finally, my future mother, Artemis. She had silver hair and glowing silver eyes. She had a tight-fitting outfit made of leaves and a crown made with the horns of a deer. Her bow was silver in color and her quiver filled with silver arrows. Her aura was cold but still bright, similar to Apollo's.

'What have I gotten myself in?' I asked myself before facepalming.

I put a little hint on how he is the "son" of Artemis. Can you figure it out? The only hint I'll give is Pandora.
