The end of training and an unexpected gain.

<Time skip one month>

"So, this is going to be your last week here?" Setsura asked

"Indeed, I think it's time I return to the underworld for a bit and plan my next journey"

Even though I said that, I probably will visit Kuoh first. I also decided to just give up on the location the old man gave me after I went to the other two during the breaks I get after training.

One was a Tengu and he was weak. The other was actually a nekomata family, I brought them to the to Magari-san and they've been under her ever since.

"Where next?" she asked.

"Probably Britain" I answered.

Gotta get my knight.

"That will be quite the change in scenery, anyway enough small talk, more rainfall"

And so training continues.

The week ended in a flash, and now it was time to make my leave.

"So you're staying here until I return?"

"Yes, they asked and I accepted. It's a lot better than the old shrine anyway." Ayame answered with a shrug "Plus, I can train all I want"

"You really don't want to come and see the underworld?" I asked

"I'll be seeing it soon anyway, I can wait"

*Sigh* "Do as you like, I'll be back for you soon"

"I'm sure you will" she said with a small smile.

I smile back as the teleportation circle appeared.

"Goodbye for now, Ayame" I said with a wave, seconds later I was gone.

Just as I arrived in a random park in Kuoh.

Hmm...

*Sigh* 'Damn it! I just can't catch a break.' I thought as sense three non-human coming my way.

<General POV>

"Fallen angels?" Savion muttered.

'What are they doing here?' he thought

His thought was immediately answered when one of them decided to attack without any prior warning.

'Well you ask for it, I'll be testing the result of my training on you three' he thought as he dodge the attacks.

The sky began to darken as rain slowly started to fall as he slowly started to disappear, his presence completely gone as he flew behind them listening to their conversations.

The trio of fallen angels were confused and wary as rain suddenly started to fall and their target simply vanish.

"Why are we even doing this?" ask the only female who seems very oddly familiar to Savion.

"Don't you remember what Kokabiel-sama told us, Its about time we started taking out our enemies, for the betterment of us fallen angels" The taller man replied.

'Kokabiel? Oh...I see, he's starting his plan for war. So, he's letting the lower rank fallen start rifts between the factions which will make starting the war a lot easier in the future' Savion thought.

"Where the hell is that devil and what the hell is with the rain?!" The other one exclaimed.

'Let's end this quickly, I just wanted to go home. I don't even want to look around the town anymore'

"Come on, let's search around for a bit, we'll leave after a bit"

"Can I just go back, this rain clearly isn't natural and are we sure we can take him even if we find him?" the girl asked slightly worried. She clearly felt something right before it started raining and that worries her.

"Shut it Raynare, he was clearly just a kid of course we can take him on"

"He is right, though I can understand your concern, you are new to this after all."

Savion was genuinely surprised

'Raynare?!! What The Hell! I knew she was familiar but she currently looked very different from how she looked during canon.' he thought in astonishment.

'Also, she only fell recently?! Damn! So Kokabiel really turned her into that bitch of a character she was in canon'

Savion decided to do try something as he concentrated on his evil pieces. Which he hasn't done in a while.

'Hmm, so Raynare is worth 2 pawn piece and the other two are worth 1.'

Savion thought for a bit...

'That's it, I'm taking her as my first pawn. It will not only prevent a lot of problems, but having a fallen angel is going to help a lot in the future especially during the peace treaty'

'Welp, time for two of them to die'

Savion silently appeared behind them, cocking his arm back...

"Sorry, but please rest in peace" he suddenly spoke out, completely catching them off guard, as he swing his touki and senjutsu coated fist straight at his attacker.

Punching his head clean off.

'Did he just die in one punch?!' Savion was again surprised.

Raynare was completely stunned and terrified. This was her second mission after she was transfer to be under kokabiel after spending a few years getting use to the human world.

She was thankful to them for taking her in and caring for her but she did not sign up for this.

This kid just killed her senior with just one punch, she felt no demonic power in that attack which terrified her even more.

"Yo-You will pay for that you Devil!" The other man shouted and immediately started attacking.

"I was going to give you a chance to surrender" Savion said as he smoothly dodge the attacks

'Comparing to Retsuza and Ayame this is nothing and honestly just disappointing' he thought.

"Screw you! You'll be the one surrendering when I'm done with you"

*Sigh* "I gave you a chance and you didn't take it." Savion said as he suddenly appear in front of the fallen, grabbing a hold of his head.

"Freeze"

The fallen angel suddenly got rigid and pale, ice was forming on his wings and skin, a few seconds later Savion let go and he crash down, shattering when he hit the ground.

"So, what about you?" He asked looking directly at Raynare making her flinch.

"I-I surrender" she stuttered out as she slowly descend back to the ground.

"Good" Savion nodded.

<back to 1st person>

"What are you going to do with me?" She asked meekly, clearly scared.

"I'll cut straight to the point, you know that devils have the method to reincarnated other species into devils right?"

Her eyes widen in shock, clearly knowing exactly what he was talking about.

"I don't have much of a choice do I?" she said bitterly.

"I'm sorry but no, but I can promise you that you won't ever be treated harshly or like an enemy ever."

She looked at me, clearly not expecting the sincerity.

'If you were worth just I piece I might have just let you go, but to still be worth 2 even with my current strength means that you have some potential and I am not passing up on that'

*Sigh* "I'll join you"

"Thank you, you won't regret it" I said genuinely happy that I don't have to push her further.

"I hope not" she muttered

"You won't" I replied as I take out two pawn piece.

Thus, reincarnating her into a devil.

'I can sense a slight increase in power. Hmm...' My thoughts were interrupted when I sense a presence approaching us.

"Oh I did not expect him of all people to come here" I thought out loud looking at a certain direction.

Raynare followed my line of sight and let out a small gasp. "Azazel-sama" she said softly.

He arrived shortly after, looking at the two corpses and then to Raynare who was looking down at the ground.

"Raynare right? the one that fell after accidentally catching and watching a couple having S&M sex?"

"..."

'Pifft...What a way to fall' I thought trying to hold back my laugh.

Raynare nodded, still not looking up, but I could see the huge blush on her face.

"It seems I was a bit too late" he said sighing.

'Probably working on a scared gear or something' I thought.

"I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that those two attacked you first and you retaliated and killed them in self defense"

"That is true" I replied instantly

"And you turn the one that is smart enough to surrender into a devil?"

"That is also true" I nodded.

He looked at me for a bit and his eyes widen "You're the son of the current Beelzebub aren't you?"

"Indeed I am"

"That could explain how you have the power to cover half the town in rain at such a young age." he said a bit surprised. "I know what you're going to do so just name your price" he continued a bit more seriously this time.

'DAMN! Never thought I'd get the opportunity this early, this is almost exactly like the way I met Nurarihyon.' I thought as I internally smirked.'

I thought for a bit as I answered.

"Two things, firstly I'll be going back to the underworld, then to Britain. I'll only be back in Japan after a year or so. I want you to train her up during those time since I don't have of a way to train up her holy-light" I said surprising the two.

"A surprising request but very doable" he nodded.

"Lastly, I have a sacred gear I want and I've heard that Grigori has a way to extract sacred gear from it's host and give it to someone else even if they aren't human"

""I don't know where you get that information from, but I won't asked. You want me to help get that sacred gear for you?" he asked guessing what I was going to ask.

"The method, I can do the rest myself, also don't worry I don't really care about the other researches, just the way to extract and obtain sacred gear is all I want"

He pondered for a minute before he finally agreed.

"I did not expect those requests." he commented

"I didn't want to ask for something that could worsen the relationship between us." I answered.

He nodded "Very smart of you. I'll be taking my leave then, come with me Raynare-san we don't want to disappoint your new boss do we?"

She looked at me weirdly, I just smiled "Work hard, you have good potential, don't waste it" I told her. She nodded slightly and followed him.

Man I feel like Ash when he releases or give away one of his pokemon.

"Time to clean the bodies up and leave this place" I sigh out.

<A few minutes later>

'I can finally go back home!' I thought happily as I prepared the teleportation circle.

"I'm ho--" *GUH!*

"WELCOME HOME BABY BOY!!" Mom immediately appeared before me and pulled me into a tight hug.

"Home sweet home" I muttered between her bosom

"Hi dad" I said as I remove myself from mom.

"Ho~ I guess I won't be surprising you anymore" he said from behind me, ruffling my hair.

"No, I don't think you will" I replied smiling.

"I miss you~"

"I missed you too mom" I replied

She beamed as she took a second to look over me and said "I can tell you've got a lot stronger than before"

"Indeed, what exactly did you do?" dad ask curiously.

"Training with the Leader of the East Yokai Faction in Japan" I replied casually.

"..."

"..."

"I'll be taking a bath, see you two later" I said chuckling at their stun looked.
