Reception
" Good Morning Miss Park."
Lina was greeted by Mrs. Feng in the reception area.
Mrs. Feng, the middle aged lady was in the charge of managing this home with her husband. She was making arrangements with the recipient girl when Lina entered.
" Good morning to you too Martha. How are you?"
" I'm fine but what happened to you?" Mrs. Feng asked seeing her scowled face.
" Miine was bad." Lina replied in a disappointed tone.
" What made you unhappy this morning , child? " Mrs. Fang affectionately hugged her and patted on her shoulder in a motherly way.
"Nothing Ayi. Met some thief on the way. And ayi!!! For the nth time I'm telling you if you call me 'Miss Park' again I'm not gonna come back here again. "
Lina cutely pouted from her embrace. Mrs. Feng's soothing motherly patts were able to lower her rage.
Martha aka Mrs. Feng laughed wholeheartedly.
" Okay madam Lina. I'll remember that. But if sir came to know about this , I might loose my job so as your uncle. Because...."
The rest of the words stayed in her mouth as Lina closed her mouth with her hand hurriedly in panick.
"Shhh... Ayi!!
Lina whispered near her ear and eyed the receptionist who was keenly listening to their conversation.
"Daddy wouldn't mind you know right. And trust me he will be happy as well. Please ayi. I know it's my workplace but I can't help it. And now stop dragging daddy. Even the walls have ears here. "

Poor Mrs. Feng was startled after following her stare. She intimatingly eyed the receptionist. Mrs. Fang felt guilty. She was almost going to reveal a crucial secret which should not be revealed.
Mrs. Feng and her husband were among the few people Nanxian Park trusted most with the project and valued their opinions regarding the whole project.
Even before the infamous separation happened in the Dong family, Nanxian was about to be named as the next CEO in a few years. He decided to prove his worth by privately investing in numerous projects including in these grain fields.
25 years ago he started " Happiness Hill Project". It was his beloved René's brainchild. Knowing that his father would never invest in such projects, Nanxian made investment with the little money he made doing part time jobs during his stay in the states. He never let his Know about these projects.
After two years , as the project just started to bloom, Nanxian was thrown out of the family. He had to leave for the states with René for her safety. (that's a story for later.)
In those worst time; 8 of his employees stood by his side even after his lose. The rest left since he had no support from the Dong family.
Despite their not so well background those eight employees handled the project as much they could do after his departure. Nanxian worked hard from the states to launch the products in the international markets while the rests did a fantastic job in the C-country by further expanding the buisness. Thus, nine of them together made it possible to what it was today.
Feng Yu, Mrs. Feng's husband was one of them. The nine of them had close bond which was growing stronger day by day. To Nanxian, they were more than colleagues, they were family.
Mrs. Feng met Lina for the first time during the Nanxian and Isha's wedding. It was the bond between the two daughters of her boss left her amused. Martha had seen them growing up in front of her eyes. They came a long way.
Martha was so busy in chatting with Lina, he even forgot that this child of her boss didn't like to reveal her background like her father.
Martha tightly hugged Lina and caressed her hair. Her eyes were full of affection.
" Okay dear Nana. I understand. Forgive this old Ayi now."
Lina laughed hard seeing the puppy eyed Mrs. Feng from her embrace.
" En.... Ayi...! You are not that old yet. Take good care of yourself. You are getting thinner. Eat well. Ayi, mom misses you. Come home sometime. "
" Yeah will do for sure. Say hi to Mrs. Park from me. I'll make a call to her then. " Mrs. Feng promised her.
" Oh my gosh! Lina!!! Xiao Nana!! you have eyes only on your Ayi. No one remember this old man nowadays. You forgot this old man."
Lina and Mrs. Feng broke the hug and turned back to see the man making complaints.
" Hello uncle Feng. How are you? How can I ever forget you my Old Feng?* Lina ran towards him and hugged the man.
Mrs. Feng had tears in her eyes seeing her running to his embrace just like old times. Rini and Lina would run to her husband whenever they met.
The childless Feng couple loved the pair of sisters so much.
" I'm fine Lina. Missed you." Feng Yu patted her forehead and pinched one cheek. " You lost so much weight! are you dieting??"
" Ah.. no Uncle. You know college and classes... blah.. blah.. blah..." Lina concealed her emotions with a practiced perfect smile.
" Yeah yeah yeah... I totally get it. Seems like I have to inform boss about you. As you surely will not listen to me... " Feng Yu sneered and adjusted his specs. Mrs. Feng could not control her smile.
" Don't tell dad. Please uncle. Pretty please? I promise I'll take care of myself." Lina looked at him with puppy eyes.
"No worries. Old Ye is enough for you today. He'll surely update your father even if I don't. " Feng Yu continued.
" Ah.. Nana... old Ye is throwing tantrum as usual. He was behaving unusual for the last few days. He is yet to take his medicines today. [He] just kept saying 'I'll eat those pile of bitter shits if only Lina comes.' He missed you the most Nana. He is waiting for you."
" Where is he now?" Lina asked anxiously observing Feng Yu's expression. Her mind was a mess. ' What could have happened to him.'
