: Flashback (2)

Prof. Shin encountered another incident near after 3 months of that accidental meeting on his way back from morning walk session near the lakes inside the college campus which again stirred up the previous one.

The Professor used to live with his wife in the staff quarters in the college campus for the half of the weekdays.

The whole University campus was huge with three artificial lakes and lots of parks and bridges inside. The views were too good to be true. Life was good inside the campus.

It was a normal winter morning. Soothing sunrays just started to flicker. Prof. Shin along with Prof. Jing and Prof. Xi were getting fresh morning vibes of the sun on the bank of the lake after finishing their routine jogging. This was their relaxing time of the day when they used to chat around things just like their old college days.

Prof Xi was as usual complainning about her wife's expenses. Prof. Shin noticed a person sitting with an easel and canvas not too far from them.

The person wearing black hoodies was busy in painting something. On a closer look he noticed the petite figure was drawing the serene sunrise seen across the lake .

The person was nodding head to the beat of the headphone hidden under his hoodie. Suddenly the hoodie came undone with the strong winter wind and revealed her loose jet black hair.

It was such a peaceful scenario.Too good to be true.

After a while , the girl stood up folding the easel and the canvas. She put on a cap, took her peculiar looking backpack and turned to leave .

She didn't even notice that 3 renound professors were weirdly looking at her. The girl walked away jamming to her own world.

" Who on earth was that girl ? Did You guys see the picture? Amazing...! Just increadible." Prof. Xi was spellbound .

"Yeah! Is she for real ? Her drawing is so mesmerizing.. She might be someone famous... Look at the painting man.. Amazing" Prof. Jing could not suppress his excitement.

"But.... what's that girl doing inside the campus...? " Prof. Jing was surprised.

Prof. Shin nodded his head. "Right.." He oddly found something similar to the mysterious person but to where and whom he couldn't figure out

None was able to see her face hidden behind the cap.

" She might be a student here.. classes for new batch started few weeks back.." Prof. Xi stated as a matter of fact.

" Yeah.. Right.. Morning classes has started for the first year students. She might be one of those new students..." Prof. Jing also thought so.

"We should keep her in check. Z medical college is going to have another jewel added in its crown." Prof. Xi exclaimed in joy.

"Yes.. Xiao Feng... I also think so.. The new batch seems to have lots of potential. Ah yes... Xiao Shin You must be proud of him... Your nephew... He is indeed a jewel." Prof. Jing patted Prof. Shin's shoulder.

" Yes. I'm proud of him too. He went through a lot. All alone.A self made man indeed. But please.. no need to give him extra care just because you guys have known his entire childhood or because of his identity or anything. Just treat him like every other student. I want him to have a normal life here. I don't want our relationship to bring any burden upon the young fella. He has suffered a lot already."

Prof. Shin worried about Yang a lot.

It was very difficult to bring him out of his shell. He was still suffering from PTSD following his accident. He was afraid of being in limelights. Recurrent nightmares were his regular companion. Prof. Shin was could not help but be careful.

"Don't worry. We all are here right? We don't have enough backbones to expose young master Lu ." The two professors assured him.

The three old pals laughed at the joke.

Prof. Shin again came accross that ' mysterious girl from the morning at the parking lot. The girl was riding a scotty. He recogniseda familiar bagpack from the morning on her shoulder.

The girl had stopped her bike near his car and removed her helmet and put her jet black hair in a bun looking at her reflection on the window glass of his car and again drove off wearing her helmet.

Prof. Shin was surprised to see a certain familiar mixed race face through the transparent window glass.

Later that night as usual, his wife was talking about some drama where the lead actress came back after being disappeared for long with a new look and attire. Something about that reminded him of certain someone from the orphanage.

He was confronted by his wife immediately when he told her about his suspicion.

" Are you sure you saw her ?"

"Don't know yet honey. But practically both have different personalities. If I found some strange familiarity between them." The professor was not sent percent sure.

" I told you this is destiny. Lord Buddha finally blessed us. It is his sign. You met her again. see."

"Why didn't you chase after her? You should have at least asked her name. How you can be so irresponsible?"

" Our Yang... His future.. It's once in a millennium chance. "

"Hubby! I don't know anything! You have to find her. If she is the same girl... Our Yang... it's all depends on you now. Find her as soon as possible. " Mrs. Shin gave him ultimatum.

Prof. Yang stood there listening to his wife's ramblings. There are may persons in the world with similar features. How could he found her again?

How can he say he was not even sure if it was the same girl or not. This girl was complete opposite of the previous one. If the foreigner of thay was the gentle spring breeze, this new girl was epitome of summer wind.

Alas. He was too afraid to admit his fault about blurtung out all these to her wife. Now he had to find out this girl. Poor Prof. Shin sighed in grief.
