"Sophie, what's happening? Why all this?" he asked, wanting to know where it started from.

"I keep on disappointing you," Emily finished for her. Her blood was boiling. Was this a fucking joke? Did she not realise how much turmoil she went through because of her? Constantly being worried, paranoid, wondering if she was up to no good.

"Yes, okay?! So what?" Sophie asked, becoming defensive as she stood up and stumbled a little bit because she was dizzy from the pills she took. No one made a move to catch her. "I'm sorry I'm such a burden, Emily. I'm sorry you guys almost missed your exam because of me! And I'm sorry I keep dragging you down with me!"
