95 Chapter 89- Floor 3: Conclusion?

Erik Lehnsherr, generally known as Magento, couldn't believe his eyes.

In the past years, he has met several mutants through his venture to improve this society. Many of those mutants possessed the ability to become something more...something extreme. However, the emergence of Sentinels or their personal greed ruined those talents.

However, none of them seemed as confident and phenomenal as the ones fighting against the Sentinels like they were merely clay dolls.

Erik didn't have any sensory mastery, however, he could perceive by the amount of Sentinels dropping to the ground, that a one-sided battle was ensuing. And the person responsible for the slaughter was gallantly standing on his black wyvern while commanding the battlefield on his terms.

The creature fighting along with the man, was something the old Magneto would have desired to possess. However, the current Erik, could only witness the sight of the two fighting side by side, in awe.

Not to talk about the young man standing at the edge of the fort, who seemed the most eye-catching personality currently available for every person around.

Not only was he able to create a sense of comfort amongst the other mutants through his silly jokes, but the confidence he carried against his foes was remarkable.

'There was a time...' Magneto was somehow seeing himself in that glasses-wearing boy. His demeanor, his effortless way of battle...everything made Magneot's blood boil. However, being a changed person, Magneto no longer held the adrenaline to go out there and show why the name Magneto, was so infamous back in the day.

Regardless, by watching the two new arrivals, Erik felt a sense of relief.

"Database doesn't show any of their identity on the wanted list, nor do any unregistered Mutants have any profile with those faces...who in the seven heavens, are they?" Hearing the ranting of the Iceman, Erik allowed a small smile to lift the edges of his lips, as he murmured,

"Allies."

****

There was nothing that Erik exaggerated.

Jin-Woo showed his brutality by welding a variety of weapons, by utilizing the ring Haru gave him.

His favorites were daggers and the fact that they returned to his finger in the form of a ring, even if he threw it miles away, just worked for the best equipment he could have ever asked for.

*SLASH*

Dodging the gunshots using the ring as a shield, Jin-Woo threw his own dagger and shot the Sentinel right in the middle of its face; making it lose its momentum.

[KHEEEEKKK!!]

The Ant King, who was stationed nearby, finished the rest of the job by using its elongated claw to bisect the enemy into two and lashing for its brethren.

Jin-Woo also didn't remain idle to enjoy the show of his soldier killing another bot. He twirled on his feet and raised his hand to grab the incoming punch of the Sentinel.

"Not too fast." The chilly smile of the future shadow monarch could even freeze the air, as he gripped the Sentinel's hand, surpassing its resistance. The metallic fist of the Sentinel started contorting under the otherworldly force. Before the inhuman adversary could employ its second arm, Jin-Woo elevated his left hand, unfolding the ring into a hammer-like form. With all his strength, he brought down the weapon, delivering a powerful blow to vanquish the enemy.

**BOOOOOM**

A resounding echo reverberated as the advancing Sentinels were forcefully repelled by the backlash. The intended target, now incapacitated, lost its ability to maintain a standing position.

Jin-Woo freed his other hand and turned the ring into a sword, before slashing the Sentinel into countable pieces.

The Hunt finally seemed to be nearing its end.

[Target: 219/300]

[Time remaining: 20 minutes]

Seeing the time remaining, Haru frowned.

It wasn't that Jin-Woo was less capable than what he expected. Truth be told, Haru didn't think Jin-Woo would even reach hundred and fifty in the time allotted. After all, it was not like he was just slicing some mindless creatures but, fighting against adaptable and cunning robots, who could change their course of action, based on their foes.

He wasn't helping his Sunbae in any form since Haru genuinely wanted his senior to become stronger.

The fact that Haru allowed Jin-Woo to behead two Monarchs must have allowed him to level up, but he still wasn't on par with his canon counterpart. However, it was no longer true, since looking at his current form, Haru knew the motive of inviting Jin-Woo to this trip had already succeeded.

"This way....it seems the Headquarters might need to send a whole new battalion. Look, there are only three ships remaining." As Warpath stated, in a much calmer tone, everyone noticed how the amount of warships had reduced by less than half already.

It was nothing but a feat, worth homing a memory in everyone's mind who witnessed it.

However, against what everyone thought, Haru raised his hand and shouted,

"SUNBAEEEE!!! COME BACK! IT'S OVER!"

Jin-Woo, who clearly heard his junior, raised his brows in surprise since he thought he would finish things up before retreating.

However, remembering how this mission was time-limited, Jin-Woo retracted his weapon and called Beru back as well.

The mutants were shocked to see Jin-Woo land back on the fort, with the creature beside him. Soon all the shadows disappeared as Jin-Woo asked,

"What happened?" Despite very little understanding of what Jin-Woo said all of them had similar queries.

Just why did Haru ask to cease fire when the enemies were about to be entirely annihilated?

"We are short on time." As those words left his lips, Haru lifted off the surface and began ascending just perpendicular to his previous spot.

Every mutant along with Magneto and Iceman, who joined the others, looked at Haru with their half attention diverted toward the incoming ships of the Sentinels.

However, before they could advance any further, Haru raised both hands and influenced the movement of the enemy ships without feeling any source of resistance.

"Is he...?!" Blink could only exclaim as she watched the scene unfolding right in front of her eyes with utmost disbelief.

"...he is controlling those ships..." Magneto filled in, as he found his eyes also stretched a little as he witnessed the boy achieving something which he could have never.

Those things weren't made of metal, yet Haru was manipulating their movements freely and aligned them against each other with their broader parts facing Haru. The Sentinels, who were trying to escape the ship were also locked inside by an invisible barrier that they couldn't break.

Once all three ships were aligned, Haru brought his index and middle finger in front of his lips,

"Curse Technique Amplification: Blue."

The air began to tremble as those incomprehensible words left the throat of the young man. The earth shook, the castle trembled, and every mutant felt a very alarming energy radiating from the boy.

However, none of it stopped Haru from continuing,

"Curse Technique Reversal: Red."

By now, only Magento and Jin-Woo were the only ones still standing on their feet with their eyes continuously trained on Haru. The air around Haru turned chaotic and every single being around him could feel the severity of this spell.

Finally, pointing his fingers toward the enemy forces, Haru deployed one of his most devastating spells,

"Hollow: Purple."

A/N:- Drop a comment if you liked the development. I could have extended the arc but again, not everyone is a fan of X-men, so yeah.
