A/N: - Some people were wondering about Haru's mana and such. Well, I did mention in an earlier chapter that his mana increases every second he doesn't utilize it so you can guess, at what level Haru must be at this time around.
Well, enjoy the chapter ~

"I never knew...your son is that capable... " Inside the headquarters of the Japanese Hunter Association sat a group of people, with their eyes currently glued to the TV where the live broadcast of the Jeju-do was being shown.
The person who shared his astonishment was none other than the Chairman of the Association, Matsumoto Shigeo.
The middle-aged raven-haired man was aware that Reiji had adopted a child years ago and he had transferred to Korea for some reason but the fact that Haru was an S-rank and so insanely strong at that...indeed something Matsumoto was expecting to hear from Reiji.
Matsumoto already had a lot on his plate to pay much attention to Haru. But now looking back, Sugimoto repents his decision not to keep tabs on the teenage boy.
"I myself didn't know...Chairman. I just knew that he's an S-rank awakened but his skillset and abilities were something I have been oblivious about as well." There was no deceit in his words since Reiji actually never pried on Haru's life up to the point where it could become uncomfortable for his son.
"You should have kept an eye on him, Sugimoto-san. What if something happens to him when he's working with such a weak country?"
Even for a second, Reiji's eyes sharpened at the statement but he soon retracted his scorn from Japan's Pride and the renowned hunter—Ryuji Goto.
Reiji didn't reply at all since he knew he might let his real thoughts at the comment slip up. He just was waiting for the right time before he could get out of this hole of snakes.
Fixating his eyes back on the TV, Reiji's eyes warmed up seeing his son swaying away every danger like it was nothing more than a fly in his eyes.
His chest pumped with pride as a thought emerged from deep inside his heart, 'You couldn't have made me and your mom any more proud, son....'

Unaware of his father's thoughts, Haru continued his assault on the hordes of ants. He wasn't using Mist Dispersion on each of them to allow Jin-Woo to recruit those ants in his army.
"Now let's see... " As he dropped to the ground, he began to feel the vibration emerging from nearby, signifying that an intense battle was transpiring between Jin-Woo and Beru.
The inner fan lying dormant inside of Haru tingled slightly and urged Haru to marvel at the legendary battle between the two but he held back.
He needed to clear his side as well. The remnants of the ants were being taken care of by the other hunters. Since Haru has solely handled the front side, Ma Dong-Wook, Choi Jong-In, and Baek Yoon-Ho have joined forces with Cha Hae-In and the healer Min Byung-Gyu.
The healer was providing the buff and the hunters doing their job masterfully to clean all the ants in their way.
"So only you guys are remaining..."
Stood in front of Haru were four grey scales mutated royal ant guards who were on par with S-rank and behind the small group stood the queen.
Without even understanding their language and not reading their mind, Haru could tell that they were terrified yet their will to fight remained ignited.
'Nah...it would be too easy...' The thought of using Desperado was soon disposed of since it would just end the battle in a blink and Haru didn't want that.
Releasing a little bit of his blood lust, much lesser than the previous time, he tempted the ant generals.
And as he expected, one of them suddenly screeched and advanced toward him at a furious pace with its pincer mandibles rising to slash Haru into pieces.
However, before the ant could have reached more than five meters apart from Haru, the said person launched forward at a terrifying speed with his blade already in hand.
"What the actual fuck... " The cameraman who was still hanging in the air could only mutter such since the place where the aggressor insect stood, suddenly what seemed like lightning erupted, and in a blink, nothing more than bits and pieces of the ant remaining.
The cameraman forgot for a moment that he was filming everything and his curse just now was being telecast over millions of screens.
But most of the viewers had the same reaction since the scene just transpired on the battlefield was nothing but absurd.
'Well...it wasn't bad...' Haru, who just utilized his skill Amatsu Raikou to slash the ant into fine dice nodded in satisfaction before his eyes darted toward the rest of the ante.
"I don't wanna do this all day, so come at me once," Haru whined before the battle between a monster and the pests continued.

On the other side, it already has been more than fifteen minutes since Jin-Woo engaged in battle with the humanoid insect.
The other hunters were keeping the fodder away and Jin-Woo was actively using his necromancy to turn the dead into his soldiers and ordering them to annihilate the remaining creatures.
'It's growing a lot easier now...should I end this farce?' The enjoyment from the battle aside, the reason why Jin-Woo has continued this battle for this long emerges from the fact that he was improving while fighting with the insect.
*SCREECH*
But Jin-Woo had enough since the insect was shouting a lot and it was kind of getting annoying.
Before the Ant kind could have launched itself toward Jin-Woo, the latter utilized his skill, Dominator's Touch, and took hold of the insect before pulling it toward himself.
The insect wasn't able to discern what suddenly happened and why its body wasn't listening to its command but Jin-Woo had nothing to do with such concerns as he readied his dagger.
Once the tall creature neared a certain range, Jin-Woo used his newly developed skill, Mutilation.
*SLASH* *SLASH* *SLASH*
Unreadable trajectories traced around the body of the ant king as Jin-Woo slashed the said insect from hundreds of different angles and sides.
*KHRIK*
The insect was only able to mutter such before it fell to the ground with vitality already leaving its shell. Jin-Woo kept his eyes on his opponent for a good moment, in case it wakes up suddenly and harm someone but when black smoke began to emerge from the insect's body, Jin-Woo knew that now the ant king was destined to fall into the shadow army.
"Haah~It was quite noisy... " Muttering under his breath, Jin-Woo threw his dagger into inventory before his eyes roamed toward the silenced surrounding.
He could no longer sense any ant alive around and the connection with Igrit which allowed him to look at the Island from the skies affirmed his hunch to be right. All the ants were dead including the Queen.
Turning his gaze Jin-Woo found the hunters were gazing at him with a look of admiration and respect but only one guy had a smirk adorning his face and a look of mockery behind his glasses.
"Y'know Sunbae...I expected you to wrap this up a little sooner but well, age must be acting up for you, right~"
Jin-Woo could only shake his head with a smile at Haru's antics which he have gotten used to.
And with that, the raid on Jeju-do comes to an end with no casualty counted.

A/N: - Drop a comment if you liked the chapter. I am not good at writing action scenes so please don't complain 😓
I am writing a new fanfic on Mahouka and would post it most likely on the weekend. Please give it a try.
