Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 148- Toward the end~1

"Hmm?" A sudden jolt ran down her spine as Cha Hae-In removed her earphones and stood up. She was currently at home since there wasn't much work at headquarters today nor she had any raid scheduled.

'This sensation...' Cha Hae-In felt this back then when she was on the Jeju-do, however, this feeling was far more ominous than the ant king.

Her slow steps brought her to the bedroom from where she could see the city beneath—however, the reason for her concern didn't lay in the city beneath her...rather, her eyes were glued to the massive Gate that had appeared in the skies—hovering above Seoul.

The phone from her hand dropped to the ground with her eyes parted wide. However, being an S-ranked and someone who spends most of the time with an immortal, Cha Hae-In has become quite a bit tolerant towards these shocking events.

She hurriedly picked up her phone and was about to call the Association, when suddenly she saw a familiar name with a heart at the end flashing on her screen.

Without a second thought, she picked up the call, "Jin-Woo?"

[Don't leave the house.]

That was all he said before the call was disconnected. Her vigor to go out there and assess the situation cooled down.

Naturally, now that she has received his words she couldn't step out. However, what worried her was this massive Gate. For some reason, Cha Hae-In had a feeling that there was something massive brewing.

*******

"Report." Walking out of his office with a serious look on his face was the Chairman of the Korean Hunter's Association who just heard about the massive Gate, summoned just above their heads.

The current secretary of the Association chief was a young man with grey hair named Yoo Sung-min who disconnected the call and immediately reported to the older one, "We have received the news that a similar Gate has appeared above every major country, at the same time. Although there haven't been any monsters that appeared through it, the readings say that these dungeons are S-ranked."

"Figured much." Go Gun-Hee uttered under his breath.

Almost a year ago an S-rank gate appeared which took the lives of some prominent hunters across the globe and one of the strongest hunters was sent into a coma. At that time something similar occurred and many gates appeared throughout the world. However, those weren't ranging to S-rank.

Things are different and more profound now. Although it takes a week for a dungeon break, handling so many S-ranks even with the time to prepare was nigh impossible.

Unless...

"Where are Hunter Nanase and Hunter Sung?" Hearing the Chairman's words, Sung-min dialed another number and after a brief talk with Woo Jin-Chul, the new secretary reported something shocking,

"Hunter Nanase and Hunter Sung...have suddenly disappeared from the conference hall."

"What?!"

*********

They were in a dimension that was neither the real world nor a dungeon. A world where natural laws of nature don't work and a place that was most suitable for a large-scale battle.

Haru stood with his fingers clasped behind his head and looked at the sky with a thoughtful look. The other person beside him had more of a solemn look as he kept his gaze straight at the individuals who stood before them.

The Frost Monarch stood there with a toothy grin on his face. He was finally reaching the point that he deemed necessary for the destruction of the Shadow Monarch and the damned being whom everyone regard as Infinity.

And the source of his confidence was the being that stood beside him.

Long crimson locks and flaming red eyes stared at Haru without an ounce of fear, elation, or any emotion to say.

The Monarch of Destruction. The King of Dragons, Antares assessed the being who was the reason for those Rulers and Monarchs' terror. Apparently, he was the one who slaughtered the Monarchs to the point of near extinction the last time they fought.

The being who dealt with thousands of monsters and the Monarch of Beginning all alone and within a fraction of a second. Antares has more than one reason to be curious about the being who calls himself Nanase Haruka.

"Where are the others?" Jin-Woo casually asked—clearly not affected much by the presence of the Dragon Monarch. Not only because they were in the Void but also, because there was an ally with Jin-Woo on whom he could rely to take care of the other Monarchs.

There was no plan he had in mind to battle against Antares, however, he desires this battle to happen away from civilians. Both sides held forces that could destroy countries without even aiming for it.

That's why this situation was quite preferable.

"They all are positioned and would act the moment they are told to." The Frost Monarch looked quite happy to declare that.

Jin-Woo raised his brows before asking, "And what about the Rulers? Surely they aren't trying to keep themselves hidden until the end, right?"

The Frost Monarch smirked, "I heard Infinity is quite eager to meet them?" The Monarch counter questioned.

Haru didn't show any reaction and stretched his arms a little before a yawn left his mouth.

"Infinity." Suddenly, the being that has been silent until now spoke up.

Haru looked at the Dragon Monarch before raising his brows in question.

"I have heard about your tales and desire a death battle with you." The Dragon Monarch was quite direct with his wants and needs, Haru noted.

Haru smiled innocently before stating, "Although I would have loved to fight with you, I have promised my Sunbae to let him all the Monarchs."

Raising his hands towards Jin-Woo, Haru uttered.

Antares nodded before he said, "Understood. Then, I would have to bring the Shadow Monarch down to bring you into the arena."

"Wait...but you told us that you would go against Infinity!" Suddenly, the Frost Monarch exclaimed. Anxiety and panic are evident on his face.

Haru chuckled at the display, while the Dragon King released his aura with his eyes narrowed—shutting up the snow elf in an instant.

Suddenly Haru appeared beside the Frost Monarch and draped his hand over his shoulder.

The Frost Monarch was startled but he soon conjured a dagger and tried to stab Haru—only to find the dagger turning into a melted ice cream and soiling his hand.

The Frost Monarch was about to follow with another attack when suddenly he froze up with his arms stuck to his body.

Haru looked toward his Sunbae before waving at him,

"Have fun, Sunbae~"
