111 Chapter 105- Future plans

Just before his transmigration, when Haru met the Goddess just when he was about to depart, she told him something that greatly surprised him.

[Your real mission isn't in the same world where you are going. As such, you will need someone to inherit your powers and retain the balance of the world you would be leaving.]

It didn't take long before Haru understood the real meaning behind those words.

He needed to have a child before he concluded all the incidents in the world he was about to be reborn in.

However, Haru was not a person who would force his lover to give him a child, for a far bigger purpose than just the happiness of becoming a father. And sleeping with any other woman than Jinah never flashed across his mind, even once.

He has been postponing the plans for a child for the future. At least until Jinah wasn't well settled in her life. He didn't want to burden her while she wasn't even twenty years old—that's why he seemed reluctant to have unprotected sex with her in the first place.

But now...Jinah herself asked whether he would hate her if she got pregnant?

An image flashed across his mind in that instance. A glimpse of their possible future where their small children would be running and playing around while Haru and Jinah sat on the bench in the park, holding hands and smiling warmly at them.

The very imagination melted his heart...however, he soon shook himself out of the reverie and asked Jinah,

"Jinah...we are still seventeen. You have so many dreams, which you want to fulfill. There are many places we have to visit....and you..."

"Haru." Jinah held his hand and directed her warm gaze at him.

Her eyes didn't contain any regret or sorrow because of his response. All she was looking for, was simple honesty.

"Tell me...if we have a child, would you not like it."

"But yo-" Before Haru could object she interjected,

"Don't talk about my feelings or dreams and just answer my question honestly. Do you want to have our children?"

Haru was unsure how Jinah was suddenly so curious about this topic, however, he knew that if he went roundabouts about this topic, she might misunderstand or worse, get hurt.

In the end, he could only shake his head up and down.

"Then we are having it."

Hearing Jinah's declaration, which was devoid of any hesitation or stress, made Haru a little restless.

"Jinah...are you really sure about this? What about your parents? Forget about them, Sunbae would hunt me down even after death."

For some reason, Haru couldn't help but recheck whether he has dismantled the Shadow soldier attached to Jinah or not.

Jinah giggled at his reaction before she held his hand firmly and asked, "So, you are not going to listen to their scolding? Can't you lower your head, for my happiness?"

Hearing her words, which were filled with expectations, Haru sobered up as he looked at her in the eyes and told her,

"For you...I can bow in front of anyone."

Jinah's heart raced to hear that before she hugged his arm and sighed in relief.

"Thank you, Haru...I am really lucky to have you in my life."

With slight complications still swirling in his chest, Haru hugged her back as he responded with a hum.

He needed to have a conversation with that Goddess again.

[Next Day]

Haru returned to his hotel room early in the morning. Jinah didn't bring up anything about pregnancy after that, but it didn't seem she was already over with that topic.

Haru was concerned whether the Goddess might have influenced Jinah's mind in some order so that Haru wouldn't delay his future ventures.

'However, if she hasn't done anything to Jinah...and she herself wants to have a baby...' Haru decided to think about it later.

He wasn't an indecisive teenage kid who wanted to run away from taking responsibility. He has lived through almost twenty years now and has seen various things to know the importance of a stable life.

He was an orphan in a past life and always felt left out. However, in this life, he has loving parents, some reliable friends, and also, a very precious life partner. And Haru would do everything in his power to treasure them.

'Haah...I should start preparing.' He had already received a message from his father that everyone was required to report at nine in the Headquarters.

Currently, it was eight in the morning and Haru finally finished bathing and changing clothes.

He has worn his usual black running trousers along with a hoodie and a pair of sneakers. The outfit was more suited for an early morning run, not for a battle. However, Haru felt obstructed with armor and all. He prefers apparel that doesn't hinder his movements.

He received a call from his mother, telling him how Haru had to keep himself away from danger he couldn't fight alone. Although she tried, Haru could hear her sobbing behind the call. After all, which mother would be all right sending their children on a literal battlefield?

He asked Kuroi to look after her in his stead before he finally walked out of the room.

Although Haru had a strange feeling about this raid, there was no chance he would let the people of Japan suffer just because of his slight insecurity.

He knew what was about to happen. He knew how to handle it. He has the strength to make everything right, and now Haru is on the route to making his plans come true.

The battle between the Infinity and the King of Giants, begins!
