Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 100- Friendly spar~2

The battle between Kenzo and Baek Yoon-Ho ended within three minutes, with Kenzo coming out as victor.

It was a given result even though both of them were of the same rank.

The raw physical prowess of Kenzo was on a whole other level if compared to Baek Yoon-Ho or even Ma Dong-Wook. Even after Baek transformed into his beast form, the results were inevitable.

The defeat was so overwhelming that Baek was left stunned before Min Byung-Gyu healed his broken arm and called him out of the ring.

"Don't be disheartened. I am just built unique." With a toothy grin, Kenzo thumped his fist on his chest—much to Baek Yoon-Ho's annoyance. However, he wasn't a sore loser to not take a defeat and make some petty excuses.

Min Byung-Gyu intended to say some words to comfort his senior, but in the end, anything right now would only feel like he was pitying Baek.

"Do your best, Hunter Cha." Baek Yoon-Ho encouraged his fellow hunter with a slightly sullen look as he returned to the others.

Cha Hae-In nodded before she walked inside the arena with a bokken in her hold. A part of her just wanted to spar against another S-rank and know about their strength, and another part of hers wanted to uplift the image of her nation.

'I shouldn't let my emotion ruin my rhythm...' Taking several deep breaths, Cha Hae-In allowed the mana to envelope around her body and sword, as she took her stance.

In response, Tawata Kanae seemed to be a little wary, because the aura, Cha Hae-In was permeating, was heavily different from Baek's.

'I need to end this as soon as possible...' While Kanae was confident in her strength, she didn't know whether she could keep up with it for long. And just like her fellow hunter, Kanae also desires an overwhelming victory against the Korean hunter.

However, she was highly underestimating the capabilities of her opponent.

"Begin!" As Hanekawa slashed her arm to announce the commencement, Kanae launched herself toward Cha Hae-In, with her sword raised over her head—intending to draw a frontal slash.

The speed of the raven-haired was simply incredible, however, the moment she brought her sword down, only the afterimage of Cha remained there; allowing the bokken to slash open air.

Kanae panicked a little before, on instinct, she raised her left hand above her head—just a mere second before a tremendous pressure descended on her forearm.

'She's...fast...and strong...' Kanae winced before she used her leg to kick Cha's abdomen...only to find her leg colliding with nothing but empty air. Even the pressure over her forearm has disappeared without Kanae realizing it.

"The fuck!" Kanae grumbled before she strengthened herself even further and elongated her sword by a meter. The augmentation of the blade was a result of her skill before Kanae pinpointed Cha's next location and launched herself in that direction.

"Sword dance." Mere two words left Cha Hae-In's lips, before a barrage of attacks approached Tawata Kanae—leaving her with no opinion, other than to cease her attack and use her bokken to block them.

"Guh!" Despite trying to block the attacks, Kanae could already feel her blood seeping from different spots.

The onslaught continued for another half a minute, before Kanae snapped.

'Like hell!' Inwardly screaming in agitation, the S-rank Hunter released an aura that defined why she was ranked as such.

The whole arena was enveloped by her rage and the amount of blood lust she was in direction at Cha Hae-In, could have made any lower-ranked hunter, tremble in fear.

"Hunter Tawata, don't forget this is just a spar." Cha Hae-In reminded the hunter in front, in fluent English. The blond sword wielder had a frown on her charming face as she found her opponent, not in the mind to listen to any caution.

"Chain slash!" Without paying any heed to the warning, Kanae held the bokken slanted to her waist before she launched toward Cha.

Hae-In's eyes slightly widened as she saw the elevation of pace from Kanae before she was forced to block the incoming attack.

Kanae traveled past Cha Hae-In however, the attack she intended was already delivered and successfully blocked as well. However, the nature of this attack lay in the amount of slash Kanae could deliver in the minimum amount of time.

Dashing around Cha Hae-In in a hexagonal pattern, Kanae sent a herd of air slashes, from random directions. The route of her attack and the spot where the attack landed, always varied; leaving the opponent utterly confused...just like Cha Hae-In seemed to be.

'I am destined to win now!' Kanae inwardly rejoiced as she intended to continue her assault.

However,

"Tremor!" Cha Hae-In, suddenly abandoned blocking and stabbed her bokken on the surface, before a series of rings-like shockwaves traveled across not only the arena but the whole floor.

Some of the hunters including the translators fell to the ground, and of course, the person nearest to the attack, also missed her footing—leaving Kanae on the ground.

"You lost, Hunter Tawata." Without a fragment of exhaustion on her face, but pure disappointment, Cha Hae-In declared.

The position of her bokken tip was pressed against Kanae's nape—a strike that could easily have ended her life.

Kanae growled, however before she could try striking back, Goto's voice resonated heavily across the arena,

"Stop embarrassing yourself any further, and retreat." Kanae visibly trembled upon hearing the warning, before she swatted the bokken away from her neck and walked out of the ring.

Cha Hae-In sighed at the childish display before she also returned to her team members.

"You did well, Ms. Cha. I am not sure whether I have seen any warrior with such tremendous skill."

Haru's compliment made Cha Hae-In smile before she thanked him.

"Now it's your turn. Good luck." Even though Baek said that, he knew Haru didn't need the luck to win this.

Back when Haru declared that he would clear Jeju-do, Baek ridiculed him, and ended up being defeated by the teenager, in the most devastating manner.

Surprisingly, Haru took a bokken for himself despite his profession suggesting, that he was a mage.

"Are you looking down on me?" Kei's frosty voice reverberated clearly for others and of course, for Haru to hear.

Attaching the wooden sword to his hip, Haru looked at the person with clear bewilderment, before he asked,

"Isn't it obvious?"

Hearing the response, which contained no mockery but utter solemnity, forced Kei's eyes to widen.

However, soon his agitation kicked in as he clenched his fist in frustration.

"Akari, prepare to heal a frost statue." Hearing the declaration, which was more like a warning to Haru, Kei readied himself.

In response, Haru just smirked at him.

Even before the match began the blood lust Kei was extruding, concerned Raeji. Despite knowing that his son was strong, any father would get worried to see their child facing off against one of the strongest hunters in the world.

Meanwhile, Goto was inwardly annoyed as well, seeing the boy's cockiness in its full glory. The way Haru has been acting all this time has kept Goto on edge, and if not Kei, Goto was prepared to discipline the child by himself.

Regardless of whatever the audience was thinking, Hanekawa raised her right arm, before announcing,

"Begin!"

"Die!" Kei's shout was just a second after Hanekawa's, however, before the man could release one of the most deadly spells in his arsenal, he found something hot across his chest.

'Blood...?' Tilting his head, Kei couldn't believe his eyes as he found his eyes turning blurry because of the amount of blood, his body had already wasted.

"When-Khuk!" Kei couldn't discern what just happened but from the looks of it, Haru had slashed him in milliseconds after the battle began.

It was not a battle, but a declaration. A statement, that signified who was superior here.

*DHAK*

As Kei's body fell to the ground, under everyone's horrified gaze, Haru asked his father,

"Dad...didn't you tell me he is one of the strongest around here? Such a disappointment."
