The Raid

When the Golems were taken care of by Cha hae-in the best female hunter. They proceed to the next stage walking through the stone ruin tiles following these paths to where it leads them. The moment they set foot at the top of the tile, there was a big Gate with two paladins statues standing by near the gate on the rear corner.

"Everyone stop!" The guild master shouted.

"Look over there, when you ever set foot on that area, those things will attack you no matter what, so be on guard"

The ultimate soldier aims his fire magic, ready to launch a blast towards the two statues.

"Hunters get ready," he said.

"Sir!"Everyone shouted.

He released his flaming blast to the two statues standing by, suddenly the paladin's statues somehow defended themselves by using their shield and raising their stone weapons.

"They block it, I wonder if they're the same statues from back then" he smiled terribly.

"Sir, I don't think it's the same if we can just confirm it if they have a high resistance to magic and physical attacks, "another hunter said.

"let's confirm it then by destroying them... if what you said is true then we'll retreat immediately, I don't want to lose my members ever again"

"Let's experiment shall we, if these statues don't have resistance to our attacks then we will continue this raid"

The stone paladins are running towards the hunters, raising their weapons. The tanks were well guarded with their shield while casting their skill name "Taunt".

The monsters began to focus on the tanks on each side while the others attack between sides to flank them.

The paladin came near and swung its sword-swinging straight at the hunter's shield formation.

The hunters were heavily strike fallen to the ground due to the statue's heavyweight attack.

"That was a heavy attack!"

"We need assistance immediately!"

The blonde woman appeared from behind the statue's back. She slash multiple times in the left arm and jump back using the paladin back to retreat. She managed to cut its arm and fell to the ground, broke into pieces of rubles.

"It fell... the statue's arm fell," hunter 3 said.

"So quick," hunter 2 said.

"I didn't expect this to happen," hunter 1 said.

"Hunter Cha hae-in is a badass" hunter 4 said.

"That's our vice guild master for yeah," hunter 5 said.

"It seems we're continuing this raid after all... Hunters can you give me an opening" The ultimate soldier said.

"Yes, guild master," hunter 2 said.

The hunters from the frontlines ran towards the statue to make an opening for him to cast another fire magic again.

The statue with the lost arm used its shield as a weapon dashing through the hunters' formation.

The hunters stop running and notice the statue is heading the ultimate soldier.

"What the?!"

"Everyone ran!"

"Wait don't! we have to block it, if our guild master gets hit, it will be a disaster"

"Shit!"

"How should we supposed to do?"

"Block it with our lives of course"

"Prepare to land an impact!"

The tankers stand by, protecting the ultimate soldier as the woman in blond hair dash under the statue's engine legs.

The statue fell to the ground and crashed landed with half cracks of its body trying to stand up but the woman in front of the statue sprint ready to attack toward its head.

The statue loses sight and turns his head sideways gazing at its surrounding area.

the statue was preparing its next attack till then it realized, she was behind the statue again.

She slashes through its head going bottom to the ground like a splitting watermelon in half. The first statue was defeated by the blonde woman.

"You guys ok," the blond woman said.

"Yeah, we're alright"

"Me as well," Choi Jong-in said with a joke.

"Shut up sir, I know you're alright"

"So harsh," the ultimate soldier said.

"Cha hae-in was able to defeat it by herself"

"Man.. she's the best hunter among us in our guild"

The second statue was also holding the same shield but a different weapon. Its weapon was a spiky club that can crush hunters into pancakes.

The other hunters move quickly by splitting up in pairs going to the side to get rid of the shield.

The statue was about swung its club to the left stopping the hunter's movements on the left side, the tanker made it in time and defend its heavy strike holding off the statue club attack.

The other hunters sprint fast pushing the statue going straight to the wall still attacking.

The blonde woman joins in by dashing randomly going faster than anyone while casting a skill "Sword dance" beginning in a flash of light in incredible speed going off the other statue arm, able to penetrate it easily.

The statue's other arm with a shield fell and got destroyed.

The ultimate soldier cast a powerful blast "Flame spear" bursting out towards the statue.

The statue tried to protect itself by using its club however the blasted land its stomach and got destroyed.

BOOM!

The firepower of that blast was strong enough to destroy the statue into stone bits of smithereens.

"Oops... I overdid it again"

"Hey, boss you almost killed me!"

"But your still alive so we don't have any problems is their"

Everyone sat down on the stone ground with exhaustion. The female hunter was about to walk away but the man in glasses called out her name.

When all hunters entered the Dungeon the gate behind them has begun to close down on its own.

"DON'T LET THE GATE GET CLOSED! DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO STOP IT!"

The Hunters ran towards the gate that was initially about to be closed, running faster heading treat the closing gate. One of the hunters summon a rock golem spirit that appeared near the gate trying to hold on to the gate as long it can but suddenly the summon disappeared before the gate sham before someone catch it up.

"What?!" someone who cast the rock golem shouted.

"NOO! was too late" one of the hunters almost reach the gate.

The gate was completely locked out and cannot be open by itself. The hunters were stuck inside the gate for a while forming in a circle.

"Hunters, Formation on the double!"

The hunters formed in a semi-circle.

"Get ready!'

"Shit were going to die"

"We're not... mages ready your summons "the ultimate soldier shouted.

"Sir we can't, we were unable to summon all the sudden"

The unexpected event happen so quickly, the ground was shaking through the surface area like a magnitude. The hunters almost broke their formation due to its shaking ground.

When they stay in formation, the shake stops but the ground explodes like a stick of dynamite from the mine exploded making a gigantic hole left out.

The hunters felt intense ready for a fight with sweats preparing for the worst scenario to come. the magician readies their spell when the target jumps into the surface.

Suddenly the explosion was over and left a hole in there.

After that, a giant stone hand came out to the left and then slowly to the right.

The Gigantic Statue climbed out to the surface area in glowing red lines across the whole stone body and an orange crystal crest on the chest layer of its body. It has a giant hammer behind the giant statue and its eyes glow red with a powerful aura coming out.

Everyone attacked working together. the hunters with speed movement dash in the sideways with the use of their skills to cut the giant statue legs while the magician cast some of their magic aiming at the giant chest and head.

The statue's face was exploded by his fire magic, it's hot no one can survive his fire magic except the hunters who were more powerful than him.

The statue moved while grabbing its hammer.

When the smoke of the fire blast fading away the giant face was still fine without a little scratch. The man in glasses and the others were astonished in quiver looking at the moving statue staring down the hunters like an insect.

"We can't survive this"

"We're gonna die"

"None of our attacks had no effect! "

The statue said something before it swing its hammer to the ground

All hunters in the group, hit everything they've got to the unbeatable giant to find a way to defeat it.

She manages to catch up to the statue's head and stab it in the eye. it became furious on its flaming eyes in outrage.

The giant punch its face to kill the woman who tried to stab its eye but she went down immediately before the giant smashes its face.

She meets up with the others to give some information about the giant.

"I think... I manage to hurt it"

"Where did you hit it?"

"On the eye"

"Alright, everyone aims at the giant's eye"

"Ok"

"It's payback time" he ran while raising his duel sword.

"Were gonna cast our magic right away, we need a distraction "

"On it!"Heavy equip hunter said.

The hunters with shields ran toward it and taunts the giant statue away from the magician. The hunter shouted at the giant with insult, not taunting.

"Hey! you big ugly over here"

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Stop messing around, It's not like gonna that giant is gonna listen to you idiot"

The giant turns its head staring at the two hunters in glowing eyes

Some hunters near giant couldn't able to escape the range of the splash attack processing begun to land the ground with no chance of escaping.

The statue releases its hammer heading bottom the ground till it Smashes with a powerful impact causes the ground to shake while creating a lot of cracks almost reach the stone gate and it destroyed the four pillars plus with powerful sound waves knockout some hunters down.

BAAAM! Phhuuush...

Some hunters were killed due to their foolishness and some were killed from powerful waves enough to knock them down to the wall while the others manage to survive but were severely injured.

"No way"

"Some of our hunters died"

"How many casualties?"

"6 of us died and 4 injuries sir"

"Yes sir... we can't escape this it's too powerful"

"Dammit... Is this really A-Class Gate, support heal the injured!"

The blond woman started to pose like an athletic ready to run towards the shield. When the red hair man blast the core with the help of other hunters shooting magic, they were able to hit it and made the statue kneel.

She started running straight, towards the hunter's shield.

The hunter notices her running towards him, he kneels and puts his shield on top of his head while she jumps on the shield leap off and she gives the signal.

The mage hunter cast his air magic arrow going straight at her.

Then she grabbed the magic arrow and use it as her horse to reach it.

The giant shook its head and observed the woman riding the air magic arrow going its core. The hunter was surprised by looking at her holding the arrow as a jet plane.

The giant made its move by swinging its hammer to the right where the female hunter was holding the magic arrow.

After that swing, the magic arrow was destroyed by the giant hammer but she manages to dodge it by leaping the air magic arrow going to the giant's hammer, and sprint. She noticed the left arm is still attached to the core.

"Tch, I can't hit it because of the arm"

"Don't worry we've got your back"

The hunters force the giant's left hand detached.

The giant swings its hammer to the right heading towards the hunters taunting skill.

The man with fire magic cast a fire blast at its face, the hunters with taunt skill keep their distance away from the giant and escape its grasp.

[ELIMINATE THE ENEMY NONE SHALL LIVE BEFORE THE KING]

"Let's see about that"

He cast it again making the giant got furious. The giant walks slowly to the hunter who cast fire magic, trying to eliminate him.

Its left arm detached its protective core trying to capture the hunter with fire magic.

The ultimate soldier kept its distance from the giant's left arm by leaping away till the core was left wide open, a perfect opportunity to get a direct hit.

"Perfect"

She sprints faster while raising her sword near her face preparing her skill "Blade of Light" casting again and leap to its core.

She moves forward with her sword and manages to land a hit.

Ting!

She pierce the giant's core that took a lot of damage forcing it to break. The core began to crack reaching out the surface area until to its inner core.

CRACK!

The Giant statue move like a broken machine got electrified starting to say something like the system could.

[ERROR... ERROR...ERROR...(chorus) A. I SYSTEM HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN...I REPEAT(x2) ... DEACTIVATED THE SLEEPING COFFIN...SUCCESSFULLY BREACHING THE SLEEPING COFFIN FOR... THE AWAKENING OF THE SLEEPING K...I...NG...... ]*Shutting down noise*

the Giant began to fell straight to the ground and got destroyed.

CRASH!

The hunters manage to survive in exhaustion sitting down on the ground tirelessly painful while celebrating victory.

"Phew, that was closed"

"Finally it's already over"

"I survived thank the gods"

"Good grief, the Giant statue was scary strong"

"Our powers alone wouldn't make a difference without an S-rank hunter among us"

Some of the hunters ran towards the gate but it was heavily closed cannot be opened by them.

The coffin suddenly opens on its own.

The hunters raise their weapons and cover their shields in a semi-circle.

Then the unexpected monster step foots the stone ground.

The monster was about to speak to hunters with a fearsome aura.

[Who are you humans, why have you come here?]

"We're here to hunt down who is a threat to our society"

[OH, such guts coming from a human who comes here to kill me, I'm impressed... Tell me human if you were able to kill me what will be the result of the outcome]

"I don't know about the outcome of your defeat but... There will be a lot of casualties from which of our hunters will die here, despite all of that, we're at least able to protect others who live in peace of our society and our country"

When the red-haired man with glasses said it to the heavy rusty armor monster. It began to say something bad with a scary face when he heard the word "peace".

[Peace You say hmmm.... you dare say that ridiculous thing in front me, I must say, it's a quiet joke coming from a mere human....]

"A joke?"

[you know why is it a joke because there is no such thing as peace!]

He remained silent.

[The peace you always believe in are just an illusion, if you wanted to achieve peace, you have to face the bloody war.... no matter what you do or how your belief the possibility of the outcome, you can't escape the grasp of the reality of this cruel world]

The hunters felt intense anger coming from the powerful monster that standing before them.

[The reason I created this dungeon is to escape from war, I've been killing my enemies for many decades and yet no matter the result the shed of blood of my enemy from the bloody war will always continue]

"What war are you talking about?"red hair man Said.

[Oh, you don't know well... Why should I tell you that?]

"Because of my curiosity's sake, I usually ask immediately without a reason so forgive me for asking a traumatic question?"

[Is that so... how inconvenient]

Awfully quiet for few seconds on the empty hall.

[Even I should tell you... what will you do then?]

"To prevent it from happening"

The monster was startled by the hunter's answer.

The monster finds it funny from the person that his achievable goal will not happen from the most terrifying war he could ever experience, the humans can't withstand their war. He laughed.

[HAHAHAHAHAHAHA HOW AMUSING!!]

"what's so funny?"

The monster slowly stop laughing and begun to rage in red to his helmet like it was ready to erupt to his forehead. He shouting in midair on the empty hall followed by an echo.

[BECAUSE... IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!]

The monster's aura released into a powerful wave causing them to kneel, unable to move through his raging aura standing. The monster continued to shout at them.

[YOU CAN'T STOP THE WAR BECAUSE YOUR HUMAN AND HUMANS CAN'T STOP OUR BLOODY WAR!!]

The ultimate soldier was trying to resolve the situation to calm the mad monster down to escape but it would be more problematic if the monster came out from the Dungeon to harm the civilians so he decided to negotiate with him until then.

"We also have wars in our society and yet we have accomplished our peace.."

[DON'T YOU DARE SAY ANOTHER WORD HUMAN... YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT KIND OF WAR WE'VE BEEN THROUGH... YOUR HUMAN WARS ARE POINTLESS IN OUR EYES... THE ONLY WHY YOUR WAR EXISTS IS BECAUSE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO SEEK FOR POWER AND WEALTH... THIS IS WHY THE HUMANS ARE LIKE THIS BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL GREEDY BUT OURS ARE FAR MORE DIFFERENT THAN YOUR SELFISH REASONS!!]

He began sweating to his forehead for he was unable to negotiate with the monster and made the situation worst.

He can't find a way to resolve the situation while feeling afraid to his knees, then the blond woman speaks up while trying to stand to her knees, facing him head-on.

"then let me tell you something"

The monster looks at the blonde woman while widening his eyes. He finds it intimidating the woman, who was facing him without fear of death. He listened to her.

"Our wars are indeed far different than yours, but we've experienced the same hell as you do"

The monster was interested in the woman's courage even though he released a very large amount of aura flowing inside the empty hall, she still faced head-on.

[Hmmm...you're quite understandable for a mere human, what's your name?]

"Hunter Cha hae-in, I'm an S rank hunter"
