Chapter Title

I made Jin-woo stronger than what he was at that time, because I'm adding a few people, things, and events.

Jumping from the tree to the ground I watched as the S rank elf got off of his horse. With a wave of his hand everyone else took off in the same direction. It must have been their original destination they were going to.

'Over that way must be the other adventurers. Why would Jin-woo go with these people though? Wouldn't he be loosing exp if other people help to kill the monsters?' I shook my head as I looked at the elf that was standing across from me.

"Hmm, another monster in human clothes." The elf said.

"Huh?" I asked. Since when could I talk to monsters? Or is this just their own elven language? Even then I never learned or heard of it, so how can I understand it?

'The system. It's my only answer.' I thought.

"How about we-"

"No. Let's skip all that and get right into it." I said cutting him off. I ran forward with my dagger out and slashed at him with a horizontal cut. He ducked under it and punched me in the in the stomach.

I slid back a but as I saw that my shirt had a hole where he punched.

'I was too stupid basing his strength off of his energy while excluding his fighting capabilities.' I thought as my eyes glowed red. This time he ran at me with a crazed smile as he slashed at me vertically with his dagger. I leaned to the right and trued to cut at his neck, but he leaned his head back.

I then swept his legs, but he did a handstand and pushed himself back. Once he landed on the ground I used [Empower] and appeared in front if him. His eyes widened as started slashing at him with my dagger.

I spun around and replaced my dagger with my B-rank sword and swung at his head, trying to cut it in half. He was surprised, but blocked it with as his dagger was about to cut my blade in half.

I let the sword go as it flew away from my hand.

"You're pretty good. Why don't we call a truce?" He offered as we continued to fight.

"How about no." I said and punched the elf in the chest. His body was flung away as he smashed into some trees. He continued to fly through the forest and I followed him till we came across an opening that was filled with the bodies of the dead elves.

"Eh." I stopped in my tracks as I saw Jin-woo cut the head off of the last elf and toss his body to the side. Once he was done he looked at me and the elf who was on the ground with a plain expression.

"Nice day today isn't it?" I asked to break the awkward silence.

"How'd you get in here?" He asked with a confused expression.

"I pushed my way in. It looks like you got your own raid team." I said as I looked at the people that were further back all huddled together.

"It's a temporary thing. I assume that guy's the leader right?" He said as he looked at the elf that was getting up to its feet. It's shirt was blasted off when I punched it and there's blood coming from the mouth.

"Yup. I put him at about A+ to S- if you consider his combat capabilities." I said with a sigh.

'He wouldn't even level me up though. The daggers good and all, but I can find a good one in the shop.'

"YOU BASTARD!!" It yelled as it ran towards me. I used [Empower] and raised my legs as my foot smashed into his face. I then stomped it into the ground causing it to cave in on itself.

'At the moment Jin-woo is about S- in power rank, but I don't know about his skill. So I'll give it S+ rank. So somewhere on par with me.' I thought as I walked out of the crater I made.

Suddenly a swirl of blue energy was forming.

"We're free."

"The dungeons cleared!!"

Everyone cheered as they ran towards the gate and left through it. Me, Jin-woo and some little girl came out last. The gate closed and everyone was asking about some guy named Kim something. I couldn't care to remember.

"We should have that talk some time tomorrow. Maybe around 8. I should be free by then. Actually, I'll be out of contact for a week at most." Jin-woo said as he looked over his should. He and the other girl got in his car and drove off. I then used [Cloud Movement] to go in through my bedroom window.

My body materialized again and I closed the window and changed my clothes. I then went to sit on my bed.

'A week huh? I guess I'll be in the dungeons for that time.' I thought as I got my phone. I saw that I had a text from Jin-ah asking if I was able to contact him.

<Yeah, we were just in a dungeon, so I missed your text.>

After a minute of waiting there was a reply.

<Oh, did you guys just get out?>

<Yeah, it was a red gate so he and some other people got stuck inside. I happened to be around, so I went in to help.>

<You mean the dungeon that was on the news?>

<Are you with the White Tiger guild?>

<Nah, I was just helping out. Jin-woo actually had almost everything under control, but some people did die.>

<I don't get it though. How did my brother who's E-rank take care of a whole dungeon? I've noticed that he's changing a lot recently.>

<Do you know if he has a girlfriend or something?>

<I don't really know, but he did drive some girl home a few moments ago.>

<Really!?>

<Yeah. The girl seemed to like him, but I don't think he likes her like that. She looks like a highschooler like you.>

<He's playing really risky right now. How about you, do you have a girlfriend?>

<Nah, my current situation and goals don't allow for that right now. I look for one in the future tho.>

<Can I ask you something?>

<Yeah.>

<Why are you a hunter?>

<Well it's mainly for the money and items, but it's also fun if you're strong enough.>

<You must be a high rank hunter?>

<Maybe. Maybe I should take the test again.>

<Mysterious people😒>

<I'll call you tomorrow, but I'm tired. It's like 3 something in the morning.>

<Alright. I'll talk to you later>

<Alright.>

Afterwards I put my phone on the charger and went to sleep.

—Next Day—

I was already up and had text Jin-ah that I would be out of contact for about awhile. She asked if I was going on a trip with her brother and I told her I would be going somewhere out of state.

Afterwards I got changed into some blue jeans and a black shirt along with a jean jacket. I wore some white shied that resembled white hightop AF1's. Opening the system I looked at my starus.

"Looking at this and remembering how weak I was at the beginning is so satisfying." I said as I went to the ID section. I saw that there were more dungeons unlocked and to be honest, although going in order would be better. I want something to challenge me or push me to my limits.

Scrolling up I stopped when I saw a Dungeon that had an unknown rank, but had a difficulty adjustment option. I looked at this and tapped the easy option. Obviously I wanted a challenge, but I'm not dumb.

What if I jump in and get one tapped again?

(Third POV)

As soon as Ming-yoo opened his eyes he saw a quest appear.

[Objective: Clear this dungeon within the required time while following the rules.

Rules: Inventory restricted, Must have over 20% percent if health left.

Rewards:

One Spirit summon]

The rewards seemed good to him as he accepted the quest. Looking around, he was finally able to take in the scenery. He saw that he was at the coast of an island or something.

The weather was nice, there was a lot of wildlife, and the water was so so clean you could see through it. All of that would have been nice if it wasn't for the huge mountain that pierced the clouds or the huge tornado of lightning and wind spinning around it.

He also felt the presence of beasts over the island. Some were weaker than him and some were stronger. Like a lot stronger.

"No point in sitting around and waiting." He said and dashed off into the forest.
