Chapter 90: Alaris Wrath

In a blinding flash of light, a massive serpentine dragon of violet flame erupted from the circle, roaring with an unearthly might that shook the chamber. The dragon's scales were black as night, reflecting the flames that flickered across its body like a living cloak of embers.

"The Apocalypse Dragon," Cheol Su murmured, awestruck at the power of Alari's summons.

Cerberus recoiled in terror, his three heads cowering before the draconic might of the beast. The Apocalypse Dragon reared back, its jaws opening to reveal a maw of blazing fire.

Alari's voice cut through the din of battle, her command ringing out clear and strong: "Consume."

With a deafening roar, the dragon swooped down upon Cerberus, its massive wings churning the air around them. The hound's three heads wailed, their cries of fear and pain mingling with the dragon's primal fury.

And then, silence. The Apocalypse Dragon's flames subsided, leaving only ash and scorched earth in their wake. Cheol Su stared at the smoldering remains of Cerberus, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "Alari..." he murmured, unable to tear his gaze from the destruction before them. "What manner of power..."

Alari, still standing amidst the scorched earth, returned the scythe to him with a wan smile. "Just a little trick I picked up," she said, her voice eerily calm. "You'll have to forgive me for not using it earlier. I was saving it for a special occasion." As the haze of battle faded, Cheol Su turned his attention back to the Tower's interface, watching as the experience points from their victory flowed into his total.

**Experience Points: 4,000**

And then, another notification appeared before them:

**Demonic Blood Fruit: Collected**

Cheol Su let out a sigh of relief. "Well done, Alari," he said, sheathing his scythe. "We had fulfilled two requirements for clearing this floor, with two down it one more to go ." And now, as the dust settled around them, the sound of skittering claws filled the air, signaling the emergence of demons from the darkest corners of the Gate of Hell.

Cheol Su narrowed his eyes, his grip tightening on the scythe once more. "We'll have to be quick," he said, glancing up at the interface. "We don't have much time before the demons become too numerous to handle."

Alari nodded, her eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of movement. Cheol Su, recaps his gaze now filled with a cold, almost feral, determination. "The Final condition we need to meet is Slaying a thousand demons and we will do just that."

With a whispered command, he activated his Rampage skill, feeling a rush of adrenaline and power course through his veins.

"We'll cut a path through these creatures until there's nothing left but their ashes," he growled, his voice a low rumble of warning to any demon foolish enough to stand in his way.

Alari nodded, falling into step beside him, her own dagger gleaming with a menacing light.

Cheol Su's blade flashed through the darkness, a black scythe of death that harvested the lives of the creatures that dared to challenge him. His Rampage skill gave him an almost supernatural awareness of his surroundings, allowing him to anticipate his enemies' movements and strike them down with cold efficiency.

Alari was no less fearsome, her dagger flitting between the shadows, leaving a trail of blood and gore in her wake.
