Chapter 39: Challenge at the Arena

As Master Yun continued to speak, Tae Won's mind was already racing. He knew that students in the advanced class had access to opportunities beyond the academy, opportunities that could lead to wealth and power.

And with Cheol Su's newfound strength, he could be a valuable ally - or a dangerous enemy.

He had to act fast.

"Master Yun," he interjected, his voice trembling with feigned concern. "How can we be sure that Cheol Su deserves this promotion? "power speaks for itself," Master Yun replied, his tone firm. "He has proven his worth in the test."

But Tae Won was not convinced. "The display showed a question mark," he pressed, his eyes narrowing. "How can we be sure he even has a class?"

Master Yun furrowed his brow, considering the question. "It is possible that Cheol Su's power defies categorization," he said, his voice thoughtful. "This is not unheard of among the most powerful evolvers."The Crowd starts murmuring their voice below a whisper, This is favoritism a bald one said.

Cyprus pops up floating in the air in front of Cheol Su, "Side Mission activated; A foe is doubting the might of your power, and is winning public opinion, turn the tables and prove them wrong".

Cheol Su's voice cut through the murmurings of the crowd, his words clear and unwavering.

"What if I prove it, right here and now? Me and you, Tae Won, at the school arena. We'll settle this once and for all."

Tae Won snorted, his expression contorted with fear and anger. "Oh, I don't think so. You're a level 6 advanced evolver, and I'm only a level 3 intermediate. That wouldn't be a fair fight."

Cheol Su's smirk widened. "Then why don't you bring your friends?" Cheol Su challenged, his eyes flashing with excitement. "Let's make it a real party."

Tae Won's friends shrank back, their faces pale with fear. "He's mad," one of them whispered, his voice trembling.

But Tae Won, his pride wounded and his anger mounting, stood his ground.

"Fine," he snapped, his eyes blazing with fury. "Bring it on, Cheol Su."The crowd buzzed with excitement, their eyes fixed on the unfolding drama with rapt fascination.

"Is he crazy?" one of them whispered, their voices hushed but their expressions alight with disbelief.

"He's going to get himself killed," another added, their eyes wide with apprehension.

And yet, through it all, Master Yun stood apart from the crowd, a proud smile upon his face.

"My student is a force to be reckoned with," he murmured, his voice filled with pride and admiration. "He will show them all." As news of the impending battle spread through the academy, the air buzzed with anticipation. Students raced through the halls, their voices echoing with excitement as they clamored for the best seats in the arena.

One by one, the teachers and instructors took their places, their faces revealing little of their thoughts as they watched the unfolding drama with quiet interest.

The sky above the arena darkened, the sun's last rays disappearing behind the jagged horizon, casting the stage in a deep, foreboding shadow.In the stillness of the arena, the four combatants took their positions, the only sounds the creak of leather and the swish of robes.

Tae Won stood tall, his eyes fixed on Cheol Su with a mix of hatred and fear.

Lee Min was a coiled spring, his sword drawn and ready to strike at the first sign of weakness.

And as the crowd watched with bated breath, a referee emerged from the shadows, her presence commanding the attention of the combatants.

"The rules are simple," she announced, her voice loud and clear. "No holds barred. Fight to the finish."

With those words, she stepped back, her presence fading into the shadows as the combatants tensed, ready to unleash their powers.

And as the murmurs of the crowd reached a fever pitch, Cheol Su's voice cut through the din, his words ringing out clear and strong.
