A group of Spec Ops operators are saved from the jaws of death by the intervention of the Supreme Law of Time. After waking from a coma, the team's leader finds himself bound to an alien symbiote. Omar Azan approached Terek Abu Zayd and his entourage.
"The dead man in the flesh." Abu Zayd said as he saw him approach.
Anwar and the other agents with him slowly reached for their guns, but Abu Zayd shook his head at them.
"Did you bring it?" He asked Omar.
"I did." Omar showed him the hard drive. "You and I both know this thing is too dangerous."
"Yet you didn't destroy it."
"Well, it was the best safety net."
"Now, it will be returned where it should be."
"And where is that? In your hands where you can use it to blackmail those who oppose the government." Omar gave Terek a stare. "So much for a 'true' democracy. How's that different from the old regime we served."
Abu Zayd looked at Omar nonchalantly.
