So let´s start with the character screen, it has all your information, you'll notice that the skill section is empty, well that's because first you already have Soldier Boy power so it's not new, second all Soldier Boy skills are going to be fully mature wen your 17 and you will stop aging at 25, you are welcome.

Now when you roll a character you'll have 2 options summoning or synchronization, you can summon him/her and the character will have a loyalty and romance/friendship status in relation to you, remember they are independent people so treat then as such.

If you chose to synchronize with the charter don't worry about it too much, you'll gain their power as the percentage goes up, you can make it go up by training their abilities or doing things the used to do.

Now about the gacha it's pretty simple every day you get 1 gold coin, every month you can buy 100 gold with money with a 1-10 rate (100 G = 1.000 $) or you can do missions for rewards, pretty cool right? For better rewards, I will recommend you chose the option to buy 10x the price like that you can chose 10 rolls with good percentages or 1 roll with a granted rare.
