Chapter Thirty — Letting it Out

I still couldn't believe that I had agreed to Brian's sudden request, but, here I was in his car, supposedly heading down to his workplace.

It was somewhat surprising when he suddenly showed up at my bedroom door earlier this morning and asked if I wanted to follow him to work. I had at first thought that he was still hungover since I saw him come back home drunk last night but seeing how I'm here right now, I'm guessing he wasn't hungover which means that I'm really going to where Brian works.

"You're still surprised that I suddenly asked you to come with me to work, right?" he asked, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes internally at how obvious his question was.
