Sold To An Alpha

[8th place in Werewolf Competition, 2022] [CAUTION: RATED 18: NO RAPE] Is it believably possible to love a man who's been rejected by all women? Leia is sold in the name of marriage to the most controversial man in the nation in exchange for monetary favors; Mr. Adrik Avalanzo, the scarred one.  He is rumored to be a hideous and fearless beast covered in scars, both physically and emotionally. His appearance is enough to chase off women. Even though he is the wealthiest, whom many envy, they consider him a plague. Thrust into a loveless marriage, how would a pridefully stubborn, hot-headed girl like Leia deal with him? And how would he deal with her? Will he try to dominate her? Or woo her passionately?  Will Leia accept him despite his physical deformity? Will she get past her pride? Her short temper? Or even untie the knot she'd tied over her heart to accept him? Will their marriage turn out to be one that all the people of high society envy? Or could this marriage be the subsequent tragedy of the century? ______________ The cover is not mine and belongs to its rightful owner. the owner's credit Follow me on Instagram @angellily_draws i

Who's There?

He scrutinized her and halted at her face.

He slowly reached out his slender finger and touched her cheek, then gently tucked the strands of her hair that fell over her face behind her ear.

"Hmmm... a part wolf." His brows creased a bit in thought, and he moved closer to the bed.

He squatted down to her level and, with the use of his finger, he opened her eyes and instantly stilled the moment he saw the colour of her eyes. "Nephalim!" The word escaped his mouth, and he quickly proceeded to raise her hair and look at the back of her neck.

"She doesn't have the mark..." His eyes fluttered rapidly, and he slightly shook his head in disbelief.

It was impossible that she didn't possess the mark. Because, from what he knows and has witnessed, all Nephalim always have a mark at the back of their necks.
