Chapter 2.

Sentry carried Lauin in his hands and tried healing him with his power but he was shocked to find that his power was being absorbed by Lauin's body but it had no other purpose other than being a fuel source to cover his drained energy. he couldn't heal Lauin at all, infact he couldn't even get passed the divine sigil on his chest, 

Seeing that Lauin wasn't the only injured one he asked that they return to the tower and with his statement light flashed as he teleported everyone back to Avengers tower, upon his arrival alarms blared but Thor soon disabled the alarms with his command, Lauin was hooked to a medical bed and so was Mary Watson as well as Harry, the four spider-themed heroes had already been healed by Sentry.

This was because their bodies had pushed the power out of their bodies and all that was left was simple flesh would without divine aura which the sentry could heal easily, as for Harry they should sense his parasite and wanted to study and identify it, As for Watson her body had been infused with the dark radiation from the advanced rifle

Anyone who tried healing her would have the darkness attack them, and even Sentry's power would get corrupted by this darkness, the only thing that seemed to restrain this power was Thor's lightning however since his power was extremely dangerous he couldn't remove the darkness from her body using thunder otherwise the power of divine thunder would vaporize a mortal even extinguishing their souls.

However, the continued existence of this darkness would also affect her as the darkness itself would continue corrupting her soul and possibly lead to her very death. just then a magic portal opens in the infirmary and from it arrives Doctor Stephen Strange the sorcerer supreme of earth, the two men stare at him as he enters and they ask him what is going on.

Dr Strange says that gods are primal forces of Nature and each time a god arrives on earth their actions affect the fate of the mortal realm, the only reason Thor can safely remain on earth for so long even after people know he is a god is mainly because he gives up a vast majority of his power whenever adventuring on earth and regains it upon his departure.

He then says that a short while ago a malevolent entity infiltrated the shields erected by the Sanctums over the Earth, this being whatever it isn't natural, its very existence defies natural law and as such it couldn't be countered by regular magic, this entity is based in divine magics and only divine power can hold it at bay,

From what they have seen it spreads through corruption, it possesses a body and slowly corrodes the soul of the host, once the corruption is complete the soul turns dark changing from a source of life to the void of death, once a soul is being corrupted a powerful divine light can wash away the corruption however after the corruption has taken root the only solution is to vanquish the corrupted soul otherwise the more souls exist the stronger the dark entity becomes.

he says that he has been traversing divine realms looking for gods of light capable of fighting against this creature but none have come, In Asgard the light and sun gods have all fallen to Valhalla awaiting their next rebirth, In Olympus Apollo and Pandeia have mysteriously gone missing and the other gods of light aren't strong enough to handle corruption of this level.

In Heliopolis Ra and Horus have also mysteriously gone missing and in Ama, Amaterasu had mysteriously vanished as well, In Nirvana Surya is gone and in Elysium Mithra is gone as well, it is the same story in each dimension he visited all solar gods are gone, only this young boy remains, he says that he cannot tell how or why but this child carries the breath of helios, an ancient and powerful Sun god said to rival the likes of Zeus.

However the boy's body is still human, even if he holds a portion of Sol's power he cannot utilize it in full or else his soul will be burnt to nothingness, he says that he can tell Helios's power is fully compatible with the child meaning he had lived within the child since his birth, but he didn't show himself till now probably because he was waiting for the child to grow up.

Sentry then asks why Helios would awaken now, Dr strange tells them that Helios possibly awakened because he was attacked by the dark force entity as a sun god he is extremely sensitive to darkness, thankfully his sunfire can extinguish the dark force otherwise they wouldn't have been able to save him.

Thor asks what he means and Dr Strange says that Thor must have sensed the arrival of the darkness over the earth, however since he is a storm god he isn't as sensitive to darkness as light gods are, this entity seeks positions of control, it knew that once it took Lauin it would have Clock technologies, once it took Harry and his new parasite it would have Oscorp and once it had the two sons of the president it would have the white house.

it wasn't an accident that Hydra attacked them, rather Hydra had been taken over by this dark entity, He adds that Lauin's light show not only defeated the dark acolytes but also purged the entity from a great portion of New York, which means this entity will be returning, from the people it had possessed they were able to figure out its plan and if they are to have any hopes of defeating it, they need Lauin.

Sentry then says that Lauin seems to have fallen into a comma and nothing he does can wake him up, Thor interrupts by saying that sentry isn't a god, despite how much power he has, his power still cannot revive a god, this kind of power needs a god, more importantly, a god that has a trace of Helios' power flowing in them, 

As he finishes the statement he turns to Dr. Strange and it seems like the two of them have the same idea, Dr Strange says they need to summon his sister, Only the Monn goddess Selene has enough of Helios' power to help restore his divine form.

Thor then adds that Selene gave up the mortal world ages ago and from what he hears within Olympus very few even know of her whereabouts, if she was a minor goddess summoning her would have been easy but Selene is one of the most powerful gods in Olympus, She happens to be one of the triple moon goddess, so summoning her will require powerful magic.

Dr Strange then says that he knows about that which is why he came prepared, he states that locked within the deepest vaults of the Sanctum Sanctorum is a pendant, as he says that the light above his hand flares and as it does an object appears above his hand, it was silver-grey with a full moon in the centre, a crescent to its left and another crescent to its right.

However as it appeared the infirmary turned slightly dark, and then silver light radiated from the pendant and covered the whole room, the light radiating on Sentry was nerfed, however, on the contrary, the golden suit covering Lauin whose golden glow had long turned dim suddenly radiated light once more, the symbol on his chest lit up and his hair in turn glowed with golden light, 

Similarly, an electric aura suddenly illuminated Thor as the rune on his costume similarly lit up, Seeing this, Doctor Strange says that the two were divine symbols representing a god's power and for them to light up can only mean one thing, before he could finish his statement the pendant in his hand started vibrating.

Previously the pendant had been sealed with magic runes and at the moment the runes were glowing with too much power, and as they watched, the trembling pendant radiated with even more silver light. Suddenly the glowing runes started melting one after the other. when all of them had melted the pendant surged with power turning into a silver-grey portal and a slender hand suddenly stretched out of the portal,

following this a beautiful woman walked out of the portal, she was dressed in silver and white ancient Greek robes and in her hand was a silver staff and the previous pendant was the head of the staff except its size had expanded several times. The woman's face was expressionless however since she appeared in the room her face was locked on one figure, 

She didn't seem to care about who else was in the room, her gaze only focused on the young boy in a golden costume as she approached him a divine sigil also formed behind her back, it mirrored the sigil on Lauin's costume except her sigil was silver and the rune at the centre looked the opposite direction.

this sigil seemed to have been drawn out by the golden sigil and they started rotating synchronously except they moved in opposite directions from each other, following this traction Lauin's eyes finally opened however they were filled with golden light that leaked at the ends in the form of a flame, he stood up himself as his costume turned into ancient greek robes just like the lady was wearing except his were gold and white.

the golden sigil on his chest detached and floated behind his back as well, a smile appeared on his face as he said 'Hello Sister' however his voice wasn't purely Lauin's voice, it resonated with his voice except this voice sounded ancient and powerful also it seemed to echo from far away like it was being projected into this body but didn't originate from it.

after this voice was heard the pale white face of the lady finally showed some emotion as it turned into a smile, the tension previously held within her body seemed to have been washed away by these words completely. the staff in her hand vanished instantly and she stepped forward giving Lauin a massive hug, the golden and silver rays radiated throughout the whole room leading Doctor Strange to erect the Shields of the Seraphim to protect the four spider heroes and the two mortals in the room.

the resplendent silver and golden rays had no effect on Sentry and Thor but even Doctor Strange had to shield himself, this was pure divine light and it was dangerous to mortals, a few minutes later there was a sound in the room as Thor used a face cough to remind the two where they were, 

the hug was ended and the lady then turned her gaze to the rest of the people in the room, her eyes rested on Thor with a nod which Thor returned, clearly the two knew each other, her gaze then landed on Sentry with anxiousness, then it drifted to Dr Strange and the people he was shielding behind him, she then spoke saying that she apologizes for her previous actions,

She reveals that she hasn't seen her brother in the last 3 millennia so she was distracted, she introduces herself as Selene, lady of the moon. With this, she waves her hand and the silver-white robes transform into a silver-grey costume with a silver cape mirroring Lauin's golden costume with the sigil appearing on her chest, Lauin naturally returns to his costume as well.

Shen then thanks Sentry for raising her brother, Sentry says that he didn't know Who Lauin was when he saved the child, he was simply fulfilling a promise he made. On the contrary, it was Lauin that saved his family when he joined their family as their son, he brought him and his wife together and returned life to a dying marriage.

It wouldn't be wrong to refer to him as the bright ray of light holding their family together, Selene smiles at this description, she then says that int he ancient times her family lived in the Castle of Light, back then their whole family had a connection to light but even then No one could outshine Helios, not even their father.

She then turns to Lauin and asks where he is, This question stuns everyone else in the room with the electric Spiderman asking whether Lauin wasn't with them in the room, Thor reveals that his body is right here with them however his mind is elsewhere. Sentry adds stating that he isn't in any danger which is why they didn't worry about it before.

Lauin reveals that his reincarnation took the form of a Nexus being that exists as a core pillar of most realities including this one, right now the mind is at the mind palace beyond space and time this is where the various incarnations of Lauin within the multiverse meet.

he then reveals that although he has awoken he isn't fully back, a trace of his power is in Lauin's soul however his main power is still undergoing reincarnation, he reveals that as Lauin goes Stronger e will possess more and more of his power until he finally possesses all of Helios' power becoming Helios the new sun god.

Selene says that the Fates have delivered to him a quest to enable him to complete his reincarnation and the target is a dangerous being, she says that she has been keeping a watch on its actions for the past few years however he still cannot discover its true identity, it's true form has been shrouded from her gaze by an unnatural power stronger than her which means she cannot help him even if she wanted to.

Lauin says that he already knows this, he reveals that he took a deeper look at some of its acolytes and they have no mortal souls, the centre of their being is a void meaning they draw their power from the void beyond this universe, hearing this Selene shows fear while asking whether its Chaos, 

Lauin simply smiles stating that it cannot be him, he adds that if it was him then he wouldn't need mortal puppets as none of them could contain his power, this power seems to stem from entropy, he says that in the old days there was a legend about the gods from the stars, the most popular one was the goddess of light and the god of darkness.

he says that from what he has learnt as of now, the goddess of light seems to have entered exile creating a powerful force mortals cannot understand as of yet, they all call it the Enigma force, she spread this power through eternity just a layer below the mortal surface, with this she seemed to ban her nemesis the god of darkness from this universe.

However darkness has been planning his return for a while, he left remnants of his power in this universe with many of them taking the form of massive devouring phenomena that humans call blackholes, when the suns which are symbols of creation die, they turn into symbols of destruction and this brings the power of darkness.

He says that the power of these acolytes he vanquished seem to remind him of this Legend the human soul was corrupted and then shattered turning into an endless void sucking light and in essence, life from all around them. each transformed vessel becomes an anchor and they seem to be pulling something from the void, whatever they are bringing into this world should be the true mastermind behind this invasion.

he then adds that if it's not stopped the darkness will spread all over the earth infecting all signs of life and once they have all been turned it will come for Earth's star, once eaten the entire solar system will become another Anchor to the void beyond creation creating another gap for the darkness to seep into this world.

he then adds that it has always been the duty of Sun gods to fight against this endless darkness, he then says that the suns are anchored to the ancient light god and as such all sun gods are children of the ancient sun god, He then adds that if this darkness seeks to eat earth's sun the first task it needs to do is eliminate all the sun gods of Earth, the only reason why they couldn't is because Helios was residing within the sun, 

However after his reincarnation, the sun has been left vacant, he says that it has been the duty of the other sun gods to protect Earth's sun until he is fully reincarnated, his absence means there is a gap in the formation protecting Earth's sun. He then says that when he sensed this darkness he sent a signal to the rest of the sun gods in all the divine realms anchored on Earth.

He says that he would have thought they all would have arrived already but till now none of the sun gods have responded to his summons, he adds that the sun gods are some of the most powerful but also the most dedicated gods in creation, this is because they stand as anchors of life in the universe, should they slack off or even abandon their responsibility, life on their native planes would cease to exist.

Similarly, if something were to happen to the sun gods of Earth, the sun would burn out, and with the death of the sun all life on Earth would come to an end, this is because Earth's sun is held together by the life forces of its sun gods. the fact that none of them has appeared yet can only mean that they cannot show up.

he states that if this ancient evil intended to devour the Earth, the first task would be to get rid of all the sun gods first. his gaze then turns to Doctor Strange and he says that he was listening when Doctor Strange described the state he found when he went searching for the other sun gods. he adds that the sorcerer supreme is right without the sun gods this disaster cannot be prevented regardless of who they bring into the fold.

he then adds that as a reference his father Sentry contains the brightest light in the universe however even he cannot detect this oncoming evil, this is because although he contains the power of over a million suns he still isn't a sun god, he can command the power of the sun he is not the power of the sun.

Selene asks him what can be done and he reveals that the first step is to find and rescue the sun gods however he cannot do so in his current form, he says that this body can only hold his power for a limited time which isn't enough time to find and rescue even one of the sun gods.

He then says that the only way to save him now is to turn this mortal vessel divine, only divine flames can ascend a mortal form into a divine form and since he is a sun god, he needs sun fire, this is a power wielded only by the sun gods and it lies at the very base of their power, anything that contains a trace of the sun god contains a trace of true sun fire.
