Why you little...yelled my stepdad. By this time I was already used to this kind of treatment. With tears in my eyes I bent over to pick up the pieces of broken glass.

My name is Honey and this is my story. When I was five my dad left . My mom married Kevin , my crazy stepdad . He's been torturing me from day one . When ever I made a mistake no matter how small , he'd take off his long black belt and hit me. Once he hit so hard so hard I started to bleed. You would think my mom would care and stop him but she'd rather join him.

My mom thinks it my fault dad left. That he didn't want a child as ugly as me and that i was a mistake that she should've aborted me when she had the chance. I didn't have it easy growing up. I wish dad took me when he left.

Now I'm 16 and I have been counting the days till I'm 18 and finally leave home . I worked hard to make this far and I'm so proud of myself I thought as a i put on my apron and started my shift at work . Time passed so fast and before I knew it was 3 o clock . I stared at the cafè door and there he was .

He entered, sat down at usual place and pulled his laptop. I went over to take his order What will have today sir ? I asked

A latte with a whole wheat bagel we both said

As we laughed over what just happened I said : you always sit at the same table and order the same thing .

And you still ask me what I'd like to order he said with a grin.

I chuckled , I'll go get your order I said

After some time I came back with the order
