VROOOOOOOOOOM

A black blur flashed by two trainers as they walked alongside the edge of the smooth road. The wind caused by the blur smashed into the faces blowing their hair and clothes back. They turned around only to catch a glimpse of a person riding a motorcycle.

Rex had a wide smile on his face as he felt the wind. he was going at insane speed as he sped down the road. We he got far enough away from the city he pulled out a Pokeball and threw it out. Due to the speed he was going at, the Pokeball instantly disappeared behind him. But a sudden Loud roar could be heard before a blue and black Flash appeared next to Rex.

"Up for a run Arcanine?" he said with a smile before accelerating even further. Arcanine roared happily and easily kept up with the bike that was moving at over 200kmph.

It took less than an hour before the sun came down. He was reckless but he wasn't stupid. Driving a night at such speeds was already dangerous enough in his past life. Much less in this one where there could be wild Pokémon coming out of nowhere.

He decided to take a rest early and do some more aura training with Machoke. He fed all of his Pokémon and they did their training. After doing his training he continued to talk to the system about his little experiment. It would be ground-breaking if he managed to pull it off since it had never been done before. But there were a couple of things that needed to be worked out before he was confident enough to attempt it.

He texted Elesa who informed him that she was currently in the forest investigating a very loud roar that caused a small Pokémon tide which later assaulted the city. When Rex read that he began to sweat as he turned to Arcanine who was arguing with marshadow as they surrounded Machoke. When they got too loud Machoke blew up and smacked them both in the head before sitting down again to continue training. Arcanine looked aggrieved as did Marshadow but they soon started blaming each other.

Scyther was kicking the air which created small muffled *bangs* every time. Onix was calmly sitting there observing everyone as he created sandcastles and small sand figurines. Gyarados simply slept but found Arcanine and marshadow's bickering irritating and shot a hydro pump at them only to hit Machoke by accident. Rex saw Gyarados shiver intensely when that happened as did everyone. It was like the air froze. Machoke who got hit was surrounded by steam that covered everyone's views.

When his figure could finally be seen, he was still seated there with not a scratch on him, but his eyes were opened and glaring at Gyarados.

{Final warning, whoever makes a sound next, I will break your legs and make you run around this forest.} he said savagely. Rex tried his hardest not to laugh, even covering his mouth as he saw Machoke's irritated expression. But all of his other Pokemon didn't dare laugh, they were shivering intensely. As if a silent treaty had been formed, Arcanine and Marshadow shook hands/ paws, nodded and silently made their way to a tree 100 meters away. Just in case their breathing could be heard.

"PFFFT!" his hand slipped, and a small laugh echoed through the now silent forest after witnessing the duo's actions. Rex looked at Machoke who mechanically turned his head towards him.

They stared at each other for a moment before standing up at the same time. All of the other Pokémon perked up as they watched on nervously.

But what happened next shocked them. Machoke burst forward quickly as did Rex before they both clashed in the middle. A small shockwave was created as their forearms clashed. Machoke was holding his strength back since it wouldn't be fair otherwise. This was how they settled their disputes. Hand to hand combat.

Rex sent kicks at insane speeds, flashing here and there, even incorporating mid-air spins to create further momentum. Machoke punched back at incredible speed. The impacts created shockwaves that sent air bursting outwards.

All of Rex's pokemon had their mouths agape as they witnessed this. They had never seen this type of battle before. They had never witnessed their trainer and almost father figure battle their older brother/ leader.

But they were entranced by their almost dance-like routine. Punch after punch, kick after kick, they duked it out for 20 minutes before finally stopping. Both of them continued to stare at each other for a moment before smiling.

"Still want more?" he grinned.

{Always ready} Machoke grinned back.

BOOOOM

BOOOOM

Two explosions happened at the same time as a sort of aura exploded out of them and covered their bodies. They once again rushed at each other, but their attacks were much more destructive. The earth crumbled and cracked, and the air seemed to shatter at every punch. They were using aura to fight now. But soon, the other Pokémon realised something. There was something shocking going on before their eyes. The aura levels of both Rex and Machoke were rising without stopping. They continued to rise as they battled.

With every collision and separation, their aura levels increased. Arcanine who was originally seated realised something big was going to happen.

{everyone, get back, this is bigger than you think,} Said Arcanine. The other Pokémon nodded. Even though Arcanine was the youngest, they respected the strong and they knew what kind of god-like existence Arcanine had become. They all nodded and back away. Marshadow sank into Arcanine's shadow as he observed.

At some point after separating for the one-hundredth time, Rex and Machoke smiled brilliantly. Their hands began to glow before blue energy seeped out and moulded into certain shapes.

Rex had a massive two-handed Warhammer in each hand, one resting on his shoulders while the other resting on the ground. As soon as it touched the ground a massive crater was formed.

Machoke had formed small javelin like weapons in each hand that he then began to throw at Rex at immense speed. His throws broke the sound barrier as they travelled. Rex smiled and swatted them away as if hitting a baseball. But just when he was about to attack back, Machoke began to glow like the sun itself.

There was an eerie silence that spread to all corners of Kanto for a moment, people unconsciously stopped what they were doing as if someone had pressed pause on the entire region. The sound of glass shattering could be suddenly heard echoing all over, puzzling everyone. Far away, on a remote island, A 4 armed pokemon stood up in shock. this caught the mans attention.

{he has awoken,} said umbra with a smile.

"Is that so. it seems the battle will soon be upon us. we must prepare," said the mysterious man with a deep frown.

An: Yeah, I feel like it makes sense for Machoke to create such a phenomenon when you take into consideration what machamp is said to be able to do. Lift mountains and punch 500 times per second. Arcanine just pales in comparison. Tell me what you think :)
