Mark Renews His Engagement With Zina

Where are you going? Zina's brother asked her while blocking her way. He saw her running out of the mansion with a basket full of different medicines.

Uhh, I heard Mark was back from the demon realm and he was injured, she answered.

Why can't you learn from what has happened before? And you still want to bother him.

No, I am going to see how sad he looks after leaving me, I want to see how much suffering he is getting from his injuries.

You are leaving with all the medicine in the mansion, are you sure you want to make sure he is suffering?

She looked at her brother playfully and took his hand after she realized she had been caught.

Brother, remember the prophet said that Mark's feelings for the phoenix is an irresistible attachment of the devils and they are not true, I am his true love. I just want to see if I have been loving the wrong person all along these years. 

It's okay, you haven't been loving the wrong person. He just asked his majesty to renew the engagement between you two.

Zina was immediately delighted.

Without saying goodbye she immediately ran off to find Mark, giggling happily.

 In the heavenly realm, Stanley and Alfred with their father stood in front of the purple rose. It had been sealed by spiritual energy and looked like it was withering.

For tens of thousands of years, the heavenly realm besieged the phoenix stopping it from attaining nirvana. The purple rose had been in the demon realm and protected by the demons in secret so that the phoenix kept re awakening. Now the phoenix spirit is dead and the purple rose has now withered, father you don't have to worry about the phoenix awakening any longer, Stanley explained.

His father nodded in satisfaction but he wasn't entirely satisfied. 

 Zina ran to Mark's cave and saw him sitting on a swing under a tree. He didn't notice her coming as he was deep in thought. She tapped him back to reality.

It hurts! He lamented as she hit his injury.

Let me hit you well so you could get your senses back! She said and hit him again and he screamed.

You are back?

Yes.

They hugged each other for a while and then sat down and Zina began to dress his injuries.

Zina, I'm sorry, it's all my fault for letting you worry about me, Mark said.

It's all in the past, everything is fine now, she replied. Tell me how did you escape from that demon?

I told him Linda's whereabouts.

What? She asked and hit him on his injury so that he screamed. You told him? I was so wrong about you. I thought you were so smart and brave, I didn't expe....

Ah! Zina hear me out, he said and blew at his wound. Actually we were all wrong.

Mark shook his head sadly.

I know you must be very sad. If you want ever want to go to the heavenly realm to revenge, I will be with you. If you want to vent your anger or cry, I will still be with you, okay?

Zina, I don't want you to vent with me or cry or revenge with me. I just want us to be happy and together forever.

Zina nodded and Mark took her hand.

Zina will you marry me?

She smiled and said "yes".

They hugged each other for a while before letting go. 

 In the heavenly realm, Stanley was busy carving wooden statues when Alfred walked in.

I have killed the phoenix, you don't need to keep following me and monitoring me anymore right? Stanley asked.

Alfred shook his head in pity for Stanley.

Are you okay? He asked.

I'm fine.

Not knowing what to say any longer, Alfred took a deep breath, shook his head and turned to leave. He stumbled into Alice who ran into Stanley's chambers.

Why did you kill the phoenix? Alice asked angrily.

It is my duty to kill the phoenix, he answered. Besides killing the phoenix will solve the crisis of the three realms.

Stanley! I'm really disappointed. You clearly did this to solidify your position as red sun god. In the world, all beings are equal, God is benevolent. Being the phoenix wasn't Linda's choice yet you killed an innocent life. Am really disappointed in you!

Alfred pulled her back saying "it was the heavenly emperor's order, he had no choice.

I hate you, I hate this place! She screamed and ran off. 

 The heavenly emperor stood at a place, watching the spot where the remains of Stanley's mother was. Before she breathed her last, she used her body to repair the heaven demon barrier which the phoenix broke. She did it after making the blue flame sword. Her remains remained in the barrier like a beautiful flower hanging from the barrier.

 The heavenly empress came there, she saw the way he looked at it lovingly, the way he had never done with her and felt jealous. She frowned and immediately left angrily without saying a word and went back to her chambers.
