Chapter 7

Emily follows where I am looking and turns to me with concern. "Are you okay Nat?"

I pull my eyes away from Christopher and Chelsea to look at her. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just shocked at who he is meeting with."

"Do you know them?" Emily asks with curious eyes.

"Yes I do," I tell her as my voice turns hard. "That's my ex-husband and his mistress."

Emily steps back in shock that quickly turns to a hard look towards the table. "I didn't know. I can go stop the meeting if you want me to."

"No, Gianna doesn't need to suffer because of my personal issues. You can help me though," I tell her with a smirk. She looks at me with questioning eyes as I motion for her to follow me to the booth. The DJ looks at me and leans over to where he could hear what I was going to tell him.

"I am covering for Zara until she gets here. The first dance will be to 'Project' by Chase McDaniel," I tell him. He nods and I look at Emily who is smirking. I grab her hand and pull her to the dance floor as the DJ announces the start of a line dance.

The music starts to play as I turn to address the people who joined us on the floor. "If you know this dance, dance along and if you don't, just watch me and follow along. Let's go."

We start the dance and as we are nearing the part that is basically a country rap I look at Emily, who give me a nod. The guys already know what to do so they are waiting to help us up on the giant table we normally do this part on, which just so happens to be the table my uncle is sitting at. They were so engulfed in what they were talking about that they didn't see us approach until we were up on the table. I hear an intake of breath from my left. I glance down and see Christopher looking like he has seen a ghost but she-devil is not beside him anymore. When we do the turn that is in the dance, I see her in the back, flirting with a man in the corner.

I make eye contact with Megan who is over that way and slightly nod my head in that direction. She looks confused at first but understands when she sees what I wanted her to look at. Megan takes out her phone before I turn back around to finish the dance.

When the song ends, the crowd start to chant the song they want us to do next so I look over at the DJ who nods with a smirk and plays the song. As 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' by Charlie Daniels fills the room, the crowd cheers as they get in line.

The whole time we are dancing, Emily and I stay on the table. Uncle Frank keeps mouthing for us to get down but I just smirk as I shake my head at him. When the song ends, I see Zara coming our way with a smile and I jump down.

"It's been a while since I have seen you do that dance," she says as she reaches me.

"I know, but once you know it, you never forget it. You ready to take over?" I ask her. She gives me a nod in reply then takes off to go to the booth.

"Did you really have to choose my table to do that?" Uncle Frank asks as he comes to stand by Emily.

"Don't you have a Prostate Exam you should be getting to?" I ask him in return. I hear someone stand up behind me and footsteps approaching us.

"No, but you could have used another table," Uncle Frank says with a stern look.

"Did you not realize that you were seated at the biggest table in the room? Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot your eyesight is going as you get older. You were seated at the table that is used to those dances since it is in the center of the room and everyone can see the leader," I reply with sass. We have a mini stare off until it's interrupted by a voice that haunts my dreams.

"You need to realize who you are talking to. Apologize to Mr. Anderson right now," Christopher says from behind me.

I slowly turn around with a look that is borderline apocalyptic and face the man who used to be my everything.

"Excuse me?" I ask as I make eye contact with him. Those eyes that I see everyday in my son.

"Apologize. What you said was extremely rude and uncalled for," he repeats himself.

Emily goes to say something but I shake my head to stop her.

"First of all, this is how we are with each other. If you would have waited a few seconds longer, you would have witnessed us start to laugh and properly greet one another. Second, you don't get to tell me what to do. At least, not anymore," I state with a hard expression.

Uncle Frank looks between the two of us and stops on me. "Do you two know each other?"

I nod my head and turn to face him. "Yes. Let me formally introduce you to Christopher Lane, my ex-husband." Uncle Franks face goes to shocked and lastly to a hard look at Christopher.

"So you are the one who broke her heart?" Uncle Frank asks Christopher.

Before Christopher could answer, the DJ asks for everyone's attention. "Ladies and Gentleman, tonight is a special night. The owner of this fine establishment will be revealed. Are you all ready to meet them?" The crowd gets loud from cheers at the mystery owners reveal.

"Are you so desperate that you now work at a bar? Let alone dancing in a bar?" Christopher asks me. Uncle Frank goes to say something but one look from me has him keeping quiet.

"No, I don't work in a bar nor am I desperate," I reply to him. I look at where Chelsea was and she isn't there anymore but I see Megan staring at the men's bathroom like she is waiting.

"Everyone, help me in welcoming," the DJ says. I turn my body to where I am fully facing Christopher as the DJ continues. "Miss Natalia to the stage."

"I own the bar," I say as I turn to go to the stage. Christopher looks like he just ate his foot as Emily is smirking. Uncle Frank is looking at Christopher like he would disappear if he stares hard enough.

"Thank you everyone. I see some faces out there that look scared because everyone thought I was just an employee. I wanted to get to know my guests without the fear of making the boss mad," I say and the crowd laughs. "I won't take up to much more time. Just remember that I am still the same person you all have met and please don't be afraid to come to me with any complaints or anything. Y'all have a good time and rest of your night."

As I jump off the stage, Jaxon walks up to me with Megan in tow. He looks mad as he gets to me. "Do you realize who is here?"

I look at my brother and nod my head. "Yes. He is having a meeting with Frank. I have already seen him," I say with a hard expression.

"I can have him escorted out if you want me to," Jaxon says.

I look at Megan and we share a smirk. "No, we have evidence that he might want to know. Also, Gianna needs this deal."

Emily starts making her way to me and I see she has followers. When they get to us, Christopher keeps staring at me. I see Chelsea cutting through the crowd towards us as she fixes her skimpy cocktail dress. She gets to us and sees me standing in the mix.

"What are you doing here?" She snobs. Seeing Jaxon beside me, she gets a victorious smile. "Oh I forgot that your lover comes to this bar."

I see Jaxon go to say something but Megan stops him. Christopher is now glaring at Jaxon. "I could ask you the same thing but then I remembered that I don't care," I reply.

Chelsea looks at me like I have slapped her in the face again. "You bitch, who do you think you are talking to?"

"A desperate slut," I reply to her with a smirk.

Chelsea stomps her foot and puts her hands on her hips. "I am not the slut here. I am going to get security." She walks off before anyone could stop her. Well, before Christopher could stop her. A few minutes pass before she comes back with my head of security, Mike. "This is the person who is causing trouble. Please escort her out," she demands/

Mike looks at me in confusion. I was just revealed as the owner and now this bimbo is trying to get me kicked out. Of MY bar. Mike clears his throat and composes himself. "Well, unfortunately I can't do that."

Chelsea looks at him in anger. "What do you mean you can't do that? Does this place not care about good paying customers?"

Mike looks at her with a straight face but I can see laughter in his eyes. "If I throw her out then I will lose my job."

"Why would you lose your job? Is she sleeping with your boss or something?" Chelsea asks with a little more aggression. The crowd goes quiet as the music stops as everyone watches what is going on.

"No..." Mike goes to explain but is cut off after the one word.

"Then kick the bitch out," Chelsea demands again.

"Is this bimbo serious?" Megan asks in my ear. I cut my eyes at her to show my amusement as I try not to smile.

Mike looks at me then back at Chelsea. "I can't throw her out. She is the owner of this place."

Chelsea looks at all of us then the crowd who all nod their head at her as the women start to whisper about her. "How are you the owner when you don't have a penny to your name? Did your sugar daddy here buy this place for you?" She points at Jaxon when she says this which makes Megan mad.

"Woah, wait a minute. My husband isn't anyone's sugar daddy," Megan states as her fists ball up at her side.

"Oh, you didn't know. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you but he is cheating on you with this trash right here," she says as she points at me.

Megan steps forward as Jaxon holds her back. "He is faithful to me and I know this a hundred percent. You need to be careful who you accuse of things."

Emily steps forward as she turns towards Chelsea. "My cousin is faithful to his wife and I can back this up." She turns to Christopher. "I am certain that my father will agree with me when I say that if we continue with this deal, she," Emily says and points at Chelsea, "is not to be present. She has disrespected my family in one of the most horrible ways tonight. I trust you will make the right decision since this deal will help your company."

Christopher, who has been silent this whole time, glances at me before looking at Emily. "You have my word. She will no longer take part in any deals from here on out between our companies."

"WHAT? Christopher, you have to be joking," Chelsea says in anger as she looks at Christopher.

"You have embarrassed me tonight. From here on out, you are not allowed to come with me on meeting trips," Christopher grits back at her.

"Oh and you also called me a slut when in fact that is you," I say with blank face.

"I am not a slut. I am faithful in my relationship," Chelsea states with a smug look.

"Oh really, then why were you in the bathroom with a gentleman about twenty minutes ago?" I ask as the crowd looks on like a fight will break out.

"I was in there with my fiancé," Chelsea says triumphantly.

"But didn't you tell everyone that you were engaged to Christopher here?" I ask with faked curiosity. This makes Christopher look at her, expecting an answer.

"He was who I was with you ignorant woman," Chelsea replies.

"Well, Christopher, I guess you could be in two places at the same time since you were at the table talking to Frank here," I say as I look at Christopher who looks at me in shock that I am actually talking to him in a semi-nice way.

"And how do you know this?" Chelsea demands looking nervous.

"I lead the first two line dances tonight and the table we use to stand above the crowd was the one he was sitting at," I say with a smirk. "There is also the fact that Frank here can confirm this." Uncle Frank nods his head and Chelsea looks around nervous now.

"There is also proof in picture as well as video form," Megan states as she takes her phone out of her pocket. She opens up the gallery and shows Christopher and Chelsea the pictures as well as the video of her coming out of the bathroom with a unknown man.

"So as you can see, I am not the slut here. You claim to be engaged to Christopher but are hooking up with strangers in the bathroom of the bar," I say and look around. I stop my sight on Mike and decide it's time for her to go. "Mike, will you please escort this woman out and put her on the ban list?"

"Yes, boss," Mike says and escorts a screaming Chelsea out the bar as the customers clap.

"Everyone please go back to having a good time. I sincerely apologize for the interruption that happened. Thank you," I tell the room. The music resumes as the room fills with chatter.

"That's what I'm talking about," Megan says and holds her fist up.

I fist bump her and notice Christopher looking at the tattoo on my wrist. Pulling my hand down, I decide it's time for me to leave. "Well, this has been fun. I am going to head out."

Uncle Frank looks at me and asks a question that I did not expect to hear. "You missing Tucker already?"

Christopher looks on with an irritated face when he says this and I decide to keep it vague. "Yes. You know that my man takes up all of my free time." Christopher's jaw clenches at this and I keep my laughter in. He probably thinks that Tucker is a boyfriend or something.

"Well tell him that I said hello and that I will visit him soon," Uncle Frank says with a wink. He knows that I went through a divorce and the back story but I never told him who my ex-husband was until now.

"I will. Have a great rest of your meeting. Goodnight," I say as I walk away.

As soon as I get home, I quietly walk to Tuckers room. When I open the door, I see him fast asleep so I kiss his little head and go to my room. Today has been very interesting.
