Chapter 63

 I walk over to Christopher and my brothers standing by the tree line. When the cleaning crew jumped in to start the clean-up, they all moved to the side to ensure they were not in the way. Without saying a word, I walk straight to Christopher and wrap my arms around him. He instantly hugs me back and lays his chin on my head. We stand like that before more arms engulf us as the others create a group hug with us at the center. After a minute, a throat clearing makes us all let go of each other. 

 Vlad stands behind me with a look I can't decipher. He walks over and stands in front of Christopher. "I hate how this turned out but I am thankful it is over. There are some things that we need to discuss but this is not the time or place to do it. Your mother will be anxious to know that we are all okay," he says as he turns to check on the progress of the cleanup.
