Finally X Something X Interesting

Lia: "S-STAY B-BACK" she screams as the red-eyed devil creeps ever closer.

Lia had been running for a couple of hours now, despite the intense pain in her legs pleading her to stop, she never did. As if she slowed down for even a second she would be devoured.

The need for survival trumps all other negative feelings, her friends Leon, Jason, and Aria were all dead and she was the only one left, she had to live, so she could return and tell everyone. At least then they could avenge her fallen comrades, but only if she lived.

Her mind was erratic and cloudy, but her desire to live pushed her to break her physical limits and push on. Suddenly a rush of energy and power washed over her body, the aching in her leg disappeared, her exhausted state was reverted to the point where it's like she was never running, and her speed increased immensely.

Lia: 'A-a new skill?'

Normally skills can only be acquired via the use of skill points or intense repetition, however, there is another way.

Extreme emotions can temporarily cheat the already deteriorating system and the mind will subconsciously gain skills points and chose the skill that will let them adapt and survive their current situation.

And thus the skill「Revert Lv 1」Was acquired.

However even though in the short term this phenomenon is useful for the situation, the drawback is a very intense and visceral backlash from the system in the form of agonizing pain not long after the skill is chosen.

Slaughtering a group of humans right after coming out of the womb?

Wouldn't have been my first call

But they were trying to kill me, and there's no way I'm letting that happen,

I just got out of the darkness and I'm not going back, no way in hell

And now I have to chase this healer type

Speaking of which, somehow I have acquired Nen

You know the shit from HXH, I didn't finish the show but I did get part way through season 5, so for the most part I can recognize it when I see it, made things a little easier when taking them down, still that guy with the long sword was annoying so I might have gotten a little mad and spent more time on him than the others.

I don't know why or how I have it, but it helped me survive so I ain't gonna complain.

The healer suddenly gains a boost of speed and her aura increases in size and density

'Did she just heal herself?'

With this new boost of speed, she jets away from me

The only reason I managed to kill those other 3 was that I caught them off guard, but they are still stronger than me, and in a one-on-one fight where they were ready I would get decimated instantly.

"tch," I click my tongue in annoyance and just stop chasing her as it's fruitless at this point and I'm not going to chase her all the way to a city where I will be killed upon entering.

Instead, I return to the clearing

During the walk, though I came across lots of these weird plants and rocks that radiated such a pure and intense aura, I even ate some of the plants and my own aura increased temporarily for a bit.

'Kinda wish I could store these'

I should have known I was in one of those, I mean I woke up as a man-eating albino rabbit with Nen, If anything this system appearing is the only normal thing that has happened to me.

I hop over a couple feet at a time to one of the plants that just overflowing with aura 'Appraisal'

I put the plant in my subspace inventory and hop over to one of the rocks 'Appraisal'

I put the rock in my inventory and then try to use appraisal on myself

'Whatever' I continue on my way back to the clearing just using appraisal every chance I got and putting the herbs and rocks in my inventory, I did that for a while until I couldn't put things in anymore, seems like there is a limit, which sucks but I guess it makes sense.

Finally, back at the clearing, I head over to who I assumed the leader was and continued feasting on his corpse.

Now normally I wouldn't indulge in cannibalism

And I still won't so it's all good

And while I was chowing down something fell out of his picket. I stop eating and look over, it's a glowing blue gem with the light concentrated in the middle. I hop over to the stone 'Appraisal'

Hp, Mp, and Sp, are all easily Identifiable, M.O.P is my maximum aura output, and P.O.P is potential aura output, so then is M.A.P just my Maximum aura pool?

I just use Ren and my aura surrounds my body, I kept it up for 10 seconds which is my max, and when it deactivates I collapse to the ground panting heavily and exhausted. My aura flow was all over the place and not contained at all, like I know that I'm new at this but I think my talent is super generic.

Then again, I come from a place with none of this aura bullshit so I guess it makes sense that I'm bad at it.

'Guess I was right'

Now that I can barely move I take some plants from out of my inventory by imagining the item I want appearing in front of me, and it works, thank god.

I gobble down the plant and feel my exhaustion slowly going away and my energy returning to me.

I look over the rest of the stats and even try out some of the more interesting skills.

Laser horn, uses MP, and depending on how much MP I put into it I can increase its size and damage, the first shot just made an indent in the trunk of a tree, and the second where I put everything in completely drilled through it instead.

Next up was active camouflage, it doesn't make me invisible but just makes my skin, or hide rather blend in with the background of where ever I'm standing at the moment, it's a neat skill and should come in handy later.

Hemokinesis was next and it's just as the name implies, blood control, although it's really hard to use.

Then we got Minor Self-replication, which just makes a physical copy of myself, it's an exact copy on the surface, as it's not alive, posses no aura, and the inside is hollow. It's more of an art piece than a clone.

*Grumble*

'Damn, wabbits have huge appetites'

I open my mouth and try to chomp down, but

A low growl catches my attention and I look over and coming out in the open is a large, well at least compared to me, but yeah a large black wolf with white spots dotted all over its body and black eyes.

"Just perfect" I say sarcastically as I get ready to fight for my life once again.
