new life?

Hm ? what's happing? when I blink my eyes open a white light hit them I release a small groan as I see pillars? I'm currently sitting in a crouched position while being in a shallow pool? Wait where am I ? I look up quickly to see the inside of what looks like a cathedral tower with me in the middle of the room. To my left I see what looks like anthropomorphic characters . I acknowledge them with a small nod and look down to the pool again to only know notice that I am sitting in the middle of a rune filled ring that seemed to stretch all the way to the anthro people. two had instinctively caught my attention, as I looked at one of them he was a shaggy wolf from what I could tell his grey and white color scheme is not something a dog would normally have and a female she was panting heavily as her fur seemed wet, despite it being a off shade of white but the reason I could tell she was female is because of her outfit that she was wearing had a feminine appearance. Her outfit rattled I now realized that she had metal attachments hanging off her clothes. She almost nearly fell over as others caught her, I remained silent not to sure what to say or do. They all seemed baffled by my appearance, but I don't know why until I heard one of them speak which i could understand "your highness that's a human isn't it, what should I do? would you like me to have the chief prepare for a human meal for you tonight" I was confused by that, but after some thinking I realized that he was talking about eating me. I gasp quietly and start moving slowly deliberately inching away as the beings noticed my behavior. They had stopped talking and just watched me move "don't you dare" the female spoke I assume she might be royalty, I stop and listen to her more "we have called a spirit wielder here, and this child is who came. I will check are records if any spirit-" She paused erupted into a coughing fit. I don't know what came over me but I felt concerned about this anthro person. she had stopped the others instantly as it seemed like she was going to try and defend me I stand up despite trying to be slow they seemed cautious of me. Perhaps it was because I was cautious of them. I tried to think of what I was doing before appearing here. looking down I looked at my clothes, it appears that I am currently wearing pants and a lose t-shits I examine my tan-ish skin color and my plum hair color all in the reflection of the water within seconds. I looked young but mature funny I cant remember how old I am, my own name is fuzzy to me. I look up at the female still having the coughing fit, I grew concerned for her sighing I started to approach slowly, to be cautious I don't really know why but I feel as if I need to, as if there was something telling me that it wasn't completely safe. the beings saw me approach as one said "its fast what does it want?" he then proceeded to slowly pick up his spear and point it towards me. When I say slowly I mean almost at a slugs pace, I just blink and raze my eyebrow as I continue to approach. I stop at his weapon and look up at him not even smiling. I must seem tired because that is literally how I feel. I feel sleepy. I reached up and touch the blade, it shined when I touched it. as I saw the female cough more hoarsely now, I jog up to her dodging the weapon without thinking. I reached her and gently started to rub her throat she swallowed hard and sighed. as I take some steps back she straitens her self up, "as I was saying I will look in our records and see if any spirit walkers has ever taken on a human shape, I would like her to stay in the castle closest to my room until further notice. no harm shall befall her after what she just did I think we can learn from her. so no Jase do not tell the chief to prepare me a unique meal. in fact young one, would you like to see my castle?" she questioned offering her giant hand/paw towards me. I nodded slightly and touch her hand accepting the offer. she slowly starts to walk as another places a cloth over my shoulders and I nod to them silently thanking them. I'm not sure if I should speak or keep remaining silent at this point.so we've been walking for a while as I look around I just realize that this place is huge yet these anthro people are very slow its like their race has exchanged speed and mobility for warmth! as we continue down the hall I see a statue of what appears to be a horned wolf I try to see it clearly but we turn that is just as disappointing as what I saw next I was led to a open room with a single bed and a desk slowly I let go of the female's hand and take a few steps inside the room. she then says "this is your room spirit walker, I'm just a room ahead of you, you seem tired so I think you should rest" before I could reply she had turned around saying "well goodnight young spirit walker."
