my senses started to recover as i stretched, feeling the soft bed i am on. realizing that i wasn't in the room that was provided to me, i sat up quickly seeing the 'ruler' lying next to me she looked like she was half asleep but then i saw a lion his mane had reached his shoulders as he was reading a paper with a scrunched up expression on his face. i think it might be her husband. sighing i slid off the bed stiff as ever giving a small moan of pain when i stood up fully he was just as slow as everyone else but my moan did alert him that i was awake. he looked up and smiled placing the paper to the side.

"hey there young spirit walker I'm king Yundo, can you understand me " i ask hoping that I'm understood and kinda hoping that she will talk to me first since coming here. since the spirit guardian has previously informed us that the first few anthro's that a spirit walker speaks to will become there most trusted, no matter the gender and from what Hakari has told me she hasn't spoken to anyone yet.

i roll my left shoulder a grinding sound ripples though my arm I'm not sure if it is audible or not this lion king Yundo gives me a saddened look i smile at him and curiously walk over to the paper he had set down and looked at it i can read it it appeared to be something about ' spirit walkers' witch is what the 'ruler' has been calling me i grab the paper and lean on the desk it was placed on and read it more clearly { log no: 789 today the spirit walker Tagin has told thouh that his form had changed when thy was extremely young thy has said that thy once stood upright like thouh before my mother had summoned thee. thy said that thy once looked like a human ,there numbers have gone down severely due to a disease that had spread rapidly among them and none of our medicine's have been any help. Tagin has told though that they are attempting a new remedy but so far no luck and while this crisis is going on thy has to constantly go to the borders and defend it against are rival kingdoms to the south ;end log: wow i look up in amazement for one thing i can read this and this seems like its a diary entry i look quickly around and see more papers i place the one page down ang grab the next entry. a little baffled king Yundo picked up the paper and read a line allowed from it making the spirit walker stop dead in what she was reading or trying to read the paper that had been previously wet. "thee has said that thee once stood upright like thee before my mother had summoned thy thee said that thee once looked like a human" i give him a dumb founded look and grabbed the paper removing it from his grasp and placing it down next to me and placing the page witch i was trying to decipher on top of it when he tried to grab it i slammed my hand on top of the pages that were placed on the desk just staring at him darkly.

he hesitates as i continue to stare at him. his wife stirs as the ruler sits up slowly she notices my dark glare only to take in a deep breath and yell at him making him jump facing the wrath of his wife. "Yundo you idiot! What did you do to her! why the hell is she looking at you like that? what have you done to upset her, and if you have hurt her so help me--" she cut herself off growling. her actions caught me off guard as i was staring at her. i just smiled and started to open my mouth to speak when my stomach growls. instantly i grasp my belly and crouch I'm pain out of hunger the ruler, and her husband Yundo both look at me smiling. the ruler speaks, "my I'm so sorry I've overlooked that I've called you here. but haven't offered you any kind of food yet, would you like something to eat young spirit walker? our chief should be preparing food for you to eat if you want that is...".she seemed to trial off silently as my expression and mood soured knowing that the chef was that antho that scares me. well, i hesitate - why? well for my own perseveration of course i contemplate if i should accept her offer or not. so far, she doesn't seem bad but why am i here and what popise do i serve, and what is a spirit walker exactly? i sigh slightingly to my self, but look at the ruler standing up. i nod to her deciding to accept her offer. she had smiled and got off the bed "my name is Queen Hakari, but if you want you can call me Hakari and that idiot of a lion you seemed to be irrated at is my husband King Yundo. he is nice, i think the only ones you have to really be wary of is the chef and two of the guards. they wont dare do anything to you. you are safe here." hakari introduced herself to me and her husband. i just slightly nodded to them as they both got up and started walking out of the room towards the steps. i followed being care full not to out walk them. i happen to see the statue getting closer as we start to head down the stars seeming to be approaching it. i don't fully understand why, but at this point i had dashed in front of them quickly making my way down the stairs only to stop and forget my momentarily hunger. as i saw a statue of a horned wolf - it had a single elk antler on its head near the right ear. looking at the base of the statue was the living horned wolf. i gasped as i took slow steps towards it. the wolf appeared to be sleeping, no anger or visible expression on its face - but i still approached with caution just in case i have to flee. soon in a matter of minutes Yundo and Hakari had come down the steps to see me nearly up to the wolf. i am about five meters away from it before i just stopped and decided to sit down, its ears twitched but nothing more happened for about a minute. so, i decided to reach out with one hand and touched the wolf. its fur soft to my touch. i petted its forehead as i noticed its tail wag slightly, kind of like a dog. i smile and relax my posture just noticing the rulers looking at me. i blush and stop petting the wolf standing up, i face them as my stomach growls fiercely once more. "lets go get something to eat. that is the spirit guardian, she helped us summon you here come on" as she gestures for me to follow her. i stop petting the wolf, the spirit guardian - and follow her to satisfy my hunger. my stomach continued growling as we head down a hall to the right. faint food smells seem to be amplified to my growling stomach making me do a undertone wine. we eventually arrive at a elongated room that looks like a dinning hall, it had a big rectangle table surrounded by chairs. as we sit waiting for food i rethink everything I've so far been experienced to so far the Queen and King hakari and Yundo have treated me with respect but i feel as if I'm not meant to be a human like they were expecting me to be some other species they have been calling me spirit walker im not sure how to ask them about it since they are royalty. i don't want to appear rude or too direct they both seem nice, but i have no idea what kind of laws are implemented here. oh man, i hope what i did earlier with the king doesn't come back and bite me. although his reaction and his wife's was like she was angry at him for me giving him a harsh glare; but does that mean that i have a level of power here that I'm not aware of ? i sigh hearing yelling i get off of the chair next to hakari and follow it silently i hear what sounds like bullying. i peek around the corner and see a black sheep child, she kind of looks like a Wiltshire Horned sheep but aren't their wool generally almost all white? she doesn't speak as she stood up from a jackal anthro kid pushing her "haha- what is it like being a mute, haha oh you cant talk that's right haha-" he seemed to mock her as she had a defeated expression on her face, i could see what this kind of thinking could lead her to. i inhale a small breath glancing back at the rulers they had started to move in my direction at this point. i don't want to wait, i see her get shoved again. a unknown anger swelled inside of me, i walk out not caring about my speed and stand in-between them no words were exchanged by my sudden appearance. i just stared at them and squinting my eyes silently saying 'try something'' . i am nervous honestly. i don't know how strong they are, or if i could even fight them, or how much trouble i would get in if i fought them, i realised a breath. the jackal anthro looks stunned as i get into a defensive stance. my vision blurres, crap not good, my eye sight seems to narrow as i try desperately to clear it. i have to see more i take a chance and rub my eye only to focus and see his fist coming at me slowly with gravity doing most of the work. i dodge quickly forgetting about my vision. i aim for his jaw only to miss, as i hit him square in the chest. he cried out and i braced my self for another attack. he had just fallen and his 'friend' was now staring at me wide eyed. he put both of his hands up in subbmission and started to back away slowly, at this point i started to relax. the rulers saw me as i softened my look suddenly a wave of exhaustion hit me i smiled at them.

the spirit walkers eyes are like the spirit guardians. her irises are narrowed, similar to what a cat breed would normally have. except it would not be fading from red to hazel brown. i swallowed touching my husband on his shoulder. as i see uta behind her looking down, and hatro in front of her knocked down, his brother gretin backing away clearly. what i can tell the spirit walker came to uta's aid, for being a mute. she is respected in the castle but why would she need to be defended. composeing my look carefully seeing the spirit walkers expression i asked Gretin "Gretin what happened here tell me the truth a lie will NOT be tolerated here, you are in front of the spirit walker so speak" i gazed down at him for a few seconds before he spoke "I'm sorry me and my brother were bullying uta, hatro thought it would be a good idea since she cant speak to bully her. when the spirit walker arrived my brother tried to punch her i am sorry i couldn't stop him, im sorry." i just sighed at that but concern seemed to be on yundo's face following his look i saw the spirit walker looking clearly exhausted she had sat down now and was looking at us but before i could say anything chief Gar comes out of the room behind his daughter carrying a tray of food he stopped as he saw the spirit walker his daughter and the other two boys. her expression changed with her moving faster than any of us could see she now faced him, blocking him form his daughter. her eye's seemed to glow yellow as they flashed between her normal irises and the cat like ones. i immediately understood she was scarred but she didn't want to stop protecting his daughter for some reason, is it because she has a disability maybe. i shake my head as chef Gar just closed his eyes the spirit walker didn't move. the spirit walkers posture is unwavering, until uta's mom ,my top advisor, came down the hallway, she looked at the posture of the spirit walker and how she was facing her husband already having been informed of his actions earlier. sighing with a strained smile on her face. that means one out of two things either she's angry or she disagrees strongly against something. "hey honey-" her voice was dark, as soon as she spoke his name. his eye's flew open wide as he looked at her, he half smiled at his wife knowing full well that she had been informed of his actions earlier. she had been two busy gathering the ancient documents for me and my husband to approach him. "have you done something to anger her again, or HAVE YOU BEEN A COMPLETE IDOIT AND SCARED HER YET AGIAN!, well . . . " i have NEVER head her yell. i was taken aback by her shout that i barely notice uta leading the spirit walker back into the dining room as other cooks avoided chef Gar and started to deliver the food when me and my husband reentered the dining room we saw that the spirit walker had her head down on the table her eye's closed not asleep but she seemed relaxed as uta sat in the chair next to her swaying back and forth tapping the chair quietly in a solid drum rhythm.

the food was placed as i sat up smiled at the Wiltshire Horn sheep anthro who had sat next to me she had started beating a drum like rhythm, witch calmed me. i focused on the food infront of me. i see many delicious meal items namely, there were crab, hot bread, and a kind of meat that reminded me of Saulsberry steak. i swallowed as Yundo and Hakari sat back down, i look at them not sure if i had to wait to eat or not. i kept looking at them and back to the food trying to be slow. hakari smiled toward me "please help yourself " she said and i did not hesitate any longer. quickly grabbing two pieces of bread, offering one to the sheep anthro witch she accepted it with a smile. i ate about five pieces of bread, seven crab legs, and three pieces of meat. feeling like i over ate, i leaned back in the chair and sighed. the sheep anthro had ate a few more pieces of bread. the rulers had some food as well. i was to busy eating to really pay attention, but since I'm no longer hungry i kind of want to see that wolf again, and read more of those papers. getting up, i walked towards the statue slowly. i managed to slow my pace down enough for them to see i was walking away. reaching the wolf i decided to sit up against it, soon i felt myself falling asleep to tired to move due to the filling meal. leaning up against the wolf's side i quickly fell asleep.
