And there you were, in front of your little sister, who was still in a hospital bed.

You prayed for her to open her eyes, to see those beautiful eyes that cheered every day and night of your life.

You begged to hear that 'I love you' one more time.

You cried, once again you did, you had to make a great effort not to scream, you didn't want to be taken out and waste the little time you had with her.

Anemia, that's the name of what killed her.

I was so advanced and that little girl so weak.

How come you didn't notice? You questioned yourself every second that passed.

Headaches, nosebleeds, vomiting, dizziness ...

Of course something had to be wrong, and you just ignored it, you did it because deep down you knew something was wrong and you didn't want to end that way ... but in the end nothing changed, and you were alone.
