Married Quarrel(AtLA/WC)-1

"So... you really are determined on this?"

"Yes, our differing ideas on how to deal with this world will not simply go away. So turning this into a little… competition seems to be the best possible decision for us."

"Except for the fact that we might no see each other for months, or even years."

"I will try to make something for communication before our next meeting. Besides, we are both pretty much immune to age now. We have the whole eternity ahead of us."

"…I'm still gonna miss you, my hubby."

"I will miss you as well, my dear."

"Can't this thing go any faster?!" Prince Zuko, the banished heir of the Fire Nation, yelled at his crew as they sailed towards their next destination in their hunt for the Avatar. The fact that he didn't actually know where that location was didn't matter. Capturing the Avatar was the only way he could regain his honor and return back home, therefore he would be catching him; no matter where he was! It wouldn't be like the South Pole or the Kyoshi Island again!

"Please calm yourself, prince Zuko." His uncle, the retired general and current wise old man on a boat, called from his seat as he placed the tiles onto the board in front of him and then poured a cup of tea for himself. "The ship is going as fast as it can and we don't know where the Avatar is headed at the moment. Your time would be better spent by resting, or training if that isn't possible." The old general continued and the exiled prince turned to him with a glare, his less than pleasant opinion on the tip of his tongue before he swallowed it down and sighed in order to calm down.

His uncle wasn't wrong. His time definitely could be spent better by training rather than yelling at the crew. Not to mention his uncle had joined him in his quest for the Avatar even though he definitely enjoyed his retirement back at the palace much more than a life on a ship, all for Zuko. He... he had to show his appreciation toward his uncle more often, let him know that he was thankful for his help.

"Very well." He finally said as he looked at his uncle with a more relaxed expression, even though his usual glare was the most comfortable expression he could make due... due to the scar.

"Now then, I believe that a small beginning with the more basic forms would be the best start." The old general said as he got up, seemingly uncaring of the glare that returned to his nephew's face. "These last few days I have been feeling like I have been neglecting my basics too, it wouldn't do well to forget them and end up unable to make use of the more difficult katas."

"Uncle, I saw you use the Dragon Breath at a pelican seagull just yesterday."

"It took my cookie!" The old general defended his actions with a huff, looking like he was about to declare a blood feud on all avian creatures for such an act of offense.

"Prince Zuko! General Iroh!" The possible feud between his uncle and avian creatures had to be left behind as lieutenant Jee, the highest ranking officer on the ship, ran towards them with a worried look on his face.

"What is it lieutenant?" His uncle asked as he got up from his seat.

"I... I am not entirely sure how to describe it sir." The military man admitted before continuing. "What exactly is one supposed to do if we find a man hovering over the water?"

"Lieutenant, if you are trying to take after my uncle and start on proverb business; don't. They don't work for my uncle, they won't work for you."

"I don't think it's a proverb, prince Zuko." His uncle said with wide eyes as he pointed towards the sea and when Zuko followed the old general's finger, he indeed saw a shape that resembled a person over the water in a sitting position.

"It's..." For a moment, the banished prince was rendered speechless before a glare appeared on his face again. "It must be a water bender! Have the men take battle positions and ready the brig for a prisoner!" He ordered as he turned around, intending to go back to his room and get his armor.

"No prince Zuko!" But then he was stopped by his uncle's hand on his shoulder. "Look more carefully, whoever that is, they are not touching the water at all." The old general pointed out and Zuko saw that he was right. The person, who appeared to be a man with black hair and glasses, wasn't on the water; instead he was hovering above it.

"What do we do then?" In the end he decided to defer to his uncle's superior experience, mostly because he had no idea how to deal with this.

"Lieutenant Jee, tell the helmsman to slow the ship down and direct us towards that person." The old general ordered the lieutenant who gave him a salute and left. "Please be ready prince Zuko." He then looked at the exiled prince with a hard look in his eyes. "I believe we are about to come into contact with a spirit."

It took them a few minutes until they were fully close to what his uncle believed to be a spirit, but when they came close enough; he stopped hovering over the water and instead levitated up to their ships level and started to hover over the deck instead.

"Prince Zuko, I assume." The spirit talked and Zuko was immensely on his guard, and his uncle walked between him and the spirit, after all; a spirit directly knowing one's name never did led to anything pleasant in old stories.

"Who's asking?" He asked, his hands clenched and ready to unleash his fire within a moment's notice.

"I am called Skrymir, the lord of arcane. And you, Prince Zuko…" The now named Skrymir pointed at the exiled prince. "…have been chosen."

"Heyo!" Sokka would never admit to screaming like a little girl when the single tallest and the most muscular woman he has ever seen walked out of the woods and jumped in front of Aang.

"Who are you?!" Katara asked as she blended some water out of her pouch and Sokka pulled out his trusty boomerang, Aang on the other hand just looked confused.

"I'm Astarte!" The now named Astarte said as she put her hand on Aang's head, uncaring of the threatening looks they were sending her way. "And I'm here to help you guys save the world!"
