God Tree

The path to the god tree was very arduous. Many ninjas of enemy villages were roaming about because the leaf village was anticipating my arrival. The other villages didn't believe in the prophecy because it centered around the leaf village and thought it nothing more than a hoax to trick them.

The counsel of the leaf was very adamant about me being accompanied by someone, so I picked Anko. I'm a snake and she's a snake lover, perfect match. They were all pissy about it because she was a student of a traitor and wanted to send a ninja to gain my favor. A few slaps from my tail, and they didn't complain about my decision.

Anko was one of the girls in the village that worshiped me as the savior of their world. She started learning under Orochimaru, the traitor, because she dreamed of becoming closer to the savior who was a snake woman.

"So Anko, do you want to join the girls and become my maid too?", I ask. There is zero hesitation in my voice because I don't want to dance around the topic. If she wants to become my maid, I will turn her into a demon so she may serve me forever.

She stops for a second and freezes before a bunch of enemy ninjas pop out of the tree. She let her guard down and didn't react in time, so I flicked my wrist and my knife flew out of its new holster to skewer them in their hearts

They fell to the ground with a thud and Anko bowed deeply, "I'm sorry, but I don't believe I'm worthy to serve you Sarah. I have been tainted and don't wish to give you used goods."

She keeps her head down, waiting for me to say something. My knife returns to its holster after its meal and I slither in front of her.

Grabbing her by the shoulders I straighten her back and look deeply into her eyes. She has hope in them because she believes I may save her. She just needs a little pick me up, so I place my fangs into her curse mark and put a little bit of healing venom into her. If poisons can be used as medicine without my devouring innate, then surely my venom can become a healing potion with it.

Once her curse mark burned away, I tell her she is my maid and she accepts with a much happier voice than when we started the journey. I shrink down into my tiny lamia form and slither into her shirt.

"I prefer to stay in warm places Anko. So, from now on I will enjoy your warmth from in here.", I tell her and rest my head on her shoulder with my tail wrapped around her upper body. If she wasn't wearing her vest, it would look like she had a snakeskin shirt on that hugged her in all the right places.

"Yes Mistress!", she squealed happily.

My knife was holstered on Anko because I could control it with simple hand gestures but couldn't shrink it down without effecting its cutting ability. The enemy ninja kept coming, but I just told Anko to ignore them. They couldn't react to my knife spinning like a saw of death and cutting them into pieces, so I just let it deal with them.

"Savior, *yipe*, I mean Mistress we're getting close to the god tree. It's just up this hill.", she tells me.

I slither out of her vest and give her ear a little nibble on the way. Returning to my true size, I lift the tree out of the ground and hear the world scream in pain. There are a few pain numbing spells I cast around the area, but this thing is massive. I can only do so much to help her when this thing spreads throughout such a large area.

The tree is out, and the world is healed with a formation powered by a Star Core. Since I need to examine the tree, and it needs to be alive to do so, I take out a Star Core and synthesize it into a smaller size.

The tree's roots are trying to dig into my hands, but I can still eat anything that I touch, so its attempts are futile. When the Star Core appears, it takes this chance to change targets and brings the core into its trunk. Not long after two fruits appear that radiate chakra.

"Seeing it firsthand is so beautiful mistress. If this tree wasn't being used by the invaders to kill our planet, I wouldn't mind seeing it bare fruit again.", Anko says. I do like the look of nature, and this tree doesn't need the life energy of planets to bare fruits, so I think this will stay in my gate.

What would the fruits taste like though? This question piques my interest, so I take a bite out of one and the answer is, it tastes like a Star Core. The tree made the fruit out of one, so if it made it out of a planet's life force, it would probably taste like the fruits that grew on it. Might be why the Otsutsuki are targeting planets with life on them, makes the fruit taste better.

The gate is currently scanning the other fruit and the tree itself, so I will review the data later to make a formation for extracting the energy from the goddess on the moon. I'm finished here, so next is to return to the village and learn seals from Naruko. Since the Otsutsuki clan has many members with god-level energy, I will fight their quantity of energy with my quality of energy.
